Great location

This was a fantastic spot to stay with friends. Nice and quiet but still only a short stroll to Leura Mall. Lots of options for sleeping arrangements as we had a group of 7 ladies.

Weekend break

Lovely, comfortable place with enough room for 2 families. Only thing that could improve it would be an open fire but the heating worked very well.

3 night escape

As a group of six friends we have booked yearly for the last 4 years. Quite street, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Very efficient central heating! Depending on walking abilities (street is very steep) the house is within 10-15 minutes from Leura shops and a great location for other venues within the Blue Mountains.

Needs a good clean

The cleanliness was our main issue. We love Leura. The bathrooms and bedrooms seemed clean. But the lounge was very stained and dirty. We had to clean out cutlery drawer as it was full of crumbs. Dust bunnies along skirting all up the hall. Found items laying around house which showed place hadn’t been cleaned properly. The spare pillows didn’t have pillow cases and were covered in yellow sweat stains. Main bathroom door kept locking when pulled shut. We had to find a skewer to unlock it from the outside to get back in. No key for downstairs door and windows, which were locked. Not only a fire hazard, but would have been easier for us older ones to get our bags from car to our rooms.

A very comfortable and pleasant stay

We spent three nights for a family birthday get-together. The house was spotless and very well equipped with everything that we needed, even a high chair and toys for our granddaughter to play with. Beds were very comfortable and the central heating was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped also. We very much enjoyed our stay at Georgette House.

Happy family stay

Warm and comfortable for our family of 10 (plus 1 child), with a nice outlook and close to Leura shops. We like to get together and cook the evening meal and the kitchen was well equipped to allow us to do this. Christine

Lovely house with great central heating and lovely views and trees around.

Lovely stay but very steep hill to property and unfortunately no downstairs bathroom so only an en-suite and one bathroom upstairs for 6 bedrooms.

We had a lovely stay

My overall experience was great and the property was comfortable. The only comment is the front yard needs a bit more maintenance like the wood plank has rotted away with a hole and they covered it with a loose piece of timber on top which it’s a trip hazard in itself. But besides that. It was all lovely

Warm and easy

Our plan was to spend as much time outdoors as possible on this trip so the house was perfect for this as the bedrooms were basic but comfortable and the house was warm. The kitchen had all that we needed however the lounge area could do with a refresh.

Beautiful

All went very well for our group of 5. Large open plan kitchen/lounge area is perfect for a relaxed hang out. We’re “board game people” so the layout couldn’t have been better. House was very clean and had everything you need. Great pick, I’d come back anytime.

Great Book Club Girls’ Weekend

Upstairs living spaces were fabulous. Beds were comfy and coverings were warm. More than adequate supply of crockery, cutlery etc. downstairs bedrooms were disappointing - smelly, cold, dirty, bugs and stains on the ceiling. Evidence of vermin or possum in the ceiling. We would recommend this accommodation.

Great house & location

Brilliant house, great location

"Georgette" was beautifully presented with a very well stocked kitchen, with a fantastic large oven and cooktop. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there were interesting touches everywhere, including books and dvds. There was plenty of seating for all of us in the lounge and dining areas. It suited our large family perfectly. Being not far from Leura Mall (although a bit too hilly for us to walk there) it was a handy location and the outlook from the house is lovely, surrounded as it is by trees and well kept gardens. They also provided a high chair and there was a portable cot available. Linen was provided and the towels were soft and big. The house was warm and welcoming. The hosts were lovely and communication was easy. Their responses to our questions were always quick. We could not have asked for a better base in the Blue Mountains. We hope to be back very soon. Thank you so much, Ali & Rob.
