Skycrest is a serene mountain escape perched atop the Narrow Neck plateau, offering breathtaking views across the Megalong Valley. Set on 4,000 square metres of native bushland, the property provides a rare sense of seclusion while being only a five-minute drive from Katoomba town centre. This spacious two-storey home comfortably accommodates up to eight guests across four generous bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The house features a modern kitchen, large dining area, and open living spaces filled with natural light. Guests can enjoy entertainment options including a 65-inch TV with streaming services, pool table, and a projector in the family room. The property also includes ducted gas heating, air conditioning in the living areas, laundry, and a double garage.

Outdoors, enjoy the fresh mountain air, explore nearby bushwalks, and watch sunsets over the valley. Ideal for families or groups seeking a peaceful retreat close to Katoomba’s attractions such as the Three Sisters and several lookouts.

A Stunning property.

Skycrest was exceptional. The views were amazing. We have never stayed in such a beautiful, well equipped property. We will definitely be booking this home again.

Lovely Rental

Very nice house, with a view! Airy and spacious and comfy. The snooker table was an added bonus and very popular.

Unfortunately there was a bad and weird smell downstairs when playing pool that we felt was coOH my God! From the plumbing. Many of the doors including front door and bedroom cupboard doors seem to be hard to close.

Lovely and relaxing home

Despite staying amid the ongoing bush fire situation around the Blue Mountains, our group had a very enjoyable stay at this beautiful home, the photos didn’t do it justice! The moment we arrived, the home looked wonderful and the view was the cherry on top (even though there was some smoke in the mountain area it was still lovely! The amenities available were great, we didn’t even get around to using the downstairs entertainment area as we were all comfortable staying in the living room. All the rooms were very spacious and comfortable for everyone and it was very hard to want to leave! The area was very quiet and peaceful, its perfect for anyone wanting a nice relaxing getaway with a nice mountain view

Beautiful place to stay

The house is very spacious with all modern amenities and entertainment. Close to Katoomba and surrounding attractions but if you need to escape the crowds the serenity and views from the back verandah are just devine!!

Got it all ...

This place has it all - literally. Handwash, spray for cooking, teatowels, bbq, nice crockery and cutlery, all forms of cooking utensils, beautiful bed linen, towels, pool table, games galore, books, movies (projector in bottom room and tv upstairs to amazing views from everywhere you sit and comfortable furnishings that make it difficult to get up and leave. But when you do you can walk down the road and you're in the national park and on the bush path to the 6 Foot Track or a small walk to the main centre where quirky cafes abound. Great place for a weekend with family or friends.

Beautiful house in a great location

Skycrest is a true slice of heaven! This property manages to make you feel like you are in the bush, miles away from civilisation, whilst remaining conveniently close to Katoomba village. The property is amazing and comfortable with stunning views over the Megalong valley from half of the property including the veranda. Highlights for me were the view, the pool table and the dinning room table which is a true masterpiece.

Amazing house and amazing views

We will definitely be back, in fact we didn't want to leave! The views are just fantastic. The house itself is very spacious and it has all the comforts you could want. Highlights for us included having a morning cup of tea on the deck, overlooking the valley, and enjoying a glass of wine later in the day while watching the sunset. It was a luxury to have both upstairs and downstairs living areas (both with Netflix!). Large groups could easily spread out and enjoy themselves here, especially anyone who enjoys a game of pool. From Skycrest we visited the 3 sisters and Katoomba town centre, both of which were only 5 minutes' drive away. We also found a walking track and lookout near the property. Joanne and Ali are great hosts and they were very accommodating. We are looking forward to our next visit.
