The house is central to just about everything you would want to be doing in Amish Country. There's room for 8 and two cars. We were very comfortable in the house with 5 of us. The kitchen is well equipped although we only made tea while we were there. You can hear horse and buggies clip clopping along in the evening and early morning. Some might not like that, but we did. Above all else, the location is the best. Minutes from Millers, Bird-in-Hand, The Strausburg Rail Road, Site and Sound, etc.

There was no spatula to turn the fried eggs…six pairs of tongs but no spatula. There were on tea towels to wipe the dishes.dish draining tray was very dirty but I cleaned it.There was no shower/ bath body wash or shampoo.Downstairs toilet door does not close properly

Location, location, location…this is the best part of this property. Our girls’ weekend in the area was perfect with this rental and the weather! We couldn’t ask for more. The quaint clip-clop of horse drawn buggies going by was excellent. All that we wanted to do was such a short drive away. The house was comfortable and well arranged for our needs.

Great stay!

This was a great house! It was very clean and had so many nice touches (plenty of towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.). It had plenty of kids utensils too! Our kids loved staying on the top floor in their own space, and they loved the games and puzzles. Though it was a bit loud, sound machines worked great while sleeping, and we all loved watching the horse and buggies go by. We would definitely stay here again!

Ronks Visit

Nice job of remodeling an older home. Adequate for what was needed for our trip.Maybe the time of the year... Spring... but you may spray for insects inside. We did see and eliminate a good many bugs and spiders.Thanks for the stay!

Perfect location for an Amish stay

A lovely renovated home this house was spotless when we entered, there were a lot of thoughtful amenities that most stays seem to forget. The house was perfectly located to get to Bird in Hand /Strasburg Railway /Kettle Village. We absolutely loved our stay. If I had one item I wish improved it was that I had no response from the rental manager to the couple of questions I asked when I first booked nor during my stay. This did not subtract from a great stay in a great little house.

Three night stay

Enjoyed this very clean home. Can hear the horse and buggy on the road out front. A busy road with traffic. Central location to the places we wanted to visit. Home was nicely furnished if sparse. Kitchen had no food wraps of any kind. We cooked breakfast only and dish ware and pans were adequate. Would recommend and stay again.

House is exactly what you see in the ad. Enjoyed our stay very much. Surprised that Road in front of House is a main thoroughfare and noisy. However, we slept well regardless. Centrally located and lots to see.

We enjoyed our stay in Ronks! There was plenty of room for us all— 6 adults, 2 toddlers. Check in was easy and the home was spotless. We were in town for a competition and the location of Karen’s home was perfect. Would stay again! Thank you for hosting us.

Our best vacation ever!!

We had a wonderful time in this house. Decor was simply done. Our host was superb and answered our questions. Couch was a bit uncomfortable and could use a recliner in the corner. We wi definitely stay here again.

It fit great for our party of 6 after we purchased an air bed. It was fun sitting on the porch and watching the Amish horse and buggies go by. We loved Dienners Buffet and great to have it less than two miles away. I’d definitely consider this for our next trip to Lancaster.
