House is nicer than pictures suggest. Great, responsive host when I texted questions or concerns. The place was well prepared when we arrived with bits of food, drink and the all important tourist guide. Within an hour drive to all major tourist spots and just a great experience!

Fantastic oasis in Curaçao!

We lived our week here! Property was spacious, clean, and welcoming— exactly as advertised. Our hosts were fantastic and flexible when we had multiple family members arriving at different times for our stay. This is the perfect place to stay in curaçao— close to almost everything we wanted and a lovely place to spend a vacation. Would absolutely stay again!

A very nice place to stay.

The neighborhood is east walking distance to Jan Thiel, and it was very safe. Lovely environment.

Great View and Amenities

We had a very comfortable stay at Villa Hacienda! Our morning sunrise views were amazing! Keila and Mylenka are very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend.

Great for family and friends

The property was better than expected. Lots of space to spread out. The back eating area is very windy (not the home owners fault), but the view is beautiful. There are two other wonderful sitting areas that have no wind. Location is great. We didn’t try walking to the beach, but seems walkable. Grocery store is very close which is nice as well.

Lovely spacious house!

A beautiful property with loads of amenities available. It was perfect for our group of 12, and the property managers went the extra mile to make sure the seven teenagers we were traveling with each had their own bed to sleep in. Everyone was extremely friendly. The view, the pool, the sea breezes, and the furnishings were all lovely and the gated property accommodated 3 cars easily. Very comfortable for a week.

Awesome House for a Group

My friends and family met up in Curaçao for my 40th and this villa was fantastic for the 12 of us. The main bedroom has AMAZING views. The air flow with all the windows open is great and the A/c in bedrooms was perfect. Ann was super friendly and communicative. She gave us fantastic recommendations for the island. And the view and pool were AWESOME!!!! Great, central location to explore the island.

Great house for a larger group

We had an amazing time in Curaçao. We were on a trip with four families and there was comfortable space for all of us. The host was very communicative and helped us coordinate a carnival stand that was amazing. One thing to note is that two of the bedrooms are upstairs and two of the bathrooms are upstairs so the remaining downstairs bedrooms had to share just one toilet. Otherwise, we were very pleased with everything.

Spacious Home with a fantastic view

The property is large, impressive and we felt very secure in this neighborhood. The view of the mountains and the bay was spectacular and could not be replicated. The pool was a bit cool, but we were informed that there were practically no heated pools in Curacoe. We liked the location close to Jan Thiel beach which also had 2 good restaurants. Our driver took us downtown where we ate lunch at two of the larger hotels on the beach and also at a local fish restaurant on the beach. Also, enjoyed two great meals at SOL-the Kitchen and the Wine Cellar. Overall a great experience.

Perfect for a big group/family

Our group of 12 people stayed for 10 days, and we had a fantastic time. The house had more than enough room, with a great layout that gave each bedroom their own space. Opening the many windows allowed for a beautiful breeze, that we never needed the A/C during the day. The neighbourhood felt safe and super welcoming, with easy access to beaches, the dive shop we were using, restaurants, supermarkets, and just off a main road to get all over the island. The best part for our kids was the pool! That view!! The outdoor living space was amazing, with options at the front and back of the house for taking advantage of the shade and the breeze. The rental team was quick to respond to our questions (within minutes). I would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Great time

Overall great stay. Owner very easy to communicate with. Responds to email within minutes. Property manager communicated through the stay . Just few things to point out. Make sure to bring bug repellent(you will need it at night times) If you decide to do laundry there is no dryer so you will have to dry your clothes outside (very fast due to weather ) kitchen doesn't have enough light we had to bring one of the floor lamps to the kitchen to be able to have a better lighting but that's minor stuff. You will enjoy your time. Shopping (food) is within few min driving and u can walk to the beach 22min

Amazing Breeze and view of the city!!!

Ann was a great host, she was there to greet us, and she took the time to share with us all of the must see attractions. The home is spacious, with an amazing breeze that comes through the windows and doors. The home was pretty much near everything. We didnt travel anymore than 40 minutes to any one area. Beaches are beautiful, the national park is a beautiful experience. Mermaid tour to Klein island was great, food was delicious! Must take a dramamine or the ride there will be hectic and rough! Ostrich farm was pretty cool, but kind of pricey for such a short tour. Must visit The Greenhouse restaurant on Mambo beach, ask forSorina, tell her we sent you! She was an amazing waitress!! The Pincho Garden was delicious!! Try the hanging tenders..., melts in your mouth! Had a great time!

Great property!

We loved our stay in Curacao! We travelled with four couples total and this house is plenty big enough for all of us and allowed for each couple to have their own bathroom. There is a master bedroom upstairs with a cute door leading into the master bath. Upstairs there is another room with it's own bathroom. Downstairs are three more bedrooms - each which share a bathroom.The outside spaces and view are fabulous! We often ate dinner out side - the breeze made for a comfortable temperature at all times of the day. The pool was wonderful for 8 adults and we spent a lot of time in the pool - even after a day at the beach (there are even fun lights for the pool at night). There is plenty of space to relax and hang out as a group or find a spot for alone time. One tip would be to close all windows when you get up before eating breakfast in the house - the flies do find there way in (we had no trouble with flies at dinner or in the evening).The neighborhood was very quite and safe - and there is a locked gate for the house. We found it easy to drive into Jan Thiel and Willemstad as well as to many other places and beaches on the island.We were at the property for more than a week, so we really enjoyed the mid-stay cleaning and fresh towels.We did try and limit the use of the air conditioning in the bedrooms, but we did still have to pay a little extra on checkout, but that was expected. We would definitely stay in this property again when we return to Curacao.

