Peace and serenity abounds at the Crystal Carriage House.
Nestled on two acres and a short 19 miles to Crystal Ski Resort and 12 miles to the Sunrise Entrance of Mount Rainier.

The Carriage House is tastefully decorated with 14 foot high pine ceilings, sky lights, and a two-story window wall that looks out onto a forested landscape. Watch the local
elk herd wander by from your own private deck.

We hope to welcome you to the Crystal Carriage House and include you in our cherished list of returning guests.

Place was great for our ski trip. The host was super friendly and was able to resolve and answer all of our questions. The kitchen came with everything and the fireplace was nice. I would note that it’s not truly a one bedroom. It is more like a large studio.

Loved our stay here. Had a question before arrival and owner responded immediately to answer our question. Had no issues. Loved the location in the woods, we could hear the elk near by. Was very clean and was even nicer than the pictures show. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony for dinner hoping to catch an elk walking by as others next door said they saw the multiple times. We would 100% stay here again.

Very clean and well appointed studio over the owners garage. Very comfortable. Very convenient for visiting the Sunrise entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. The check in was very quirky with extra rule sheets that had to be reviewed and acknowledge outside of the VRBO app. This proved difficult because this is a remote area with very limited cell reception. In addition the security measure were a bit over the top, a key lock box and 2 different codes needed to get into the house. The biggest issue was that the WiFi was not working. The owner brushed it off as only effecting the TV. We didn’t care about the TV but needed internet access to plan our hikes, research restaurants, and plan next phases of our travel. None of this was possible without internet or adequate cell service. A very nice place but check-in, getting into the property, and internet would need to be addressed before I would rent again.

Perfect, secluded location within great proximity to Sunrise Point at Mount Rainier and Crystal Mountain. Had the amenities we needed despite the issues with WiFi that Ruth was working so hard to get resolved with the carrier. The washer/dryer was a huge plus.

Lovely weekend in Mount Rainier area

Spent our weekend exploring the National Park and this was the perfect spot to rest and relax once our day was complete. 15 minutes drive to the entrance of the Park and 15 minutes to Emuclaw. Even had a few deers visiting the yard in the early morning.

Peaceful retreat

The property sits on a private forested acreage and is very quiet and private. Elk graze along the road and on the property grounds. The apartment is very clean and well-stocked. It was the perfect place to rest after our daily hikes on Mt. Rainier. Wonderful! wonderful!

Wonderful Getway at Crystal Carriage House

We loved this property. We loved having breakfast and coffee on the front porch. The area is pristine and quiet. The apt is so cute with its private entrance and security system. Ruth is very detailed and communicates well with you. We would love to stay here again.

Mount Rainier Trip

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Crystal Carriage House. Everything was perfect about the home and it was a terrific location for our day trips to Mount Rainier. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and met our needs for cooking our meals while there. We highly recommend this home and the hosts.

Great Place!

We were in town for a wedding but wanted to explore in our off time. This was the perfect place! Amazing scenery, nice hikes nearby, and the elk came and visited! The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.
