Lovely Home

Our family had a great time at this lovely home. The kids favorite part was of course, the pool. The property is easy to get to, far away from big city life, but still in driving distance to the San Marcos outlets or even Austin.

Sun and fun!

Fantastic location, easy drive from the airport (a little over 30 minutes) and within a ~10 minute drive to tons of shops and restaurants yet is nestled in a quiet and private location and neighborhood. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable (which can be difficult to find in a rental!), kitchen huge and fully equipped, multiple dining areas, comfy living room with smart tv. But the star of the show for us was the private back deck with pergola and pool. So nice to wake up and sit outside listening to the birds and relaxing in and alongside the pool and hot tub. Coming from a long winter in the upper peninsula of Michigan, the sun, soft breezes, relaxation and great Texas food were just what we needed before returning for another couple months of snow.

Staycation success

My girlfriend and I wanted to get out of town for Labor Day weekend and relax for a bit and this was everything we asked for.

Wonderful weekend getaway

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our weekend here. We loved the pool and hot tub. We had a blast! This is a very clean and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. We can't wait to come back again in the future.

Rural with accessibility

The perfect place away from the city, while still be close to all the places you might need or want in Bastrop, TX. This property worked perfect for my needs and the host was great at communicating and working with me when i needed to extend my stay.

Restful and Relaxing

The property was beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. The location was perfect - out in the country but not too far from Bastrop. The pool was sparkling and refreshing. My husband and I had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back.

Gifted Pines

This is a beautiful home in a secluded location. Pool and hot tub are great amenities! Closing to golf course, state park for hiking and historic Bastrop and Smithville. We hope to return soon!

Great Place to Stay

Enjoyed our time here and met our needs for a long weekend vacation. My kids lived in the pool the whole time and we had plenty of outdoor space to sit and watch. Everything (literally) was labeled inside which made it so easy to find or figure out stuff. We were also less than 10 from Bastrop so getting food from either a grocery store or delivered was a breeze. So glad we were able to book the space when we did.

Great pool and home!

We had a wonderful weekend relaxing in the pool and hot tub. The park is so close and easy to get to. Far enough out of town to see great stars at night but close enough that getting groceries was easy. The hosts thought of everything and it made our stay so easy!

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful home, off the beaten path. Peaceful!! Loved listening to the birds on the amazing patio deck. The hot tub was fabulous. We had a great weekend! Would totally recommend it for relaxing and unwinding.

We usually stay here at the same time every year. We’ve become friends with the host to where we would text each other throughout the year! She’s a lovely host and a wonderful person! If you like peace and quiet with scenery. This is the spot. We even saw a family of Deere at night wondering around her property. We look forward to coming again next year. Hopefully a little sooner in august so we can enjoy the pool when it’s warm! Thank you Miss Cordelia!!! See you again next year!!

Great Stay in Smithville

We had a great vacation just hanging out by the pool. with our granddaughters. The 2 bedroom house was just the right size with an amazing kitchen, pool and hot tub area. We did notice quite a bit of pet hair on some of the outside pool furniture. We also received a text upon arrival that one of the toilets was "hard to flush". It was actually a broken linkage between the plunger and the handle. It was not that big of an issue and since no-one was sent to fix it, we made the best of it. I do recommend this place for a great get away.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, comfortable, and welcoming everything was. The property was even better than we expected from the photos and description.One of our favorite things about this home was how incredibly quiet and peaceful it was. We were able to truly relax, unwind, and get some of the best rest we’ve had in a long time. The peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable.The home was well-maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and provided plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy our time together. It truly felt like a home away from home.The owners were friendly, responsive, and made the entire rental process easy and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to staying here again in the future. Highly recommend!

Cute and comfortable

The house is very clean however I was most impressed with how much the homeowner thought through guest needs. Very organized, labeled and relaxing. I was on a business trip and wanted to enjoy the countryside to escape the corporate pace for a couple days. Highly recommend.
