Located just 2 minutes walk from Tuggerah Lake and 5 minutes drive from beautiful Shelley Beach, this hidden gem will have you smiling from the moment you walk in. Fitted out in coastal style with all you could need for your time away, feel free to relax in the sun-filled lounge, take a bath, or head out to the studio for a drink or some games. If you feel like venturing further afield you will find stunning beaches, coastal walks, shopping centres, as well as the larger town centres of Terrigal and Avoca just a short car trip away. Leave feeling relaxed and refreshed!

(Although brand new to Stayz, this property is not new to the holiday rental market, and has achieved consistently excellent reviews on Airbnb).

Cute cottage

Cottage was well located for our needs. Clean and fairly well appointed. Only suggestions would be wifi availability and a larger saucepan to allow for cooking with a family.

We had a very comfortable stay. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the host was very helpful and pleasant. The only drawback was that the house had only 1 bathroom not 2 and 1 toilet could not be used as it was tiny

Functional and well located

The property is close to the lake as well as on the way to all interesting places on Central Coast. It is a cottage, so cleanliness only goes so far, kitchen equipment is minimal and worn, and there is no dinner table only a bar that can accommodate 4 stools. The outdoor table is not really usable for meals, so it was not ideal for our family with 4 adults and 2 children, bit fine for a short stay.

Quiet, clean and comfy.

Lovely location, quiet, close to walking track along lake. Clean and had all the extra touches to make it welcoming. Friendly and responsive host. Great for families and for short or long stays.

Great 70 th birthday reunion sleepover

Myself and 4 of my closest friends who all turn 70 this year stayed overnight and we had a blast. 2 am call it a night was pretty good for us ‘oldies’. The house is wonderful. Clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Comfy beds and a nice quiet location. Amy was great to deal with. Highly recommend.

Good location with everything you need

Really enjoyed our stay at Tumbi Umbi cheerful home. Very clean and organised. Great location. Only 6mins to Shelly beach which is beautiful. We didn't get to the house until 10.30-11pm and it was very hot. Grateful for the air con. It would have been good to be able to keep the front door open when there was a breeze but there was no screen door. Also only 1 bedroom had a fan. I slept in the loungeroom with the air con:) Thank you Amy for being accommodating and your friendly communication.

had a wonderful night in Amy’s property with a few drinks and lots of board games. the house is so cute and was absolutely spotless!! communication was incredible with Amy and check in was a breeze. loved the little outdoor picnic table out the back. will definitely be back to stay again sometime 😊

Great size, very clean, loved the rooms and the fact that shampoo/hand wash and towels were provided. Also loved the fact that it was across the road from a great cafe where we could grab brekky! (that had a kids play area inside which was awesome)

Relaxed Coastal Getaway

Amy’s place was perfect for a chilled out coastal getaway. It was just a short drive from the beach and the shops, and had enough space for us to hang out together or relax separately. Having no wifi meant that we could switch off and just be present with each other :)
