Screened Lanai Plus A Sundeck! C2422B

Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.
A full service concierge can also arrange for everything from massages to fishing charters.
Join a complimentary water aerobics class, nature walk or yoga on the beach when scheduled. Whether you wish to spend your time with us on the go or taking it slow, you’re sure to enjoy your new Memories at the Speed of Old Florida.

Palm Island is amazing! Resort needs work.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, any stay at Palm Island is an amazing time. It’s hard not to be when it’s the perfect beach location. There wasn’t much information given to us upon check-in, pretty much just handed an envelope and some keys and said have a great time. The villa we stayed in worked well for our party of eight. It was missing a few amenities. There was one working TV in the living room. The small one upstairs the picture didn’t work. It was red and black screen. There was only one beach towel. And not all of the bed pillows had pillowcases. None of the extra pillows in the closet had pillowcases either and the pillows were super thin so you needed several of them. I did try to call the office a few times our first day there with no answer, but I didn’t want to waste much time dealing with minor inconveniences on our vacation. We rented two golf carts, one of them wouldn’t charge overnight so on the third day when we realize the battery was very low we tried to exchange it, and even though there was several golf carts sitting there we were told that they were spoken for, and we weren’t allowed to exchange the golf cart. This was first thing in the morning, and I feel like the staff had plenty of time to figure out what was wrong with the cart we had before someone else needed to use it after the 3 o’clock check-in time. We ended up letting that golf cart charge all day instead of getting to use it.

The rental fit our needs perfectly. The only reason for the star retraction is due to the bedroom on the first floor. The linens all needed rewashed. There was a strong Oder to the linens and pillows.

Island get away

We stay at Palm Island every year, and our only negative this year would be that when we rent a villa the rental includes the entire unit. The upstairs bedroom was closed off.... Also, the hubby and I had to give us our king room because the 2nd bedroom downstairs wasn’t the one with the king.... Makes more sense to have both kings on the main floor :) other than those two minor things, we loved every minute on the island as we do each year. When we got there, the unit was dirty, so we had to clean. Evidently the group before us left the home filthy. We always love the space the villas provide, and this units location to the pool and beach access were one of the best.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really roomy condo with great views of the beach. The condo shows much wear and tear, many things need to be addressed and updated. It wasn’t really clean, sand was still on the floors of the kitchen and entry way. Food was on the floor of the screened in balcony which showed a lot of rotting wood around the screens. I know salty air really is hard on everything. The sliding door between condo and balcony was a mess and the lock was falling off its mount. Fan in the master bath did not work and a large lamp in the living room was broke. It’s really a cute place with some nice decor, it’s time to bring this great space up to its full potential....👍🏻

Relaxing Don Pedro Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on Don Pedro many times and a number of times at Palm Island Resort. The 3 BR unit was clean and spacious and has a fantastic ocean view and little private deck. This was just a getaway for the two of us so we were not looking for anything overly fancy this time. The condo is dated but well maintained and was good value, location and amenities are top notch. Very happy overall. The staff at Palmisland is helpful and top notch. Very customer friendly and pleasant.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 18th year staying with you and we have seen many changes thru the years. Glad to see you now offer this review option. We were happy to see your storm repairs are coming along and really didn't present any conflicts with our stay. The unit was clean & well stocked. The unit issues seem to mostly be the same throughout the years, refrigerator & AC not properly cooling and WiFi connectivity not good. This time the upstairs level AC was not functioning upon our arrival and would only cool down to 72 deg. which at the upper level & in the July heat is not ideal. The AC did get repaired the following day. Our WiFi was sporadic & although attempts were made to fix it; it was never truly corrected. The refrigerator didn't cool, door wouldn't suction properly to the trim rubber seal. Finally, the Living Rm. furniture was stained and tired. But the Palm Island staff remains top notch, especially Katey, she was great !
