The Rock Inn Yacht - Meredith Lodging

Enjoy what floats your boat with a terrific stay across the street from the beach and near Pacific City’s Cape Kiwanda at the Rock Inn Yacht! This gorgeous, spacious home’s great room with vaulted tongue-in-groove ceilings has contemporary sofas, a welcoming fireplace, and a large TV. The dining space near the fully-equipped kitchen includes a table with hillside views and an elevated breakfast bar. Great place! Clean and easy walk to beach etc. other parts of the house are needing updating but kitchen and family room was amazing! View was amazing as well!

Bring disposable Lysol wipes if you want to disinfect the countertops. There aren’t any cleaning solutions. Dishwasher, dish soap and new sponge was supplied as well as bathroom soaps.

Great location, clean, well stocked house

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house had everything we needed. The deck was great and we ate outside several times. A short walk to the beach and a slightly longer walk to Pelican Brewery and the market. We look forward to staying here again.

Beach view was somewhat obstructed. Had to look between houses. House was very clean and beach access was great. Basement where a bedroom and full bath was dark and felt like a basement. I didn’t realize that we only had a starter pack of dishwashing tabs, soap and laundry supplies. Other houses we have stayed at supplied all that so I will pay better attention. We had a great time and the house was comfortable. Management company was quick to respond.

We appreciate the feedback that the lower‑level bedroom felt dark — we’ll consider additional lighting options for that space. Thanks also for the note about supplies; we are actually just about to overhaul our soap supply kits in early June. More soaps will be provided to each guest moving forward, in the form of refillable pump bottles. We were lucky to have perfectly sunny weather in the mid-70s with amazing surf!. Great location to watch the sunset from the patio. The house is well-stocked and comfortable. Just need some soup ladles! We loved having ping-pong and fussball. 10-15 minute walk on the beach to the point for better surfing and exploring on the dune and Ben & Jeff's for tacos.

The house was perfect and we enjoyed staying there. The check in process was not handled well. We waited for an hour (after calling twice) to get our door code to work.

Good for younger crowds

The house is listed as right across from the beach, which is true. However, getting to the ocean you must walk down a rather steep sandy hill. Down isn’t a problem, but getting up was difficult for one of our guests who is a heart patient. The house was roomy, but did need some minor repairs.
