Spacious, quiet cottage located on property with extensive gardens, small lake and samll bush walk.

Recently redecorated, open plan living area, wood burning fire, fully equipped kitchen, with breakfast bar seating and dining table for 6.
Separate bedroom, sleeping up to 4 and pullout sofa in living area.
Washroom area includes its own washing machine for easy cleanup after all the outdoor activities the area has to offer.

Private outdoor space, with adjacent large green perfect for family activities such as kicking a ball etc.

Freeview Tv & WIFI included.

Plenty of off street parking.

Close to Waitara township, boardwalk to beach and numerous food outlets.
20 minutes to New Plymouth CBD

Waitara wonderland!

Delightful and comfortable place to stay for a family of four, a very reasonable price, and with exceptional hosts, Fiona even made me a hand made leather belt because it was the one thing I forgot. Close enough to New Plymouth that it wasn't an issue doing and seeing all the things we wanted, but was nice to be able to escape the city business for something peaceful and picturesque.

Family weekend away

Hosts are fantastic, took time to show our grandchildren their animals and let the girls help put the chooks to bed, accommodation is very roomy and so space for everyone, it was hot but you could leave all the windows open which helped (perhaps one day an air conditioner could be installed?). Overall a great place to stay, close to NP itself but semi rural enough to be quiet and relaxing. Certainly somewhere we would stay again.

Lovely place to stay

The house had all we needed for a few nights away. Easy commute in to New Plymouth. Beautiful gardens to wander around in and ducks and rabbits to interact with. Fiona and Chris were very welcoming.

Lovely holiday spot

Great holiday accommodation for exploring the Taranaki region. Comfortable, clean with all the necessities for along term stay. Hosts Chris and Fiona were so welcoming and friendly. Lots of activities for the kids, on an expansive property with lots to explore.

Snow trip

Fiona and Chris are the loveliest hosts who go above and beyond! Their massive park like garden and orchard are very impressive, especially with the special lights at night. We had a very comfy and cosy stay.

Great place

Lovely house, feels spacious. Clean and tidy. Best part was having the fire lit when we arrived and the house being warm. Due to short daylight hours didn't get to explore the garden but it looked great out the windows. Warm and welcoming hosts. Thank you.

An awesome hidden away gem!

This is the perfect spot if you dont want to be amoungst the hustle of the city, but still close enough to do trips in without it being incovienient. Fiona and Chris were amazing, we travelled up for an inline tournament and they even came to watch a game! Everything we needed for a weekend away was there, Chris even came to light the fire (that was awesome, i tried to give it a go but couldnt lol) There was plenty of room with 6 of us, I think weve found our place for everytime were needing to come back to the beautiful Naki. Thanks again for having us guys, we really appreciate it.

Great place for my family to stay!!

This is our first time as a family of six going to Florida and this condo made it the best experience! The place was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the pool and how close it was to the beach!!

We had a really lovely night staying at this massive property! Chris even gave us avocados, nuts, and passion fruit to snack on from the property. This place is huge!

Spacious home on a wonderful property

We just had a one night stay here but it was a quiet little home. It’s much bigger on the inside than you expect. I wish we had more time to explore the property. Fiona and Chris were lovely. We even accidentally left a couple things when we checked out and were able to meet up with Chris to get them back. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Large family friendly space

Our family loved everything about this stay. Wonderfully warm welcoming hosts, huge space and gardens. We adventured to the White Cliffs which was incredible walking and sunset. Another evening spent at New Plymoth was wonderful. Hosts even helped us dry out our wet camping gear. Cant recomend this Bach highly enough.

Perfect place for our weekend of activities in New Plymouth

Myself and my 4 friends had an incredible weekend on this property - so much land to explore, bunnies, ducks, cats, and very friendly hosts. Fiona even allowed my two extra friends who were visiting from England to park their van on the property so they could spend time with us in the evenings in the house. Couldn't have asked for better, highly recommend!

Beautiful place

Fiona and Chris were very accommodating and friendly. It is a great spot for families. My son had a blast swimming in the pool (Fiona and Chris's pool they kindly let vayden use at his pleasure) and shooting hoops. The pictures if the place don't do it justice.

We really enjoyed our stay, it's a great place to relax away from traffic and noise, very quite place. The property has a backyard gardening, small bush walk, they provided bicycles for kids. Thanks a lot Chris and Fiona for nice hospitality.
