Your home away from home! Well equipped and appointed suite with modern amenities. Located in the quiet Vernon Foothills neighborhood en-route to Silver Star. Our above ground suite, bright, spacious and has no stairs. 2 spacious bedrooms, a full bath, full sized kitchen and in-suite laundry. There's lots of storage, closet space and room to park on property. Winter season we have boot/glove dryers and ski/board rack. Spacious off street parking for 2 vehicles including a small utility/marine trailer.

•Minutes from BX Falls and Grey Canal trailheads
•13 minute drive and you're hitting with slopes/XC Ski/Snow Shoeing & Mt bike trails
• Snowmobile, dirt bike & quad trails minutes from our home
•10 minutes from town
•35ish mins to Kelowna airport and
• Approx. 30 mins to Lake Country wineries
•Water slides 8 mins away
•Kalamalka and Okanagan Lakes 15 min drive away
•O’keefe Ranch historical site is 13 minute drive away
•45 mins to downtown Kelowna
• Nightly rate based on double occupancy. Extra occupant(s) fee applicable for additional guests exceeding 2. Suite is ideal for 4 ppl, but can sleep up to 5 wt sofa bed.
We are a family of 4 with 2 mini dachshunds and a cat that live upstairs. We are pretty quiet but you may hear us walking around or my dog will occasionally bark if someone knocks on the door or if they're outside. You may see us outside doing yard work or enjoying a fire (you’re more than welcome to join). Our yard is a shared space with people, our dogs (we accompany our weenies when they’re outside) and the local deer and quail population. ***Please be aware that we have shared heat and A/C where the main control is in our main-living space upstairs. We have the central A/C set to 23 degrees and the heat is set to 22 degrees. The suite does have electric heat to supplement in the winter.

This is my second time at this property and it is my go-to accommodations when visiting Vernon to ski at Sovereign Lake Nordic. Perfect location, beautiful, comfortable, clean, well organized, and quiet suite, and a lovely host.

Perfect location for Sovereign/Silverstar

I spent 3 nights here with a friend for a quick visit to Sovereign Lake Nordic. It's perfectly situated between Sovereign/Silverstar and Vernon. The suite is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Sharel is a great host and I recommend this location!

The suite was amazing. Extremely clean, tastefully decorated, well organized and spacious. Parking and barbecue grill outside was great. Host communicated well and very helpful. Perfect location for Silverstar!!!

Took good care of us!

Sharel took very good care of us! Snacks for the road, attentive to all that was asked of her, very friendly! The property is bright and well kept and clean and well stocked with all a person needs. My husband and I were very comfortable there. Also loved a couple of visits with the weiner dogs!

Amazing stay in Vernon!!

We had an incredible holiday in Vernon, filled with mountain biking, sipping local Cambrian Cider, and catching up with old friends over the weekend. Our hosts were fantastic—super welcoming and attentive. The house was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its location was ideal for all our activities, making it the perfect home base for our adventures. We truly appreciated the hospitality and enjoyed the great conversations over drinks. We’ll definitely be back for another visit. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this property and couldn't recommend it more highly. The place was beautifully set up and welcoming - we didn't want to leave! It was clear that much care and consideration had been put into equipping the apartment - everything (and more) that you would think to need was provided. The place was incredibly clean. The owner was proactive in communication. Absolutely nothing we could fault, it was perfect!

Amazing!

I can’t say enough about Sharel and this property. She went above and beyond to help us navigate the fires, answered our questions about routes etc.. and offered to help my children who were driving there alone. The property itself was better than we expected. It was spotlessly clean, had every amenity you could want and more. Sharel is an extremely responsive, friendly host. It felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be back!

The apartment is very welcoming and comfortable. We are seniors and the ground floor entry and absence of stairs is a definite plus.The area is quiet and the views are lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again without hesitation.

Both my husband and I are from Pemberton B.C., about 30 minutes north of Whistler. Our background is in Forestry, Tourism and Service. We spent the last15 years in Squamish before making the Okanagan leap. We decided to make the move a couple years ago and haven't looked back. Our family enjoys hiking, fishing, hockey, camping, skiing, lake days, exploring with our Weiner dogs. We love our camp fires, if you see us outside by the fire pull up a chair and join.

We fell in love with our home at first sight. A little slice of urban paradise in a desirable quiet Foothills neighborhood. Head out for a stroll and you'll be treated to the views over looking Vernon, the sunsets are specular up here too. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but only an 8 minute drive from town, 13 minute drive to Silver Star and about 15 minutes to Kalamalka and Okanagan Lakes.
