Romantic Family Lake front Cabin getaway 45 min W of Edmonton. 5 star cabin.

This top-of-the-line brand new cabin next to Seba beach, with all bamboo sheets and bamboo mattresses. This has a walkout deck with dinning table seating and fire table, all on one level for easy access for young ones and elderly. You have two master bedrooms are their own bathrooms. TVs in every bedroom, full wifi. Come sit in the reading room and your floating egg chair staring at the lake and enjoy a great book or play on our Pac-Man table top arcade game. Perfect for families! (To make it easier on families we now supply a folding baby crib/playpen and 4in1 highchair). You can watch your kids play on your private large beach, synthetic grass play area. There’s a small private boat launch right on our property to launch a fishing boats, Sea-Doo or smaller toys. For larger boats there’s a boat launch one property over. You can fish right off our dock. For nature lovers, watch the sunsets, northern lights, amazing bird watching and hiking trails.

Romantic winter getaway, you can toboggan down our own private hill, skate on lake rink or snowmobile a numerous amazing trails to take you all over Alberta from our backyard. You can have a fire right off the lake with some amazing ice fishing. Comes fully decorated for the holidays.

This property comes with a 4 seater paddleboat some lifejackets kids sand toys along with two paddle boards. Also app.5 min drive, mini golf for families, ice cream stands, old school general store, bar, amazing golf courses like pine ridge, driving range. Just km further you can tube down the pembina river.

Do you have an event, wedding, stag or Stagette. Golf trip? Need more space? Ask about the houses side by side for larger groups or events. As in first picture.

Hot tub access Is available for additional charge due to we have to truck the water in and replace the water after use. $250 fee for hot tub.

Being on the lake we wanted good
water so no wells. We have a triple filter micro filter system on top of our amazing water. So we truck in all of our water. So please be water conscious.

Our stay was wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Sitting around the fire and found the chairs comfortable. We were confused as the listing said 5 bedrooms but there is only 4.

I stayed with my family in multiple places throughout Alberta and this was our favorite. We didn't have any problems, we just enjoyed the place. The water pressure was low, but given the cleanliness, the SUP boards that were provided, and all the beautiful views we got everything we wanted and more from our stay here. The place was immaculate as we walked in and we were immediately impressed with how big it was and how comfortable it was. I loved everything about this place, but I would suggest that you find some firewood before coming if you plan to build a fire. I had some problems finding some, but luckily there's a propane firepit on the deck too. I would love to stay here again if it's available.

Bachelorette Weekend

I booked this property for a bachelorette party. Property was absolutely stunning. Everything you need in a kitchen is there which was so nice. Beds were comfy and the check in process was so easy. Only downside was I could never get in touch with host.. no one answered my messages or phone call. It something they need to improve.

Girls weekend

Had an amazing stay and was perfect for what we were looking for. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for us all. The only downside was the water was ice cold in the upstairs master bathroom. I would definitely stay here again

We had a very pleasant stay. The views of the lake are truly exceptional, and the house itself was clean and well-maintained. While a deeper clean in certain areas (such as under the beds) would be beneficial, overall the property was in good condition.The hosts have also made noticeable improvements in their communication. Based on previous reviews, I was initially concerned about responsiveness, but we did not encounter any issues. The host called about a week before our stay, and throughout our time there, he was consistently reachable by text and responded within an hour.It is worth noting that this is a four-bedroom home. The fifth “bedroom” is actually an upstairs secondary living area. While it includes a comfortable couch and extra pillows, it does not have bedding, a door, or curtains, so it may not be suitable as a dedicated sleeping space.

Amazing stay & fun weekend!

The property was amazing! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everybody. Plenty of amenities & games were available for use which we appreciated. The place is very well stocked and has everything you could need. A beautiful property right on the water - it was even more amazing in person! It was the perfect place for a girls weekend! However, we did have some difficulty getting in touch with the host. I had reached out a few times in the months leading up to our stay and didn’t receive a response, and during our visit, we accidentally tripped a breaker and weren’t able to reach anyone for help. Quicker communication would have improved our experience. Overall, a good stay & would recommend for large groups.

Bachelorette weekend

We booked this property for a bachelorette weekend for 11 girls! The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, and everything you’ll need. We spent so much time sitting and chatting on the deck that had a beautiful lake view!

It was an amazing experience. The cabin is so cozy. There are a lot of rooms , and a lot of space outside. The hot tub and fire pit made our evenings unforgettable! Communication with the owner was great . The requests were processed immediately. Thank you for such great service! Happy New Year!

