Enjoy this self-contained basement apartment, perfect for a cozy night in. A king bed awaits you in this private and comfortable space. Included in this apartment is a makeshift kitchen with all cooking essentials provided, a welcoming living room, a dedicated workspace, and a bright master bedroom, complete with a walk-in closet. This space has a private entrance. Friendly hosts are always a message away!

The Pockwock Hideaway is a basement apartment with a private entrance around the back of a two-story house. The upstairs of the house is another rental- please note, you will hear occasional noise (footsteps, toilets flushing, etc.) as the floor is non-soundproofed. Included in the space is a large master bedroom with a comfy king-sized bed & walk-in closet. Off the bedroom is a welcoming living room with a pull-out sectional couch & a flat screen TV, complete with Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Off the hallway, there is a room converted into a makeshift kitchen area with all essentials provided (toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, full-sized fridge, cutlery, etc.). Included in the room is a small table and chairs overlooking the yard. There is a small office area and a full bathroom with a deep tub- perfect for soaking. An extra mattress is available upon request for use & can be made up prior to arrival if needed. The unit also includes a washer and dryer, which are free for guest use.

Outside, there is a large driveway with room for three vehicles or more. Enjoy a starry night view away from the city lights in this quiet and nature-filled area. Take a stroll along the nearby Pockwock walking trails and waterfalls for a refreshing nature-filled experience. The outdoor fire pit, yard, deck, and other outdoor amenities are reserved for upstairs guests' use only.

Conveniently located

My friends and I had a great stay. The property was located within good proximity to Halifax Peggy's Cove and other sites we wanted to visit while being quiet away from business. The hosts were always quick to reply to any questions and requests even quickly setting up the outdoor hot tub. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay here. The host was very responsive and easy to contact. There was lots of space and it was nice to have a kitchenette so we could do some of our own meals. It was nice to have access to a bbq and outdoor space with fire pit. We just didn't have enough time during our stay to utilize them.

Overall the place was clean until we found a used feminine napkin inside a blanket, picture shows 2 tvs were told no there was only one, asked about hot tub, were told they dont know why vrbo posted that because they dont have one, yet it was posted in their reviews how much it was enjoyed, if the people upstairs are heavy walkers, it can get very noisy Would not use again

It was spacious but sadly not as clean as we would have liked it to have been, some rules were strange having to only use one electrical item at a time in the kitchen,the television instructions hadn't been updated in the book which lead to a bit of a battle with them both.

Together over the years, we've created the Artbnb out of a love of plants and art. The location provides a quiet atmosphere and a nature-filled backyard, while also being very close to the city. We both grew up around this area and have many local recommendations displayed in the home.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We love this bright and spacious house. There is lots of natural light, perfect for houseplants (which fill the home). Handcrafted artwork fills most of the walls along with some reprints. The location is far enough away from the city lights to enjoy a gorgeous starry night view. The large backyard is perfect for backyard activities and bonfires, with a spacious deck and barbeque included. The house is a 20-minute walk away from the beautiful Pockwock Falls.
