Family getaway

Loved our weekend at the lake. The house was perfect, had everything we needed. LOVE the screened in back porch. The water was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property

The home was just as it looked in the photos. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and the dock.

Updated Lake House

Clean well laid out home with a big backyard. Safe neighborhood. Stayed for a Clemson football weekend and while it was kind of a long drive, it was worth it for the reasonable cost and good value. Loved the screened in porch that has a nice view of the lake!

Beautiful appointed!

Great place to hang with family. Attention to detail and comfort was apparent throughout. We loved the space, inside and out - particularly enjoyed the fire pit with great conversation and campfire games. Would recommend. Lake Hartwell, however, is at it's lowest point since 1962. The docs and lake were really not usable. Read about it after we arrived to dried up mud. They were basically on land and the water was not reachable. Wish we'd have known that prior to booking but we had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

High School fishing tournament

The decor & furnishings were beautiful & great for 2 couples & 2 teenagers. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, internet & TV worked with no problems. The screened in porch was wonderful with close views of the lake while having morning coffee & evening glass of wine or beer. The deck was great with both charcoal & gas grills plus table & chairs. The outdoor furniture on the porch had not been uncovered & had to be removed & swept for spider webs, but was a beautiful place to spend time lake watching. The house keeping could be a little better - vent in kitchen needed dusting, cookie sheet left in oven had to be cleaned, bathroom rugs needed vacuuming, dryer vent was full but - overall house was great for our stay. Appreciated the crock pot, mixer, plenty of pots & pans, dishes, even seasonings since we cooked & grilled most nights. The straight driveway was a little difficult for the boat & vehicle plus additional cars to park but we managed. I certainly would return to this rental & really enjoyed our week’s stay.

Very unsatisfied

Property look great on the site but it’s a different story when you are there, we arrived, the place was completely dark, the minute we entered the property a very strong musty, damp lingering smell around the home, the cleanest was very poor to the point that the master bedroom’s bed sheet had, hairs, pieces of popcorn etc.. There was dust behind doors, bathroom carpet were filthy and on the master bathroom shower we found spider web. My family and I left the property a day before to all of the mentioned inconvenience, the owner of the property was very kind and apologetic about the whole situation but unfortunately, our family trip was kind of sour.