Girls weekend

The property was great, we had a great weekend. We specifically booked this place though as it said it had 5 bedrooms and 8 beds. There were only 4 bedrooms and 7 beds with a futon that had no bedding . We could not find the bedding for the futon in the family room(which also had no curtains, so it would have been hard to sleep in. Communication - I had emailed them twice prior to check in and twice again on the first night of check in, asking where the extra bedding was and a question about check out and we did not receive an answer to any of my emails . 2 were through the Vrbo app and 2 through google. The view was great and there was lots to do. They had paddle boards, lawn games and a paddle boat as advertised.

Our group had an incredible stay this past week! The location and home are beautiful! There was plenty of room for our large group and the kids had so much fun on the beach and out on the lake with the paddle boards! The adults were able to relax and the kitchen was roomy and stocked well for all our cooking needs. However, renters need to be aware that the upstairs ensuite does NOT have any hot water to the sink or shower. This appears to be a known issue that the owners are not willing to fix. There have been many posts about this and there still isn't hot water up there. When I sent a text asking about it I was totally ignored. I don't find that this is acceptable and the owner should just state that there is an issue and be honest about it. It didn't ruin our stay and I'd go back again, I just don't appreciate the dishonesty!

The property itself is beautiful and very peaceful, offering a setting that feels private and relaxing. It truly has the potential to be an amazing getaway. That said, there were some aspects of our stay that left us disappointed. First, the lake was not swimmable, which was a big letdown as it was one of the main reasons we chose this property. While the home itself appeared clean at first glance, we quickly discovered that nearly all of the dishes and kitchen items were dirty, many with food still stuck to them. This meant we had to wash everything ourselves before use, which was inconvenient and took away from our time to enjoy the property. The tv in the living room didn’t turn on. We thought we ran out of water day 3 but turns out it was the pump, I needed to reset it several times and bleed all the air out, we went a full day with no water before that was figured out. Overall, the property is lovely, but these issues had a negative impact on our experience. With better maintenance, proper cleaning, and reliable water service, this could easily be a five-star stay.

Upon our arrival we found that the front door lock was malfunctioning. I called the contact and left a message, to which i received a prompt return call and the matter was resolved. This door lock issue was not rectified during our stay but only had a minimal impact on us.The lake house is very nice and has plenty of space for guests and enjoying indoor and outdoor areas. We had a couple issues with breakers tripping but this also didnt really impact us much as we just worked around the issue.The lake was not swimable due to "Blue Green Algae" heavily covering the entire shoreline and quite a ways out. We adjusted and went to Wabamun Provincial Park to enjoy the beach there for one day and for another day we went to Pembina Provincial Park to swim in the river. Both options are roughly 15 minutes away and both can get busy but are definitely refreshing. I personally enjoyed the river at Pembina better.We would come back again for the house but not for the lake. Isle Lake was disappointing for our first visit.

Awesome place!

Went to celebrate my birthday & this was the perfect place! Lots of parking available for guests. There was a bbq grill but it was not working so we had to resort to cooking burgers inside. When cooking inside the place got too warm and smoky but the house had no screen windows or patio screen to air out the place! If we opened doors or windows there was a lot of flies/insects coming inside. Other than ventilation this place was awesome! Will book again during warmer months to enjoy the lake. The dock was already pulled in during our stay.

Beautiful home

Loved it. Lots of space in the house for our group. The view from the bedrooms on the back of the house are gorgeous. The backyard is awesome. Loved the fire pit area and the sand. The host was helpful. The lake itself is pretty to look at but lots of weeds. Didn’t stop us from paddling out and jumping in for a swim. It’s a minor inconvenience that there is not access to the yard from the back of the house. You have to use the front door and walk around and the walk down is steep for less mobile people. It’s a great place and I’d definitely go back.

We found this property attractive and well-equipped, with many great amenities such as outdoor toys, a paddle boat, and a dock for our boat. However, a few issues significantly impacted our stay.The biggest concern was the water situation. The warning that we could face a sizeable bill if we exceeded the available water created ongoing anxiety and discomfort. As a result, our family—including the children—avoided showers and were extremely careful with flushing, which dampened the enjoyment of our time there.There were also maintenance issues. The toaster repeatedly blew the kitchen counter fuses, and with no access to the electrical panel and no response from the host beyond suggesting it “must have been lightning,” we had to come up with our own workaround. Also, the dish washer was inoperative and the refrigerator also leaked periodically, making us wonder if it would keep working during our stay.These matters could have been greatly eased by a personal call or reassurance from the host that such issues had happened before and were under control. Without that communication, the uncertainty was nerve-wracking.While we did appreciate the beautiful setting and the amenities, the water restrictions, electrical issues, and lack of accessible support left us feeling uneasy throughout the weekend.

Lots of potential!

