We’re so glad you enjoyed the spot! The security deposit is a pre-authorisation on your card, taken 48 hours before check-in. It’s released once the property has been checked for damage, extra cleaning or excess rubbish. Yours was released in full the 18th Oct 2026. Details are in the listing, booking confirmation and Guest Portal, but we’re always happy to answer questions.

Lovely week away - gorgeous views - beach easy walking distance.Quiet and relaxing. Lukes Kitchen great place for a meal. Whitianga not far.

The house lived up to its name! Hosts were welcoming and responsive to questions and quick to address any concerns. A perfect pace to reconnect with family.

Wow!

The name of the house says it all. Amazing views, well equipped, short walk down to the beach. We loved our time here. Would easily accommodate 2 families with the rumpus room set up downstairs for the kids.

Beyond WOW!

Staying at the "Wow" house was beyond WOW! Mark was very helpful before our trip with places to go and things to do during our stay. When we arrived at the house for our Christmas holiday, Mark and Serena had put up a Christmas tree with tinsel and lights for us! WOW! And that view? Honestly, it is incredibly peaceful gazing out their picture glass windows. Our family had a wonderful time and can't thank Mark and Serena enough for their hospitality! We give the "Wow House" Fifteen stars out of five!!!!!

So much more than Wow!

The photos dont do it justice and there are so many words to describe the views. We were blessed with beautiful warm, sunny days and we spent hours moving between decks to take in the spectacular scenery. Having a BBQ was great as we were there for some nights when Luke’s Kitchen wasnt open, what an asset to a spectacular place. We had long walks on several local beaches and time just flew past. The stars at night were truly amazing as well. We have moved on to another part if beautiful NZ but I am missing this already, its just super special and full credit to the owners for a stunningly designed house with so many creature comforts. Cant wait to return and stay longer.

We were Wow'd at the Wow House!

Amazing views and great separate areas for adults / kids. Incredible stargazing too. Very warm and cosy house for a winter escape. The owner was super helpful with any questions we had.
