Granite Hollow Cabin

At our Off-Grid cabin, you will enjoy plenty of privacy. The cabin sits on a half acre site and includes a separate bathroom bunkie, a firepit, a screened-in gazebo, and parking at the site. Surrounded by 200 acres on a beautiful lake in the Canadian Shield. The property boasts various hiking trails, a private beach just a 5-minute walk from the cabin, a 35-foot waterfall, a multitude of wildlife, and very dark skies allowing for amazing star-gazing. Bird watching is incredible and the song birds with soothe all your senses. Kayaks available.

The Cabin and space was just what we needed. The hosts were great. Very communicative, and they had all the little touches covered. Private, quiet getaway and beautiful property. Well plan to come back.

We really enjoyed the cabin and the area surrounding it. The cabin and the amenities served our purposes well. It was very clean and well organized. I appreciated that the hosts welcomed us even though our arrival was later in the day.

Well Secluded

Had a fantastic stay here with a friend and my 2 dogs. Very secluded and quiet, didn't see another soul the entire time we were there. The dogs were able to stay off leash the entire time, including walks to the beach and when hiking. Great place to get away from it all, we would love to come back.

Rejuvenation

Well maintained property with a cozy small cabin for extra long sleeps and a gazebo for eating and relaxing, We found this to be a lovely place to stay while checking out the parks in the area for hiking, swimming and canoeing. We enjoyed a rejuvenating week. Thanks!

Host were great, very friendly and gave us the rundown and then left us for the entire stay to enjoy ourselves. Very private, and nature filled. Had a nice hike to the waterfall, still lovely even though the water wasn’t flowing because of the lack of rain. Spent our evenings in the screened in gazebo listening to the orchestra of frogs and insects. The kitchen was as described, as in had all the essential dishes you need, had a bbq. There’s a good outdoor sink for washing up. We brought a camp stove with us for convenience. The outhouse was probably the nicest I’ve ever been in, and outdoor shower was basic but everything you need. The cabin was quaint, super clean and comfortable.

Beautiful Retreat

Enjoyed staying at this adorable off grid site. It is a perfect place to enjoy some quality time with nature and comforts. The "outhouse" is clean and odorless with a quality compost toilet and pump sink. The outdoor shower screened in picnic table and private beach and trails set this above! Would highly recommended staying here and would absolutely book it again. The hosts are friendly and keep it a private place to stay but remain available if you need. 10/10

Fun in the heat wave

Hosts are very welcoming and show you everything and thought of everything. Very private with large grassy yard My golden doodle had a blast playing fetch and being off leach. We played bocce ball and enjoyed the fire pit as well as the lit screened in picnic table in the evening. Cabin is compact but windows let in a wee breeze. The kayaks were the highlight, kayaking to the waterfall. Happy, relaxing time 😎🐶

This property is neat and tidy. My family had a great time. A lot of wildlife to see. The solar lights and screened in eating area really made the nights so much better with the fire ban. We could still enjoy the outside and played games. The lake is so clean - we had little fish nibbling our ankles! Too weedy for us for swimming, but we all dipped in! Lounging and looking at the water was really peaceful. No complaints! Super private. Great hosts.

Enjoy a true Canadian wilderness adventure. Plenty of wildlife, birds, hiking trails through the forest, a waterfall, private sandy beach accessible to only guests on the property. This property boasts a lot of privacy, tranquility, is quiet and peaceful, yet close to all your shopping needs. The cabin site is spacious and is landscaped with groomed grass and flowers. Parking is available at the cabin site. The roads through the property are easily accessible to all vehicles.
