Great house for a relaxing stay

This was an excellent house with great amenities. The game room was perfect for entertainment, the openness and decks were great for relaxing, and the communication was excellent! We are thankful for our stay and will use this place again if we go back to Canyon Lake!

A few friends and I booked this house to stay for the weekend with our kiddos. We had 4 adults and 6 kids! This house was more than accommodating for us. It had everything we needed and more. It was clean and well kept.

Beautiful Place

This was a amazing house, very spacious for our family of 6. The view from the deck was beautiful and the deer came up every evening and some mornings. The area was easy to get to and not to far from New Braunfels. Definitely worth the stay

Great experience

Amazing experience, very clean and accommodating. Perfect location. The back porch was great for hanging out with friends and family. Definitely would rent again.

Great house!

We had a great stay at your house. It was roomy, clean and the game room was perfect for our teenaged kiddos. My husband and I loved having our morning coffee on the rooftop deck. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Can’t wait to visit again!

Fabulous Home

We stayed at the house for a wedding. It was 4 adults and 5 kids. We had plenty of space to spread out. The house was clean and very cozy. The kids enjoyed the arcade machine and hot tub in the evenings. There is an extra fridge and freezer in the garage that we did not know was there. It was perfect for our “drink fridge”. The house is on a corner with not much traffic. The kids were able to run around outside and feed the deer without us worrying.

Great location to visit local attractions

We had 4 adults and 4 children stay at the house. The sleeping arrangement was perfect for our number. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook dinner at the house 2 nights. The hot tub, outdoor TV, and outdoor speakers we perfect for enjoying the evenings over the fire pit and watching the wildlife. We went to Six Flags one day, only a 50 minute drive from the house. After Six Flags, we went to the Riverwalk for dinner and to see the Christmas lights. The drive into New Braunfels was about 20 minutes. We spent 1 day exploring the town and had the ABSOLUTE BEST meal at McAdoo’s (reservations highly encouraged). We plan to come back this summer to enjoy the lake!

Clean house. Great views. Close to everything.

My family of 4 plus my parents stayed at The Lookout At Canyon Lake. The house was very clean. I personally loved how the light switches and cabinets were labeled so we didn’t have a guessing game of what’s what. There were also several built in nightlights which made it easy to see at night coming in. The laundry room had a cabinet for pool towels which was nice to not have to use bath towels for the hot tub. My husband and kids loved the retro arcade machine and pool table upstairs! We went into Gruene (15-20 min drive)for the day. We had fun shopping, exploring history, and dining. We plan to come back in the summer!

Girls weekend!

We had a great time for girls weekend! There were 9 in our group. We enjoyed the hot tub one night and played games on the large table on the deck the second night. Although initially the place had not been cleaned when we got there, we contacted the owner who immediately called the cleaning crew and they came right over and cleaned the house. The house is clean and modern, all major appliances worked, and there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, spices, utensils, towels, linens, etc. There is a large deck with a fire pit, and two smaller decks/patios that have a beautiful lake view. Thank you for sharing your house with us for a lovely weekend!

Great vacation pad!

My family (myself, husband, 2 children, and 2 of our children’s friends) had the best vacation. We had a Kroger grocery delivery the night we got in so we didn’t have to fight the summer crowd at the store. It was such a time saver! The house was very clean, well stocked, and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding! Schlitterbahn was less than a 30 min drive from the house. We packed a cooler full of food and drinks for the day, it was perfect! The boat ramp by the house is closed so we enjoyed driving down and hanging out in the lake in the evenings. The deer are very friendly and at carrots, watermelon, and strawberries straight from the kids hands! We can’t wait to return to the house.

I enjoyed that there were several different sleeping arrangements. They do only supply you with a starter kit; one toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and one trash bag. We left extra trash bags we had bought for the next guest! It would have been great if this house was able to add a pool. The only complaint I have about this home is that the floors did not feel entirely clean when we arrived. The bottom of our feet started to become dirty and black pretty quick.

Great for Families

The setup of the house was awesome. We got a lot of use out of the game room and all of the outdoor spaces. The hot tub is a little small. Beds were comfy, and there were plenty of indoor and outdoor towels. There was no body soap, only a little bit of shampoo and conditioner (not the best quality). The trash outside was already overflowing, so we couldn't do much to make the situation better. The things we didn't like: - wasps (dead and alive in the home and several nests on the upper balcony attached to the game room).-kitchen stuff is a weird mix with nice plates and drinkware, but the glass cutting boards are weird, knives not great, I had to get creative when I needed a baking sheet, there wasn't a dish scrub or cloth to keep up with non-dishwasher items.Overall, we enjoyed the place. The lake can be best viewed from the top balcony, but there's a lot of tree coverage, so you can't see too much of the lake.

Beautiful, Spacious Home

This was a beautiful property near Canyon Lake. My family and I came to spend the weekend and celebrate birthdays. We did not go to Canyon Lake; we simply spent the weekend playing pool, poker, arcade games and relaxing in the hot tub. We cooked food for six in the well stocked kitchen all weekend! My only frustration with the stay had nothing to do with the property. It took me forever to find the check in and check out instructions because the property manager, VRBO sent different confirmations and emails. I wish that could be better streamlined. I had to download apps for both and still couldn't find info when I needed it.

Relaxing and Bonding Weekend

My girl scout troop rented the property to celebrate earning the Bronze Award. Covid years were difficult to spend quality time together. This location was perfect. The girls got to enjoy the lake and spend time hanging out in the house. Very fun weekend!

Nice quiet retreat

Everything was nice however we were disappointed we couldn’t use the hot tub as it was very dirty.

Beautiful home. Close to so much!

My family (husband, myself, and 3 children) loved our getaway. The house was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked to cook and make drinks. The kids had a blast with the retro arcade machine, playing pool, and PlayStation (we brought both our consoles from home and it was perfect as there were 2 shelf’s by the TV’s in the game room).We enjoyed feeding carrots to the deer in the evening- a few even ate straight from our hands! The side yard was plenty big enough to park our side by side jet ski trailer. In the evenings we would drive down to Boat Ramp 5 (less than 3 min from the house) and walk down the shore on the right side to have drinks in the lake before dinner. We went to Maven’s Tuesday night and enjoyed Bingo at 6:30. We went into New Braunfels and enjoyed dinner at Muck N Fuss. We will definitely rent this house again next summer!

Great Rental

We loved this gorgeous rental in canyon lake. The house was so updated, spacious and cozy. The kids loved the game room with all amenities. The deck is amazing to look at the deer, grill and enjoy the hot tub. Close to fun restaurants, tubing and the lake. We will definitely be back to enjoy this oasis.

Spotless home with amazing deck and location.

What an amazing stay. Beautiful home in perfect condition and awesome location. Stayed weekend of July 4th with my extended family of 12. We were able to park our boat hooked to truck next to driveway and still had room for another 3 vehicles in driveway. Launched boat every day and had no issues parking at ramp. Our first time on Canyon Lake and could not believe how blue the water was. Mornings spent with coffee and view of lake, evenings grilling on back deck- kids loved gameroom and stayed up way to late playing pool and classic arcade games with their cousins. What an awesome place, will be back soon-Thanks again