The house and location are amazing! Also, the pool is super clean and a great way to cool down during the day. The view can't be beat- so nice to sit outside at night and look over the island. A few tips (maybe because we are new to Curacao as travellers):1. There is an energy usage limit so be careful about how much/often you use the air conditioners in the rooms. If you go over, you will be charged.2. The best way to reach the property management company is WhatsApp. Even though I had cell service and the ability to text, WhatsApp seemed to be the best for communication. 3. Try to keep as many windows and doors open during the day as you can. The house can get a good crosswind going, but there are no air conditioning units in the living, dining or kitchen areas.4. The property management team may be able to check you into the house early if you send them your flight info. We had some miscommunication about this since the listing says check-in is at 4pm. Definitely consider this house if you're going to Curacao! We fit 9 people in the house very comfortably!

Spectecular View in an AMAZING Villa!

What a beautiful villa you have!! All of our guests were astonished with the views and very pleased with the villa and the amenities. The house really fulfilled all our needs! Great Stay

Ann was so very accommodating and communication was very easy. Not knowing the island, I booked her house because I thought it to be a great fit for our party of 11..spacious, comfortable, view of the sea, and had a pool. When we arrived, we found the house to be perfect for our needs. We explored the neighborhood and Jan Thiel and found that the area was absolutely lovely...the house was in a perfect spot. We took walks to the beach, grocery and made use of the trails nearby. We had a great holiday and I would highly recommend this host and her house. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved every minute of our trip

We booked this house through VRBO and I am so happy I read all of the reviews of every house we looked at. This house is 100% spot on with it’s description. The house is very large (we had 11 in our group and had plenty of room). The views are beautiful sun rises in the back of the house while having morning coffee and sunsets in the front of the house as you ate dinner. Anne the property owner was a pleasure to work with. She was responsive and attentive when questions needed answers. We even were so grateful with a later checkout since our flight was leaving later then the first flight out. The island of Curacao is great if you have a car . We had a van and we were able to see everything. We went to these places and loved them ! - Kokomo beach - the famous swing is there - Playa Lagun - small beach but a restaurant up top -Playa Porto Marie - swim with the pigs - Kanapa Grandi - beautiful beach - swim with the turtles - Cas Abao Beach - no food or drinks but the water was spectactular. - Playa Forti - there is a place to jump off the cliff near the restaurant - it is really high and you jump at your own risk -Jan Thiel Beach - which is in walking distance from the house. Pricy gorcery store . I do not recommend eating at the Zanzibar - service was beyond slow (we waited 1.5 hours before someone came to our table.) We ate at the restaurant that is all white (not sure of the name but service was impeccable and food was really good. ) - Mambo beach- great fro swimming with little kids - there is a barrier in between that protects from the big waves . The beach reminded me a bit of Miami. - We went to the floating bridge 9be careful it moves ) lol . We took ATV’s from Eric’s ATV on the Island and that was a great 3.5 trip. - We saw Flamignos at JAn Kok - EAT at STEAK AND RIBS in RIFFORT OMG !!!! Soooooo GOOD The kids rented jet skis at Jan Thiel beach Wonderful trip - wonderful house!!

Het verblijf was top

We werden leuk ontvangen met een lekker drankje. Het ligt op een kleine afstand van jan thiel, goed te lopen. Het uitzicht is heel mooi je kijkt mooi over de zee heen vanuit het zwembad. Als je met een vriendengroep bent komt de bar ook goed van pas. Kortom echt een top verblijf voor een goede prijs

Super fijn

Prima uitvalsbasis dicht bij Zanzibar en Mambo beach op een berg zodat je kunt genieten van de wind en het mooie uitzicht. Het huis is erg ruim een beetje apart ingedeelde ruimtes maar plek genoeg voor iedereen! Incheck en uitcheck gingen soepel en snel. We mochten de dag van vertrek zelfs kosteloos langer in de villa blijven, super lief!

Wat een fantastisch huis en heerlijke bedden

We hebben genoten in dit huis. Welke zeer regelmatig wordt schoongemaakt en nieuwe handdoeken worden gebracht. De bedden zijn zo lekker, ik ga kijken of ik deze voor thuis ook kan kopen. Omdat het op de berg ligt is er altijd een heerlijk windje, die je hier echt verwelkomt

Curacao 3/1/2020 to 3/5/2020

We were 5 people there for a wedding that occurred nearby at a resort, so we came early and spent days at Ann's rental. She was very pleasant and responsive and gave us ideas of things to do. Americasn don't know how to use the European oven ! So with texted pics of the knobs we figured it out with her help. The rooms were spacious and it is a grand old mansion with tons of outdoor tables, loungers, pool. Extreme character to this place, and lovely. Would do this again for sure. Thanks, Ann!

Comfortable and great view

Stayed here with group. The house was clean, well equipped and good location. It was so nice to get up to watch the sunrise out on the back deck. Also the large table out the west side of the house was so big! Great for everyone( I think they have 12 chairs around it) to sit out of the wind a little and have dinner. It was only a 15-20 min walk down to the beach, restaurants, store... And good exercise on the walk back up the hill😃 Host was helpful and quick to respond to text I would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Curacao! I loved being up a little higher for the view and enjoyed the wind

New year stay 2020

owner waited patiently after we were delayed at the airport . Property has a beautiful view and was clean and maintained . It had amazing view of the island wide fireworks for new year . Although not walkable distance to the beach it was a very short drive to a nice beach with easy parking and multiple good restaurants . Easy to reach many activities including boat day trips and jet ski rentals , windsurfing and diving . Kids enjoyed a private pool onsite . Owner was very nice and visited with pastries for new year . Overall good experience and can take a large group .
