We found this cabin to be well-equipped and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of towels, and the info book had some great tips on local hikes and whatnot. Cell service was definitely sketchy (we have AT&T, and I was able to periodically send/receive texts but not calls, while my husband could make calls from the porch), but that's to be expected out in the forest. The wifi was excellent and filled any gaps in communication ability. Our younger child enjoyed the bunk bed room and the nearby playground area. All of us enjoyed the close proximity to Mt. Rainier. Even while getting a later start than we hoped on a couple of mornings, we had no trouble finding parking at the Sunrise area or the Grove of the Patriarchs area, which I attribute to our head start on the day-trippers from Seattle on driving in to the mountain.
It wasn't a problem, but I did find it odd that there were no nightstands next to the bed upstairs.
Again, we had planned for this and it was not a problem, but anyone considering staying here should note that it's about a 30-minute drive to grocery stores or restaurants.
The only small thing that was a bit off-putting is that the cabin info book had a long list of things to do during checkout, including vacuuming and fairly extensive cleaning. This seemed excessive given that this place has a cleaning fee. Fortunately, the checkout instructions in our VRBO email were much more reasonable/standard (strip beds and take out trash, etc.), so it ended up not being an issue. I'd suggest potentially updating the on-site notebook to match the VRBO-email instructions.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. This cabin really helped us make the most of our time in the Mt. Rainier area, and we would definitely recommend it.
