Lovely quiet place to stay. We loved it.especially morning sunrise was so beautiful from the kitchen.Only the shower temperature adjustment was difficult for us.

Location was great , was used as sleeping only

The main bedroom could do with some curtains instead of blinds. The sun streams in the early morning. Also, the main bed was very hard. The shower is super strong so the water sprays everywhere! The place was under renovation so some cupboards/doors wouldn't shut. The lounge and kitchen are marvellous. The kitchen has everything you need. I love the filtered water tap, thank you.

Ok stay, a few small issues.

Nice location, lovely views. Home appears relatively clean. Unfortunately I do have a gripe about there not being a sheet separating the top duvet of the main bed (forgot to check the others), feels a bit unhygienic. I also had a hair on my pillowcase upon arrival, then checked the bed and there was a hair in there too. There is a cat (unsure who it belongs too) that is quite adamant about getting inside and literally meowed very loudly on and off all night as well as banging on the door (the banging was that loud I thought it was a human causing all the commotion). This went on for the 2 nights we stayed causing broken sleep. Not the most pleasurable experience but it met our needs during our time in Waitara. I'm sure if these things were rectified this home would be a 5 star review.

Wonderful stay

Everything we expected and needed. Tidy property. The kitchen had everything we required. Shower packed a punch, good pressure but we figured it out. Lovely rooms. It was a handy to where we spending our time in Taranaki. And close to Waitara township. An easy drive to access whatever we needed. Not far from the main highway. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely light, attractive spacious kitchen, dining, lounge. Roomy bedrooms with good storage. Master bed was hard, could do with a soft mattress topper, to make it a perfect room.

Modern & relaxing

Stylish, really comfortable, sunfilled & felt like home. Had everything we needed for us & our child. Quiet street. Handy to everything we needed & felt like a holiday should. Highly recommend.

Perfect little place to stay

We loved it here! This little place has everything you could possibly need. It's spotlessly clean, bright and sunny, the beds are comfy and the area is quiet, which made for a great night's sleep. The hosts are super-quick to respond and so helpful. We based ourselves here to explore New Plymouth which is about 20 mins drive away. We made good use of the cafes and restaurants at Bell Block, just 10 mins drive away. Would definitely recommend this great little place!
