The Tidewater Lighthouse located on the Cardigan River offers a quiet scenic large apartment getaway close to PEIs finest golf courses Brudenell and Dundarave. The Lower Deck apartment shares a beautiful two story entrance with The Upper Deck owners apartment. (Owners are not in residence during guest stays please feel free to inquire).
The Lower Deck apartment features a king master with 2 piece ensuite, a second queen bedroom and a queen Murphy bed in the front living room/bedroom which can be closed off and used as a third bedroom. Also a fourth bedroom is located in the tower with a third full bath nearby. A full kitchen with dishwasher and large fridge with ice maker and water dispenser, dining area for six and bar counter for two off the kitchen, a second living room flex space and a 3 piece bath. Mounted TV’s are in both front living room and flex spaces. The large lower deck has lots of seating and a dining area with BBQ also guests have the use of the upper sun deck with fire table, bbq. The Boat House is set by the water with a fantastic view of the historical Cardigan River. The furnished with comfortable leather lounge seating and is the perfect spot for a glass of wine or scotch to relax and watch the sunset. This space is a spacious area that can be used as a gathering spot away from the main house.
Enjoy a game of golf at PEI’s finest courses then relax by the Cardigan River. Canoes and Kayaks are available for an adventure on the water ONLY at your own risk. The Confederation Trail only minutes away for hiking or biking. Enjoy beautiful sunsets every evening from the Boat House deck. Enjoy swimming in the warm water of the Cardigan River or digging clams.

Great Accomodations

We were amazed at the property. It was clean, tidy, and full of amenities. Donna was terrific helping us out and we would have no concerns staying there again. We will recommend to our friends they should stay there as well. Our entire vacation was awesome and it all started with our stay at this property.

Perfect Place!

We had an excellent stay at Tidewater Lighthouse! The apartment is beautifully furnished and contains everything you need for your holiday. The property itself is gorgeous, overlooking the river. There’s a really nice deck area with bbq and plenty of seating, and the host has thoughtfully provided all of the gear necessary for a day at the beach - chairs, tent, towels, buggy etc. The location is right beside the trail if you like to cycle or hike, and close to so many beautiful beaches. It’s also very close to two major golf courses. Donna was very helpful and accommodating. Overall we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful vacation home.

East coast comfort

We had the best time at the Tidewater Lighthouse, it felt like a home away from home. The rooms, decor and screened in porches were so comfortable and wonderful decorated. The property is very spacious with direct access to a beautiful little beach. This was our first time visiting pei and we already can’t wait to return. We highly recommend staying at this property! Thanks to our Vrbo hosts who were so easy to communicate with and we’re very accommodating to all our needs. Thank you for everything Terry & Donna!

Maison et emplacement de rêve

Superbe maison ,bien équipée pour la cuisine. Site près de la rivière, calme et un pavillon bien meublé pour relaxer et profitez de la vue sur la rivière Cardigan. Plusieurs jeux extérieurs disponible avec foyer et brasero au gaz, très apprécié par les soirées fraiches. Un séjour très apprécié et à y retourner certainement. À 3 minutes de deux merveilleux golfs.
