Escape to Bear's Booth, a recently updated Maltby-style mountain cabin full of charm and character, located in Big Bear City just minutes from local attractions. This cozy 900+ sq ft home offers a warm woodsy interior with rich wood-beamed accents and comfortable living space, perfect for families or small groups. Enjoy easy access to ski resorts, the lake, The Village, and nearby National Forest hiking trails while relaxing in your own inviting mountain retreat.

LIVING & DINING
Relax in the cozy living space, where comfortable seating and classic cabin charm create the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy the beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace or watch your favorite shows on the smart TV. The layout includes center island counter seating and a dining area, making it easy to gather for meals or spend quality time together.

KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchen features solid surface stone countertops, custom lighting, and stainless steel appliances. It includes:

Cool Cabin - Take your own trash out

I loved my stay in big bear but was very disappointed that I had to haul my own trash across town opposite end to the property management dumpster.

Big Bear at Bear's Booth

Bear's Booth is a small two bedroom, two path home. The original house was build using knotty pine on the ceilings and on the walls in the living and kitchen rooms. The added on room allows more space, but is not as warm as the interiors of the original house. The outside deck is nice, but in summer time the fire pit or whatever it is takes up lots of the space. The surface of the deck floor is in dire need of refinishing. We enjoyed our time in the house and for us it was a very satisfying stay.
