Recently updated Maltby-style cabin full of mountain charm, featuring a warm, woodsy interior with rich T&G wood-beamed accents throughout. Conveniently located just minutes from ski resorts, shopping, restaurants, Alpine Zoo, the lake, and the Village. Close to National Forest hiking trails, making this the perfect mountain getaway.

LIVING SPACE - Cozy 900+ sq ft home with living room, center island counter seating, a smart TV, a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 2 bath. First bedroom has a queen bed. Second bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed with trundle. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Gorgeous kitchen with solid surface stone counters, custom lighting, new stainless steel appliances, stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Smart TV, streaming apps along with fast WiFi, board games, and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace. Laundry area with stackable washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Relax on the back deck and or enjoy grilling with the propane barbecue. Level, well treed lot in a fully fenced yard.

Cool Cabin - Take your own trash out

I loved my stay in big bear but was very disappointed that I had to haul my own trash across town opposite end to the property management dumpster.

Big Bear at Bear's Booth

Bear's Booth is a small two bedroom, two path home. The original house was build using knotty pine on the ceilings and on the walls in the living and kitchen rooms. The added on room allows more space, but is not as warm as the interiors of the original house. The outside deck is nice, but in summer time the fire pit or whatever it is takes up lots of the space. The surface of the deck floor is in dire need of refinishing. We enjoyed our time in the house and for us it was a very satisfying stay.
