Magical Viceroy cottage on peaceful Oudaze Lake, located in Perry Township in Muskoka, close to the gorgeous town of Huntsville! This cozy rustic cottage is a perfect place for family and friends getaway! A scenic 2.5 hour drive from the GTA! Conveniently located just minutes’ drive to Highway 11 and Novar for gas and groceries. Very short drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park.

This stunning half an acre property offers the perfect balance of mature trees, rocky backdrop and picturesque lake! Nested deep in the woods, 105 feet of South facing shoreline, sunny exposure for all day sun, sandy shoreline with shallow & gradual entry wonderful for children. This calm lake is ideal for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, boating and other water activities! Parking space for 3 vehicles off the private cottage laneway.

Beautiful 2-bedroom chalet style cottage featuring bright and open living room with cathedral ceiling, dinning area, cozy woodstove, lots of natural light and jaw dropping views of the lake, all from the comfort of your couch. A well-equipped kitchen with granite countertop, large & small appliances, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, baking dishes and many more for guests who love to cook. Pedestal fans, Baseboard heating, Smart TV, Wifi. One bedroom with king bed, second bedroom with queen bed, and living room with queen sofa bed.


Spacious deck with dinning & lounging furniture to sit back and relax with family & friends or to enjoy a cup of coffee with a good book in a private & tranquil setting. Rear of the property has a lovely stone patio area on one side and a fire pit area on the other side to enjoy those cooler evenings!

Fantastic Stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Capri. The cottage was everything we were hoping for. Perfectly located right on a nice, quiet lake. The cottage was nicely laid out with a great view of the lake. The cottage was beautifully renovated and very comfortable. Would definitely go back.

We had the BEST time at this rental! It's close enough to Huntsville in case you want to go golfing or do any shopping but remote enough to that you truly feel like you're getting away. The lake is beautiful and not super crowded. The cottage was clean and inviting and the property owner was quick to respond if/when we needed something.If we can, we'll be back next year for sure.

The cottage was in a beautiful setting and was spotless and very well appointed. The lake was serene and quiet, with easy access to the water. The host was always available. We encountered a small problem, which was immediately responded to.

Peaceful Lakefront Getaway at Villa Capri

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Capri! If you're looking for a quiet, private lake to kayak, canoe, or paddleboard, this is the perfect spot. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock and playing in the water, which had a pleasantly sandy bottom—much better than the typical mucky walk-in. The home was spotless and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The cottage was almost everything we were looking for. It was well equipped, comfortable and had delightful views and physical situation. One drawback was, the water depth off the dock was quite shallow and not terribly well suited for swimming. And, the one kayak was a single so going for a paddle together wasn’t possible. But otherwise it was a really pleasant stay.

Wonderful weekend away

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The checkin process was seamless and all information we needed was in the guide provided. Host had great communication as well along the way. Warm and calm lake, perfect for a relaxing weekend!

Beautiful cottage on the water

We had a great stay on Oudaze Lake. The cottage is very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed being surrounded by nature in a quiet beautiful area close to amenities. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back.

Beautiful Cottage on the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay. This place gave us all what we want. Serene, quiet and beautiful. Place was very clean. Kitchen had everything we need. Access to the lake was very easy for the kids. Lake is swimmable and if you love fishing this is the place for it. Overall the stay was great. Thank you for hosting us! Definitely will recommend this place.

Lovely cottage lovely lake

We loved the views and the easy access to the lake - sandy bottom - and dock. The cottage featured amazing views of the lake in the open concept living/dining/kitchen area. Fireplaces indoors and out. Clean, comfy furniture and all the implements you could ever need in the kitchen. And our hosts were very accommodating. We will definitely go back!!!!!

It checked all our boxes!

Villa Capri was the perfect size for my family's stay. The property was clean, the water access was great for swimmers of all skill levels, and the lake was sandy and smooth. There's plenty of functional outdoor space to really enjoy outside and the views from the living room and kitchen were lovely. Being a short drive outside of Huntsville, I found the lake less busy and the property quieter than other stays I've had in the Muskoka area, which was a nice bonus.

Wonderful lakefront property.

Myself, my husband and my 95 year old mother had a wonderful 3 night stay at this wonderful lakefront property. All of us enjoyed swimming in the easy access lake with sandy bottom. We had a terrific campfire by the lake while listening to the loons. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the views were stunning. The deck and dock were well used. If you want to go on the lake you do need to bring your own water toys. Great stay.

Very nice peaceful area and beautiful cottage

Cottage was great, well stocked, except for a coffee maker. Very peaceful, quiet lake and the host was quick to respond to any questions. Only issue is that we were told 2 days prior to leaving that they had removed the portable fire pit and that we could not have a fire, even though the fire ban had been lifted. Having a campfire is one of experiences we look forward to when renting a cottage and I feel they should not have removed the pit before checking with us. We are the type that would have had a fire every night and unfortunately we could not do that.

A Piece of Paradise

We cannot wait to go back. This cottage was truly a gem find! The views of the lake from the deck, gazebo and even from the living room sofa were breathtaking. With huge floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the lake, whether you were in the kitchen or the living room, the view was always stunning. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The cottage was pristine and very comfortable - from a well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, plenty of hot water for a shower, a fire pit, wood stove and a surprisingly large and well stocked grocery store in nearby Novar, there is nothing we lacked. The owners provided everything we could possibly need. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful, relaxing lake and forest experience, this cottage is truly the place to be. The owners made every effort to make our stay enjoyable and provided a fabulous welcome gift of wine and chocolate. We are so grateful they shared their piece of paradise with us and we can't wait to go back. Prepare to be amazed!

Perfect place

This place is spectacular. Clean, organized and has everything you need. Bedding and towels were great. Furniture seems new and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. SO MUCH gorgeous natural lighting and a beautiful view from the lake from inside. The lake is VERY quiet and private. I spent 3 nights and saw 2 fishing boats the entire time. Fishing on this lake is great (off the dock) Cuisinart coffee maker and you can set the time to auto brew (this was heaven). I spent my mornings journaling under the gazebo (we had a rainy weekend) by the water with my coffee. Listening to the birds, watching the loons and Lily pads that bloom. Again… heaven. There are beautiful flowers around the property. Cottages are close-by but you can’t see them. Villa Capri has lots of privacy. The water is really shallow around the dock and shoreline. We came up on a cold rainy weekend so we had to turn the heat on one evening. The Cottage warmed up really fast and was super comfortable. Appliances are all relatively new and clean. Wifi was great! The hosts were great and helpful and we actually didn’t need to reach out to them during our stay for anything because everything is so organized! The only thing I think would be a great add-on / bonus would be a canoe, kayak or paddle boat. All in all, I’m sad I had to leave. We loved our time so much and can’t wait to come back.

Amazing cottage

It was a wonderful experience spending. a few days at this wonderful place. The view was amazingly beautiful. The cottage is perfectly clean. The location is just a peace of heaven. It had all the utensils we needed. The heating system was great. I definitely recommend this place to everyone and hopefully I will rent it again soon.
