Pleasantly Surprised

My friends and I were very impressed with this resort. The entire resort was very clean, and all the staff members were very friendly and helpful. We did have an issue with electrical outlets while there, but maintenance was sent ASAP and solved the issue quickly. View from this condo is amazing, and the Quaterdeck bar and grill on property was so convenient. Check in and out was a breeze. Great communication from management company! Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife, daughter and I rented this condo for 5 short nights and were nothing less than satisfied. Everything from picking up the welcome packet and throughout the stay was very easy and practically effortless. We LOVED the view from the 16th floor and the place was super clean. Our only issues were one of the elevators seemed to be out of order most of the time we were there and the air filter appeared to be way past due to change. I've stay at this resort at least 3 other times and have enjoyed each stay even more than the last.

lacking cleanliness

Room was not clean. Pot and Pans had burnt on food. Top of stove also covered with burnt on food. Shower curtain was disgusting as well as tub. Draws in bathroom had hair in them. The room was outdated which was ok but no excuse for it not being clean. Had to disinfect myself. Only positive thing was the view, it was beautiful.

Reviewer Comments: Was happy with the property very nice my family has stayed at the resort for about 5 years but have never dealt with Myrtle Beach ManagCompay and never again they are very unprofessional my son has a emotional support dog and we were terminated from the condo even though he is registered I couldn’t even talk to the gentleman at the management company all he knew how to do is scream at me he told me that a service dog was for someone that was like blind well if it makes you feel better he is along with a lot of issues the management company cost us a days vacation and we paid for that day we vacated our room and left it spotless I will stay at Myrtle Beach Resort again but don’t recommend dealing with a management company at least not that one because I feel my son was discriminated.

“Old and outdated”

The hallway in the building was nasty the entire 4 days I was there. The unit was somewhat clean but extremely ran down. Old grout around the bathtub in both bathrooms. The entire living room furniture needs to be replaced. The coffee pot is ancient. The closet in the living room is nasty and dusty. This at one time was a beautiful unit but now it appears the owner doesn’t care. Both bathrooms need remodeling. All of the beds need new bedding. The towels provided aren’t fit to wash my car with. I believe this was once a beautiful unit but it isn’t no more!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately this will be our last time staying here. We had high hopes that it would be as awesome as it was 4 years ago. We had no TV the entire time the condo was absolutely disgusting and needs a lot of attention by hour and cleaning products to clean. 2 weeks sleeping on a couch and not having tv on rainy days isn’t for us. Most hotels would have refunded you especially if you have to scrub the bathroom and floors before you take a shower. This place has the best view and could be amazing. But I will spend my 3800 bucks somewhere else next time. I was surprised after all er had to do we weren’t offered at least half our money back.

Family vacation 2023

So I am not a hard person to please when it comes to the beach . I just need the sand and the sun . When we arrived it was chaos Saturday check in was very busy in the renaissance tower . First thing we noticed was the security guards being extremely rude and very unhelpful towards all the guests . The building is in terrible condition one elevator is down for repairs . Making for long waits to get into the room it was almost an hour standing in the lobby . We then noticed there is a ton of construction going on outside with temporary barriers set up all over . There are no amenities available with the construction going meaning the restaurant and pool are closed . There is also no beach front easy access from the building . U have to go out the front of lobby walk around the barriers which is basically out in the front of the parking lot then walk back down the side of the building to the beach . It was very inconvenient with kids and all the beach gear . If I would of known all of this I would of never rented the unit . I was looking for beach front easy access with amenities. If u want to use the pool u need to go to the sister building which is a long walk . When u get to it the pool is extremely crowded cause it is the only pool open at the complex . The actual unit has beautiful views and was clean . The balcony views u couldn’t ask for more . We don’t have any complaints. Everything else was such a horrible experience I strongly recommend against this complex

