Stewart Family Cabin by Face Lake

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for making fun memories. Enjoy the beautiful nature of the great outdoors, kayak in the lake, catch some trout, roast a marshmallow, walk, hike, ATV, dirt bike or enjoy a book lounging outside or curled up at the fireplace. This is a beautiful family cabin with all the modern touches but located nestled away in the forest near Face Lake. You can curl up by the wood burning fireplace or sit on the wrapped around porch enjoying the forest view with a warm cup of coffee. There are so many family games to play you won’t be able to decide. The outdoors are beautiful sitting by a campfire or down at the lake (250m down the wide open trail downhill). The lake is stocked so fishing is amazing and when frozen you can skate and play hockey. ATV/dirt bike trails are right out the door. The stars are so bright at night it’s just brilliant.

Amazing stay

It was as amazing stay, we had all we would expect from a house and even more. It was perfect even in small details like propane, spices, coffee capsules ... We would definitely go to this house again and recommend it to our friends.

Cozy cabin in the woods

First time staying in Logan Lake,, property had everything that we needed and offered that much desired cozy cabin in the woods feel. Definitely would recommend!

Awesome place for family gatherings

We booked Diana’s place as it provided enough room for our mini family reunion. The cabin was awesome for group gatherings and if you needed privacy. Its well equipped appliances are upto date. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and used the supplied row boat to do some fishing. Lake it s well stocked as we were able to catch 3 good size rainbow trout. We highly recommend booking Diana’s cabin. We look forward to booking again in the future. Thank you so much Diana, my family and I enjoyed our stay.

Great place, great host

It's a really nice place in a great area. The house was very clean with all possible amenities. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend. Wish we stayed longer.

A beautiful stay in a very comfortable house!

The four of us had a great stay here. The host was very responsive and the house is set up with everything you need to enjoy yourself. A great bbq. Wood burning fireplace, comfortable living room and beds. Would come back without question. Highly recommended!

Clean and comfortable

The place was clean, spacious, well-equipped and thoughtfully decorated. Host was quick to respond to questions before arrival and provided detailed information to ensure the most hassle-free check-in/ check-out. We enjoyed a comfortable stay and amazing experience overall!

October retreat

An absolute hidden gem, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend family getaway. The home has all the modern amenities you could ask for, but also a rustic charm that lends itself to the beautiful surroundings. We hope to stay again sometime!

Family fun

Great place ! Fully stocked with everything we could have forgotten. Sharon had children’s snacks set up for us on arrival which was so thoughtful. Lake was a short walk away and we all had a great time. Thanks Sharon !

Friends getaway

This house was the perfect home away from home! Everything was there to make memories- a very well equipped kitchen, lovely decorated rooms, wood burning fireplace, entertainment for kids and adults! The host ist very responsive- and we really appreciated the little welcome snack box!

We Had A Good Time

Everything was great and as advertised!! The attention to detail was much appreciated!! From the goodie basket and bottle of wine to the baskets of extra toiletries in the bathrooms, everything you can think of and more is provided for a family of any size and age ranges!! Communication with the host was also excellent and much appreciated!!

Amazing cabin

The cabin was such a delight. Warm, clean, perfectly equipped for all of us. We had trouble finding the right cabin though and we had no cell phone reception there, so we end up asking some people and connecting to their wifis. Everyone was very nice in the area too! The cabin is located very close to the lake, it’s just a short walk of 5-8 min or 3 min sledding in winter! The lake was frozen and it was a lot of fun!

Perfect getaway

Wow, what a week!! This cabin was a perfect getaway for our family of 5 adults and 2 dogs…with room to spare! It was just a short 3 minute walk to the lake, great fishing, awesome yard for the dogs, very clean and well stocked with everything you need!! The wood burning fireplace was perfect to take the chill out of the air in the morning and the selection for tv options were a great way to end the day! We are hoping this won’t be our last visit!! Thank you for the memories!!

Great Home, Property and Location

Really enjoyed our stay at this home in the woods. Well thought out touches in the home and great use of space in and around the house. Woke up to a couple mornings of snow, but the house was always at a nice temperature. With the fire in the fireplace clearly visible through the clean glass, it made the place even more inviting. The Kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms were very clean. Bedrooms were all nicely furnished and spread out throughout the home. Many thanks to the owner for her quick communications and preparing the home for us for a short interruption of a scheduled water servicing being performed on the mains to all the homes in the area. The water service didn't effect our stay at all.

Perfect family getaway!!

This is cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing fun time. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen plus the dishwasher eased the family dinner time. We loved the use of the kayaks, the kids caught fish which we cooked on the bbq! They had lots of games and books plus we had a nice campfire. We lived in luxury in the wilderness. The beauty of our surrounds exceeded our expectations and the neighbours were so friendly when we met them at the dock. There were a few dirt bikers around so next time we will bring our quad! The Host was always available my messages and very helpful and friendly. The cabin was very clean with lots of personal touch’s. It was so welcoming. We will definitely come back again!

Cabin was great but lack of dock was disappointing

We had a larger group of people come to stay for a week of fishing / family time. When we booked it was advertised as having a dock. We were informed two days before going that there is no dock only once I reached out after seeing another guests review. This made it very hard for the seniors and children in our group to fish. We resorted to renting a boat from the resort ( cost 155 a full day because they would not rent to us unless we booked a campsite as well) we were instructed by the owner to have kids use swimming dock but it was way to far away with no ladder to help kids or seniors get on. The tv was broken when we arrived and the owner had it replaced on day 3 of 7. Which we very much appreciated. We appreciated the owner / care takers follow up to tv but would have booked somewhere else if we knew there was not a dock for our party to fish off of as it was just to hard for the young kids & the elderly. If you are young fit and able it’s the perfect fishing escape, we caught some great sized rainbows.

Christmas Get-Away

Beautiful, well equipped home. As we were not going to be home for Christmas I decorated but did not put up our tree. What a wonderful surprise to come in to a fully decorated Christmas tree and even a couple of gifts for us. Friendly neighbours and a short walk to the lake made for a great trip.

Paradise by the lake

This cabin is absolutely incredible. Diana has thought of everything and then some. It has all the charm of a cabin in the middle of the country with many high tech touches like an air fryer oven, Nespresso machine and (our kids favourite) the electronic garbage can haha. We were 2 families (4 adults, with kids 2, 3, 4 & 5 yrs old) and a dog and there was more than enough space and activities to keep us all entertained. The morning was so quiet that all I could hear was the loons calling down at the lake. The goodies & card Diana left for us made my kiddos feel so special and there are SO many games, toys, books, etc that there was not a dull moment. The lake is a quick 2 min walk down the path next to the house and the wheel rack for the kayaks made it easy to bring down to the lake to enjoy. We can not recommend this cabin anymore. I feel so lucky that we were there as the campfire ban ended as the kids were thrilled to end our long weekend with roasted marshmallows and cozy time around the fire. Diana was quick to communicate with us whenever we had a question and you can tell they really love this cabin. We will definitely be booking again!

This cabin is the perfect family getaway to visit, play games and relax. This is a beautiful area to enjoy the outdoors and fantastic fishing. This is a stocked lake. Our children caught their first fish at Face Lake. ATV or snowmobile right from the cabin.
