Bugs Beach…. So many bugs
Upon arriving to Boss Beach… we were greeted with stifling heat and lots of dead and alive bugs on the floor! The air conditioning unit was not working! The air filter was received from the return in an attempt to change the airflow and it was filthy dirty and in need of being changed. Service was provided to fix the AC relatively quickly on the night of check in… but the bugs vacationed with us for the entire week!
The older home has a soft pillowy mold/mildew in every window. For some reason, every remote was missing the batteries as well as the wall clocks. The windows in the sunroom didn’t close or didn’t close easily…. Leaving the space wet and unusable after a storm on day 3 of the trip. Did I mention the giant bugs that crawled out from under the fridge each night and then died on the kitchen floor for my toddler aged son to find each morning.
The best thing about this house was the proximity to the beach, it was super close. The kitchen was also well stocked with cookware, etc.
Otherwise the house is in desperate need of some significant renovations and additional pest control measures.
