Great Property, Great Location

This house has a lot of charm and a surprising amount of room for an older home. Everything was clean. The photos and descriptions are all accurate. There are several shops/bars/restaurants just a 5-minute walk to the north and Bradford Beach is a 15-minute walk away. In fact, everything in Milwaukee seems to be just 15 minutes away. Our group enjoyed spending time in the house. It'd also be great for a family with kids who need their own space. The backyard space is perfect for hanging out and enjoying Milwaukee's summer.

Great location!

House is easily walkable to both the beach, and several local restaurants, shops. We walked to dinner every night to one of the restaurants down the street! Home was clean and as advertised.

Sister and Mom getaway

Loved the neighborhood! Short walk to beach, restaurants, bakery and grocery. Historic home very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor gas grill.

Family Get Away

Beautiful home with plenty of room for six adults. Great kitchen and living spaces. Most everything is walking distance (restaurants, bowling, bars and shops). A short drive to the Art museum. Perfect place to have fun it’s the family!

Family Reunion/Memorial Weekend

The house met our needs very well; it was a bit of a challenge for 6 adults to deal with one shower for four days filled with events, but we made it work. All in all, a nice neighborhood, convenient location and comfortable living environment

My husband and I have stayed at 100's of Vrbo over the last 20 years. This place ranks as our worst place we have ever stayed at. We found someone's dirty underwear in the corner of the room, someone else full makeup and tooth brush in bathroom, rotten brats on the grill, moldy utensils in the drawers, broken chairs outside on the patio, weeds as tall as us around the patio outside (nothing like the photo shared online), the ice machine not working, and outlets in the kitchen not working. We were so disappointed. The house location and the beds were comfortable, but the disregard for the rest of the house was disappointing I would never recommend or stay here again.

This rental was in a great location. We appreciated the parking as we had multiple cars and did not need to do any street parking. We could easily Lyft to all of our locations for a resonable price. The house was clean and had great space for 4 couples. The 1.5 bathrooms wasn't ideal, but we made it work.The 3 star rating was due to a few factors. The rental company and host was not good with communication. We never received any check in info and had to call to get the access code. The same thing happened for check out. We never received ANY contact.The house had a few beach towels to use that were not in great shape. They were placed on an end table in the family room and not easy to find. The toilet paper rolls in the bathroom were 1/4 full and no paper towel was in the kitchen. I was glad once we located the extra rolls in a bottom cupboard in ther kitchen. Just seemed like an odd place for toilet paper when there were many places to store in the bathroom. The 2 bathrooms were out of hand soap. We never found any replacements. And the host was not responsive.The house was nice, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the outside space and had plenty of seating inside. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. I was surprised by the lack of communication and found it frustrating along with poor towels and supplies. If these issues were fixed I would give it a better rating.