This is a great property , amazing views and beautiful house . However, the cleanliness needs work - fridge & bathroom yuck . Communication also needs work-the dock wasn’t put out and paddle boards weren’t there - when tried contacting the owner, he didn’t reply until we were back home !! He did apologize but never responded back after I sent a message about our stay - sent Monday, today is Wednesday and nothing .I wasn’t gonna write this review but the non communication made me feel like I have to . Siding on the top of the house sounded like it was going to rip off and fall on us while we were trying to enjoy the beach area . Again, beautiful property but we are disappointed. This was a bachelorette weekend and I communicated how excited we were to paddle board and fish of the dock….

We are going to ask for some compensation.1. The water pressure was so low, it didn’t reach upstairs showers and was impossible to fill the toilets if the dishwasher was running2. The messaging was that the water is trucked in and if we over use water there would be a 200dollar charge so letting the water run to hot water was stressful to do and the hot water never arrived even after. 20 min cold shower in trickling water.(which only my sister tried)3. The outlets in the kitchen slowly stopped working so we would move the appliances We did not overload what was used was a Kureg coffee, a toaster, an ice maker and a kettle. By the last day no kitchen outlet were working4.. there was random water leaking from the fridge floor and the freezer has so much ice in the bottom of it it barely closed and was dirty on arrival5. The septic truck showed up mid stay and we had to move all our parking to accommodate and close the windows to hide the smell.For a family of 10 it was not adequate, we would have left but we all met from different places to visit and didn’t want to miss out on family time.We communicated with the owner through the VRBO application and never got a reply the whole stay.I can go on with arriving with to a dirty fridge and freezer and stains on the furniture but really the main things were water pressure and electrical issues…. I mean isn’t that enough

I want to rate our visit a 3.5 but no option to do so and here is why. Gorgeous location, kitchen well equipped, beds & bedding were comfy. Deck and backyard were cozy and well equipped with many things to keep us busy; fire table, hot tub extra charge, fire pit, ladder ball, dock and sunsets. When we arrived there was blue green algae so in the lake so you couldn’t swim or fish and the smell was intense. There are other lakes near by so that was fine. The power outlets in the kitchen didn’t work, the fridge leaked so there was a pool of water every morning on the floor. The bunk bed room to and power outlets didn’t work, same with the game room. When we messaged the owner there was no response. Still no response to this day. Communication was really overall the biggest issue here, it is non existent really. So if there is an issue you won’t get a response. There are a lot of rules with charges associated to it, so we were always on our toes. The showers… this is an issue as well. Water pressure is no existent, cold for a very long time, you have to limit your shower and water usage as per instructions as water is trucked in but it takes a very long time for water to warm. The shower would also just turn off mid shower… kids were also nervous to use hot tub because there is a 1000 charge of the water goes under a certain point and we don’t really understand what that point was. All this said we are going back over the Xmas holidays to ice fish for less days.

This is a tricky one because the actual house and location were amazing. However upon our arrival. By 10 o'clock that evening we had no water. We didn't have cellular reception to call the host, I sent an email but was fairly certain I wouldn't get a reply before we went to bed. The next morning I drove to a town to get some water and to call the host. He returned my call and explained that water is trucked in to fill the cistern and it was to be filled the day before. The fellow arrived, filled the tank and told us there was NO order for water to be delivered the day before. Still no water. Then a septic guy showed up to check the tank, it was full and almost over flowing. He cleaned out the tank. Still no water to the house, apparently there was air in the line. The host drove for 4 hours to get to the house, by this time it's 7p.m. Could these things been checked before our arrival? We lost one day of our holiday waiting around for these service companies and the host. We feel we should have been refunded one of the nights. But after we left I tried to communicate with the host by text about this issue, he has never responded. Was the host responsive yes, was the house nice yes but we left feeling a little cheated of our get away.

Gorgeous home and location

For the most part, this lake house is stunning, comfortable and well worth it. A few minor hiccups but our overall stay was perfect. When I first walked in there was a puddle on the floor going halfway across the kitchen. I messaged the property manager and didn’t hear anything until the following day. It turned out that Ice had built up in the freezer preventing it from closing. We the guests removed the ice build up and resolved the issue. The tap on the kitchen sink was not secured properly, it’s a bit wobbly when you move it from side to side for each sink. The upstairs master bedroom ensuite shower did not get hot water. We read that it may take a few minutes to heat up, but after 10mins it was still ice cold. All the other showers and sinks were fine and warmed up within minutes.

This is an amazing 5 star lake cabin with one of the most amazing sunsets one can ask for in Alberta. Great from a romantic getaway to a family get away or group of friends. Winters this property is a hidden gem as the lake is known for the best ice fishing and snowmobile trials.
