New Ocean Front Beach House With Access To Private Beach (License#2203401)

Salt Spray Beach House was newly constructed in 2022 on the majestic cliffs of Park Corner. This ‘saltbox’ inspired beach house is situated to maximize the ocean, sunrise, and sunset views. A private white sand beach is just steps away, along with a secluded cove surrounded by red cliffs. We provide a beach wagon, toys, chairs, and towels to enhance your comfort and relaxation during your beach days. Consider bringing a load of wood to cook dinner while you watch the sun set over the ocean.

The air-conditioned cottage is an open concept, 16 ft vaulted ceiling saltbox with a shed roof, and a mix of Scandinavian, Boho and Farmhouse design. With three 12ft bi-parting sliding doors and oversized windows, ocean views can be seen from any room.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 Queen and 2 Twin) plus an extra sleeping loft with 2 twin beds. Salt Spray Beach House sleeps 4-6 people, has 1 full bathroom with a large walk-in shower and double sink, and a half bath. Oh, did we forget to mention that we have a hot and cold outdoor shower to minimize 'sandy-bed'! For cooler nights, the spacious living room showcases a Scandinavian cylinder wood stove and multiple cozy throws to curl up in.

Where are we located?
We are located in Park Corner, which is 40 minutes from the Confederation Bridge and Charlottetown, and 15-20 minutes from Kensington, Cavendish and Summerside. Several Lucy Maud Montgomery and Anne of Green Gables tourism sites can be found nearby including Lucy Maude Montgomery's birthplace and the Anne of Green Gables Museum, which located across the road. Keep your eyes peeled for Matthew's Carriage rides along Lake of Shining Waters!

This rental was absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful two week relaxing vacation. The gorgeous ocean view and comfort of the cottage made it hard to leave even to pick up a few groceries or do a little sightseeing. We appreciated the quietness of this location and the privacy. There isn’t one thing we would change about this beautiful place and we would love to come back again.

Beautiful beach house with stunning views !! my husband and I just returned from an absolutely perfect week at this gorgeous beach house. This is definitely the nicest rental home we have rented. The attention to detail is obvious in every aspect of the home from the beautiful decor to the well appointed kitchen, everything you could want for a day at the beach to cooking your own lobster dinner. The owner Heather was great at responding to any queries we had & was super accommodating for any requests. Would love to return to this magical place for a week of P.E.I. relaxation!!

Perfect Getaway

The house is even better than pictured. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you could need. My kids loved that she provided paint for painting shells and the loft. It was safe and easy to get up into. Communication with Heather was easy and she is lovely. The area is close to everything (check out the Willow Bakery in Kensington). There are two beaches. One is smaller and rocky, we found crabs and even a lobster in the tide pools. The other is a short (and beautiful) walk to a massive sand beach that was empty the entire week we were there. The views were stunning with colourful sunsets and storms over water. I would strongly recommend this house to anyone wanting to feel the romanticized version of PEI. This is the type of house you dream about as you plan your vacation.

Dreamiest cottage by the sea

If you are looking to unplug and unwind, and revel in the sea and the breeze, this is the spot! What an absolutely charming and beautiful home. Stocked with everything you’ll need. Walking distance to a gorgeous beach where we only saw several other people during our entire trip. We will cherish our sweet memories of staying in this cottage forever!

Rare gem

This home is a rare gem. The setting and sweeping views of the ocean are breathtaking. The aesthetic of the house is perfect and the hosts have thought of every little detail. They even had a charcuterie board in the fridge for our arrival! We enjoyed walks on the private beaches and taking in the glorious views on the back deck. The host was so kind and responsive. This was our first time to PEI and we hope to bring more of our family back in the future.

Beautiful Beach Stay

Our visit to PEI was made even better by having this amazing place to stay. Salt Spray Beach House was absolutely amazing in every way. Clean, tidy and cozy with all of the amenities of a hotel and then some. The private beach was beautiful. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here and hope to be back again one day!

Beautiful!

We had an amazing vacation! The place was even more beautiful than the pictures! The hosts thought of everything, from beach towels to bathrobes, it was so nice to not have to worry about bringing extra stuff. We had a relaxing and worry free vacation!

A beautiful serene getaway

My wife and I spent a week in the house in early July. Booking and check-in were a snap, and communication with Heather was fantastic. The house was amazing, tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Everything we needed, and then some, was provided, as the house is very well-stocked. Heather sent us a document with all the information we needed to know about the house and fun things to do on the island, and even brought a beautiful welcome gift to the house. The location is stunning, with incredible views and access to really lovely private beaches. Our stay here ranks among the most peaceful and relaxing vacations we've ever taken, and we definitely plan to return.

An Incredible Home with an Exceptional Host

My wife and I brought our two small children (3 and under) to Heather’s property for a one week stay. Heather was a terrific host from the moment we booked, offering us booster seats and travel cribs to accommodate our kids. She also explained that the cottage was outfitted with a wagon and beach toys which we made great use of. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome gift and provided with a handbook containing countless recommendations for things to do, and places to eat, drink and shop. The cottage itself is stunning; situated in a peaceful, remote location, right on a beautiful private set sand beach; a brand new spacious, modern cottage furnished with exceptional fixtures and decor and an outdoor fire pit area. The place was also outfitted with plenty of towels, beach towels, robes, soaps, and all other useful necessities (cooking oils, pots, pans, s’mores sticks, you name it.). The common living room has beautiful views of the sunset and a modern fireplace with plenty of blankets. Heather was always responsive when called upon and even offered to mail us an article of clothing we didn’t realize we left behind free of charge. I would highly recommend a stay at her and Shawn’s property. Thank you for your hospitality!

Salt Spray has it all!

This is our second time at Salt Spray and we have already booked our next trip! Everything is here you will need for the perfect holiday. The cottage is like new and has all the comforts of home. Not a detail has been missed in the lovely home. Morning coffee watching the sunrise on the deck and watching the sunset from the beach each night are a must. The grandkids played on the private beach for hours and we fished from there as well and caught 4 Sea Bass! The Sunday Artesian Market in Charlottetown is less than an hour away and was amazing. We went into Cavendish a couple times too (only 15 min)
