We had such a great stay. Great location, beach, balcony, pool with clean pool bathroom. Some cosmetic flaws in the room but maintenance and housekeeping both were readily available and checked in if anything would have been a problem. We prefer experience over perfection. So this was just perfect for us.

Management company, check in and out went well but the unit is in great need of refurbishing. Furniture: beds, pillows, chairs, kitchen supplies, doors, and bathroom need replacement. The patio doors were so hard to open and close needed helped getting them open while on the deck. Deck chairs are good but outdoor dining set needed. Location of the complex is great, pool clean but several pool loungers are broken and need replacement.

Perfect beachfront

This was a perfect property for my sister and I to relax and spend a week. The beach and nightly sunsets were amazing! Not too crowded - which is what we were looking for. Condo was a bit under supplied - no hand towels or washcloths, garbage bags, hand soap, etc.... Overall a great location and relaxing week.

Jennifer, Thank you for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed the sunsets from Chateaux 501. I wish we had known that you didn't have hand towels or wash cloths. We would have brought them to you as soon as we knew. Please feel free to give us a call while in house so that we can take care of those types of things. We do supply a small starter pack with garbage bags and hand soap, but it is not enough to get through the week. Our confirmation email states that our condos are self service for those types of items. We do hope to welcome you back to Indian Shores soon. Plumlee Gulf Beach Realty

Amazing views, wonderful area

What an incredible find...beautiful, sweeping views of the gulf over quiet, uncrowded sugar-sand beaches that are right at your feet. Amazing dining so close at Villa Galace, superb coffee at Indian Shores Coffee only steps away, and bangin' fried pickles down the road at Broken & Board! If you work out, Beachfront Fitness is only a couple of miles away and it's a STEAL at 32/week for a pass. All in all - this place is awesome...don't you dare take my slot for next year!

Great trip

We enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy. Our condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, etc. The unit could use some updating (like replacing the carpet and leather chairs). The view of the sunsets from the balcony was amazing! Would have liked to have more than a tiny table and 2 chairs on the huge balcony. Would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing!

Best vacation spot! We fell in love with the city. There are many things to do, whether it be on the beach, that's accessible from the Condominiums, restaurants are close, as well as places for family activities, such as mini golf. The condo was really nice, all essentials were provided, but it could be a bit more updated, nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay, especially the ocean view, the sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends. Can't wait to go back!

Elevator Issue

We had a great stay and very pleasant neighbors on the property! Nice beach access and decent condo. Could use some more kitchen supplies and update the living room tv but overall decent stay. The only complaint was that at the time of booking it stated nothing about the elevator being down so my 6month pregnant wife and I had to climb up and down 5 flights of stairs. Had we known about the elevator issues we would have chosen a different location, however after talking with plumee that did issue a discount that eased the pain a little!

Gorgeous view; very spacious

For a one-bedroom condo, this place felt very spacious. It was very clean and the view was absolutely gorgeous. The decor is a bit outdated, especially the bathroom. But we did not let that ruin our stay. Everything was very clean. Please upgrade your beach chairs, and most of them are broken and unusable. Also, the elevator did not have any airflow and made me feel a bit claustrphobic, but that is no fault of this owner/condo. Overall, we were very pleased and I would definitely return to this condo in Inidan Shores.

Great location, great view

Overall we had a very nice stay. The property is well maintained, good location, and in a quiet area. The unit itself needs some TLC - very old carpeting, old uncomfortable beds and furniture, and the bathroom definitely needs a remodel. The management company was helpful and responsive, but we didn’t really need much. I didn’t like having to go to the office the next day to “complete check in” because we arrived later in the evening. I also did not like that all of the beach equipment, even pool towels, had to be rented, but that was clear in the rental agreement so we knew what we were getting to

October Beach Week

As always my husband and I loved our stay at a Chateaux condo. Consistent quality in all units. The view from our corner room defies description. Simply amazing. The living room furniture and the beds were quite comfortable. The only improvement I would offer is that other condos at Chateaux have all had at least 2 beach chairs and an umbrella available in the condo and a few staples in the cabinets such as salt, pepper, a few basic seasonings and coffee filters. Our unit had none of these things. Bottom line - would I stay in that unit again? In a heartbeat!

Amazing views on Indian Shores

My husband and I stayed here for a couple days at the end of December. The views from the condo are excellent. We did want to note that the carpet has been replaced with hard wood which is a nice touch. The reclining chairs are nice to sit in and watch the view. The deck is very nice. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with dishware. We didn't do much cooking but I will note there are very few spices. You will need to purchase these basic things. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of storage for clothing with a dresser and a walk-in closet. The pool was heated at a nice comfortable temperature for this time of the year. No complaints we enjoyed our stay here. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

My happy place

This place is beautiful with amazing views. Spacious and clean. I would definitely rent here again. The outdoor table on the balcony could be updated, many broken straps on seating, no screens on windows and no locks on sliding doors (at least not functional locks) so I was a bit worried. The unit is on the 5th floor so it would be difficult for someone to break into the main balcony but the balcony off the bedroom could be easily accessible to strangers so I would have preferred to be able to lock that door. There were some broken/missing blinds on balcony door. Free bikes aren't available on wkends. There is a coffee maker in the unit but no complimentary coffee as in normal hotels. We were a party of 6 and only left with 6 towels, 1 bag for trash and 2 rolls of toilet paper.. No housekeeping so we had to reuse our towels everyday and go buy more toilet paper. 75% of washers/dryers were out of order or labeled "do not use, stole my money" by other tenants. Overall, this was a great stay and I would come back or recommend to others, just come better prepared. The beach is beautiful here and not overpopulated like other beaches in the area. Mini golf located across the street which the kids enjoyed.

Amy, Thank you for your review. We will take a look at the balcony locks right away. We will also send over your concerns about the balcony furniture to the owner for consideration. We are not a hotel, but we do provided a starter pack in the condo at arrival with a couple rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, and a couple dishwasher tablets. Our condos are self catering, as explained in the confirmation, so we do not restock items throughout the week and cleaning is only provided at the end of your stay. We do put extra towels in the condos that do not have a washer/dryer in the unit and we offer laundry exchange for a small fee. We look forward to welcoming you back to Indian Shores soon.
