The property is absolutely beautiful. Rob and Sandy were lovely. We had a couple of minor issues arise and Rob remedied them immediately. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Had an amazing stay here. The hosts were super friendly, helpful and so considerate of giving us our space (especially with a reactive dog who wanted to enjoy the river too!) The bed was surprisingly comfortable! The property itself is gorgeous. Will definitely stay again!

The property hosts were very nice and welcoming. The airstream was well looked after with everything needed tucked away in the storage spaces. Bed was super comfortable. The site looking into a garden and over to the river was wonderfully relaxing and cool to swim in as well , on the very hot days. Very pet friendly, our little dog had a great time

This place is like a dream! Gorgeous and peaceful, everything I wanted out of this trip and more, and well worth the price. I would love to stay here again. Rob and Sandy were wonderful hosts, and I’d absolutely recommend their property if you’re looking for a peaceful nature getaway glamping experience.

Rob & Sandy were amazing! We were greeted with a smile, warm welcome and fresh cut wild flowers on our picnic table! The vintage Airstream was roomy, very clean with a comfy bed. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen & shower and the spectacular property & easy access, private riverfront. They were both extremely friendly when we ran into them and provided great info for things to do in the area. Our trailer large area was very private and dog friendly - Hazel (their dog) was a welcome visitor in the morning on occasion. Don't hesitate, just book it. It will not disappoint...

WHAT A GEM! Rob and Sandy are wonderful hosts, and we are so grateful to have experienced their little slice of paradise. We were greeted with a vase of wildflowers on the picnic table, received a tour of the beautiful property and learned all about the interesting history of the area. The classy Airstream was very well stocked, and there are many great amenities like the outdoor shower and kitchen, fire pit area, and floats to paddle up and down the beautiful river. Close enough to town to stop in for dinner, or go to the many local scenic spots. We cannot wait to come back!

This place is magic. I really wanted to go to the Cowichan River because as a child, my mum took me to a place that rented cabins every Mother's Day. We booked this place and when we drove in, it turns out this is the same place! My head almost exploded, as it brought back so many memories. New owners, and the property had been divided years ago, but it was the samw magical place.The AirStream was amazing. Just perfect. The owners are the nicest folks ever and we had a whole side of the property for our dogs, including the river, which is not only stunning, but warm for swimming. I can’t say enough about this place. Thank you!

Rob and Sandy are great hosts and took time to show us around the property. They were patient to answer any questions we had, both before and during about the stay. We enjoyed siting by the river amongst the nature and serenity. I definitely recommend people to stay here and won’t miss a chance to rebook with them.

The property was beautiful and peaceful and everything I needed was there… The river was just a quick stroll away and it was safe for swimming and floating and enjoying the weather. The hosts were amazing and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed …it was the perfect place to relax and unwind as there is limited cell service.

Blissful stay in paradise

We couldn’t ask for a better stay at Rob and Sandy’s property. It was a tranquil river oasis the weather was beautiful. The setting was incredible. The amenities were fantastic. Best outdoor shower comfiest Bed and just a 10 out of 10 stay

After over 30 years in Victoria we relocated to this riverfront acreage in the Cowichan valley which we now share with a small number of guests in a vintage Airstream trailer.
