Clean & Safe Rental Properties: Keeping our vacation homes sparkling clean is a top priority for us here at Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals. All properties are cleaned, sanitized & disinfected before guests check-in with products proven to eliminate viruses & bacteria. All linens are laundered at an offsite facility and new linens and towels are brought in for every guest's stay. The entirety of our housekeeping processes meet and exceed all CDC cleaning guidelines. If you have any questions/concerns, please reach out to our office for more information.

For your convenience: Our housekeepers will leave a check in packet with area information for you at the property. Also included at the rental are paper products, trash bags, dish soap and hand soap. Guests are asked to bring their own toiletries for their stay.

Nice House

The Dunn house is very roomy and comfortable. Had everything we needed and a nice Blackstone grill and a pizza oven. It was nice to relax in the hot tub also. The view of the lake is very nice along with the swimming area and float. We had a very nice family vacation.

Idyllic location

An Amazing Weekend Away

We had an amazing birthday weekend away with friends and family at the Dunn Main House. The view, the lake, the house, and the hot tub were all spectacular. We had a long weekend of board games, good laughs, and too much fun. Everyone loved their stay and we will surely be back again soon!

Spectacular!

We loved every minute of our stay that the Dunn Lake House. It's spacious but comfortable. Loved the hottub, husband loved the pool table! We had so much fun exploring the area and cant wait to do more hiking!

Family Vacation

Spacious house. Great view and lots of outdoor sitting. Quiet location. Wish lights switches were labeled. Dehumidifier constantly runs in basement and is loud. Had a few plumbing issues but management co responded in a timely manner.

Memorable Dunn Compound

We stayed in the Dunn main house. The view of Mooselookmeguntic was extraordinary. Plenty of space for eight. Our kids swam in the lake. We were able to catch fish right off the shore and shore deck. We hiked over to Bald Mountain. The view of Rangely, Rangely Lake, Cupsuptic and Mooselookmeguntic was fantastic. We drove over to Height of Land. The Portage Tap House is close and has great food and beverage. A great place to stay.

Awesome house with spectacular view

We rented the Dunn house for New Years weekend as a group of 11. The open floor plan and multiple seating areas was great for playing cards, board games and making a puzzle. We skied at Saddleback which is super close and very easy to get in and out of the resort. The Hot tub and sauna were great post ski treats!! The house is an awesome post and beam with speculation views of “Mooselick” lake with mountains surrounding it all around. Plenty of items in kitchen and all linens bathrobes and warm blankets provided. Highly recommend Dunn House

Christmas at the Dunn Compound

This is magical home facing Mooselookmeguntic Lake. The morning sunrises and the ever-changing mood of the lake were fun to watch. Bald Eagles landed on the ice in front of us as we enjoyed our coffee. This home is beautifully furnished with the owner's own antiques, lamps and chairs. The pool table in the main living area was a huge hit for all of us. This is just the nicest getaway you can imagine. Many Thanks to Morton & Furbish for all they did to make our Christmas away very special.

Stunning, 5-Star Luxury

This luxurious home exceeded our expectations in every way. The nearly 180 degree view of the lake, autumn trees, and mountains, was superb. The home had beautiful, comfortable furnishings, ensconced in a warm wood interior. The cathedral ceilings gave it a very spacious feel and the large full-length windows brought the beauty of the outside in. I was also pleasantly surprised to see touches of Scandinavia with the gorgeous rosemale table and art. My husband and I spent the days hiking amazing trails and the evenings counting stars as we relaxed in the hot tub. We also found the host charming, friendly, attentive to detail, and wanting to make our time very special. If you are considering staying here, don't hesitate. We so hope to return. We'd like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the owners for our wonderful experience.

5 lakeside retreat

Lovely home with gorgeous views. Very spacious. Nice beach for kids with gentle slope. Right next to public boat launch so convenient for keeping boat on trailer. Very quiet. Kitchen well stocked with cookware and dishes. Beds mostly very comfortable although upstairs bedrooms very warm on hot days despite ceiling fans in living room. Garbage disposal wasn't working and would have been very helpful to keep sink flowing but replacement is on the way. For small children deck is hazardous as no railing around top of bench seat with up to 10 foot drop on other side. Large lawn very nice for outdoor games

Where Memories are Made

We have stayed at plush and elegant homes and we have stayed in cozy homes, but never in one that fits both descriptions so well. The very open floorplan that seems to encompass both the in and outdoor areas is perhaps part of the reason. There was room to spread out and room to gather together. The deck is amazing and drew us out to enjoy the wonderous view. Yet when the weather changed and became too much for us we went inside and were still allowed the ability to gaze upon the lake and mountains through the extraordinary windows that surrounded us. Cooking and baking was made easy with an abundance of cookware and double oven. While we were drawn to explore and visit this beautiful area, including the Outdoor Heritage Museum, which is not to be missed, it was hard to pull ourselves away. Also not to be missed are the cinnamon buns on Sunday at The Farmer's Daughter and the convenience of having the Oquossoc General Store so close was greatly appreciated! We have stayed in several homes managed by Morton and Furbish but I must say this perhaps is our favorite!!! We feel honored to have been able to experience time here.
