Whether you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life or simply need a base to explore the beautiful Far North we would like to offer you our humble little abode ‘THE BACH’. Relaxed environment overlooking the harbor still awaiting some cosmetic touches however fully functional, self contained with 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom and offering sleeping arrangements for up to five people.

Located centrally with under 30kms to both Kaitaia and Pukenui townships and only a short 4kms from the crystal clear waters and white sands of stunning East Beach, an aquatic playground for all to enjoy.

Quiet and peaceful

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. We are from Auckland so coming here was a great escape from the hustle and bustle. Would stay here again.

Great stay!

Very fine place, we would have liked to stay for a few time longer. In that case, we would have liked a little bit more equipment in the kitchen, I. e a real table and chairs.

Perfect Family Getaway in the Far North!

Fantastic holiday home! It had everything we needed, even to keep the kids (8 and 12) entertained on a rainy day. The attention to detail was impressive, making it super comfortable and stress-free. A perfect spot if you’re visiting the far, far north – highly recommend!

We had wonderful two days at The Bach. Kristy made us feel very welcome and the place was fantastic. The beds are confortable, the litchen is stocked, and the location right next to the ocean is fantastic. Couldn't ask for more. :)

A beautiful spot who would have known. So glad it was the holidays with accommodation being so hard to get at such short notice but we were so lucky to secure this little hide away with such a terrific hostess by the name of Kirsty. Thank you so much for going to all the effort to make us feel so welcome and helping us out of an awkward predicament. Peaceful and quiet with great accommodation. Enjoyed beautiful sunrise breakfast out on the front deck before heading off to explore Cape Reinga.

Such a cute little place in a great location!

We loved staying here. The location was great, nice and peaceful with some lovely beaches nearby. Only a short drive away from shops with some easy dinner options. The bach was clean and tidy and the beds were nice and comfy. If we're up this way in the future, we'll definitely stay here again!

Quiet hilltop getaway

Lovely tidy 2 bedroom cottage with beautiful views. It had all we needed for a very comfortable stay, a quick visit from the lovely owner to check we were all settled and had all we needed, and very comfy beds!

Quiet place for relaxing in a beautiful area.

Kirsty gave us a very warm welcome. We had a lovely stay in that quiet place in such a beautiful area. We had everything we needed and Kirsty was always ready to help.