really disappointed

Pulling into the resort I was very pleased to see a security guard at check in. We were on the 16th floor or renaissance tower. As soon as the elevator opened up to our floor I knew this was not going to be good. The long hallway was filthy, smelled like mildew, broken pieces of metal, fire extinguisher just sitting on the floor, very stained carpet, an air conditioner in the hallway. When we opened our condo door it was filled with the strongest smell of cleaner. The master bath and master bedroom smelled like cigarettes. The bathtub was not cleaned, appeared to be urine on the floor. The pullout sofa mattress cover was filthy with I’m not sure what all was on it, it was disgusting. We did not use the pullout couch bc of this! 2 smoke detectors were pulled off the ceilings. The condo is situated beside ocean lakes campground. And just a warning, after the live music which is played till 11pm a huge crowd of kids and young adults(no joke about 100 of them) will come out onto the beach and stay till about 3am yelling, screaming and shooting fireworks. Zero security came out to them.You have to walk all around the building to get to the beach access(I was not told this when I booked due to maintenance.The food/bar area outside was very good and priced well. We had to wait over 1hr to get on an elevator to checkout. This was a nightmare for everyone. I did contact the property manager and asked for a discount or refund of some sort. I received nothing. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Spring Break on the Beach

Parking was easy, as was loading and unloading. The beach was incredible, and we enjoyed use of the hot tub. A few minor changes inside could make a huge difference. The bathroom sink was clogged and did not drain well. The stand up shower was hard to use without soaking the bathroom floor because the door would get wet and then drip on the floor when opening. The bathrooms, while not filthy, could stand a thorough cleaning / touchups. The kitchen faucet was a bit bizarre with how it turns on and off. None of these are show stoppers, but a little work could make the place incredible.

Reviewer Comments: very nice room very clean with most everything you could need, great ocean view, nice size kitchen table and counter-top to eat on, nice sized couch's very comfortable for 3 adults, the one thing needed is the queen and twin mattress need replacing and the second bath shower is very small but great for kids or smaller people. The people who work there were very nice and to enter you had to go through a security gate with actual people on duty who were very friendly, there's a very cool outside patio bar by the pool that had entertainment nightly. It's great location right by everything even walmart across the street but not right in the heart of all the noise and partying. Overall great place to stay and only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is matress needed replacing and very small 2nd shower but nice rooms for the price. DO be aware when parking for the Tower rooms it's a good walk but handicap is right in front. The owner even texted after we checked out to ask how our stay was thats 5 Stars for that. Will stay here again in the fall for bike week.

We will for sure look for this room next time we need to book. However, the main bed is EXTREMELY noisy. Didn't sleep that well as I was to worried if I moved I would wake up my husband. Also there are no toys/beach items available to use and no laundry basket. Those are items other rooms we have stayed in had to use. We had 1 slight issue come up and MBM was very quick to respond.

Reviewer Comments: The unit appeared to be in the process of being updated with some new furniture, new kitchen cabinets and had a nice stand alone shower in the 2nd bath. Everything worked well. I did have an issue with electrical outlets being unusabke in the master bedroom due to the new large beautiful bedroom suite, I was unabkle to use my CPAP device for fear of tripping over the electrical cord of the machine where it would have to have been plugged in, I survived. The weather was less than cooperative but we still had a wonderful balcony even in the rain. Management did a fine job and I would recommend them to potential renters.

Family vaca

My family and I love coming to Myrtle beach and have stayed here before. We love all the amenities, and not having to leave if we don’t want to. From beach to pools to quarterdeck. A lot of stuff to do in one place. One complaint is the campsite guests(particularly the kids from the campsite) coming over to the quarterdeck and using all the pools and amenities and running all over the resort into all hours of the night!! I paid for the Myrtle beach resort, they paid for the campsite (and probably at a much lower rate) but they are getting to reap all the same benefits my family did, and most of the time overtaking the areas!

They need someone that care about the property to manage. They did not clean the property correctly the tub have old bath mats that were discolored and stained. Old grease on the stove which caught fire the last day of our stay. The air went out the last night of our stay and there was no one to contact that night but when I made the property management aware they didn’t really care nor did they compensate us for the inconvenience! I will never stay here again!!!!

One of the best places we have stayed

This was one of the best places we have stayed the view was great the room was clean it has everything you need in the kitchen the staff was friendly and helpful the property was clean and there was a lot to do felt safe in Gated community the lazy river Area was our favorite places besides the beach we will return next year this place has won our desire to stay there agine
