The house was perfect for a girls weekend. Plenty of space, it was clean, and the location was perfect for what we were doing. Would stay again.

This lovely, charming home was perfect for the 7 nights my daughter and I stayed. Close to downtown where my daughter was competing and easy to get to. Very responsive host. (Would have loved to sit on the cute porch or patio;however, the heat and humidity was a bit much for me). Air conditioning inside was a lifesaver! Comfortable beds, nice kitchen so prepare meals in, and a cozy living room to relax in the evenings. Appreciated having access to all the same TV streaming services I watch at home. Plenty of room with extra beds in the loft upstairs for the whole family to stay if schedules would have allowed them to come with. Would definitely stay again!

Second stay

Our favorite DSM place to stay! We visited in the summer and loved the place so much, we knew we wanted to book it the next time we were in Des Moines! Excellent property. Perfect location, perfect property!

Quiet neighborhood, good location

This was a nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Great coffee shop and Hyvee within walking distance. Perfect for our family of 4.

The house is super cute. There was plenty of room for everyone. We came to Iowa for a wedding. The house was in driving distance of everything we needed. I would definitely book this listing again.

Great location, quiet neighborhood

Beautiful property. Location was very quiet and perfect for our family. Shared driveway was hard to access due to neighbors’ many cars, but street parking was safe and convenient.

Girls Weekend

We were a group of 6, the house worked great for us - were a little worried about only one bathroom, but it wasn’t an issue. Location was great and easy to access. We had a great time.

Cute cottage near Drake

We loved the beauty of this cute house and it was quite comfy. Emily has stocked it with everything one might need (thank you!). The family enjoyed our stay and it was so convenient to central Des Moines.

Cute cozy house

Such a cute cozy house pictures don’t do it justice, bigger than expected. The kitchen had the essentials plus some. Perfect for families. Everything you need to be comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Convenient location

We have stayed at this property twice as it is very near family in DesMoines. Property is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Almost everything you need is provided. Also very close to Drake university and convenient to downtown DesMoines. Highly recommend.

Great home for family stay

Brought my family with two young kids to Des Moines to visit family. The home worked out well for our visit. The only thing worth noting for young children is there is no bathtub, just a shower (we made it work). The upstairs loft was a nice play area for the kids + cousins when hanging out.

Great house.

We booked the house kind of last minute. Communication was excellent. The house was clean and well stocked. It had everything you needed from towels to cook wear to bandaids. I had two quick messages to the host, and she responded immediately. We would stay there again!

Pictures don’t do it justice!

House is adorable with so much space. It’s even better in person compared to the pictures. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and having coffee on the front porch was perfect. The entire neighborhood is a delight and we enjoyed taking a walk around the area. The 4 of us enjoyed our Girls Weekend very much. Side note: the owner was extremely sweet and helpful to us as well!

May I recommend a natural gas insert for fireplace. Not much of a screen watcher, I rather visit with a fire on when visiting in the winter. Otherwise the property was an excellent venue.

Super comfortable!

We found ourselves suddenly needing to stay an additional week in Des Moines, and snagged up this gem. The kids had fun on the upper floor, playing games and getting out energy. We - adults and kids - had a sleepover up there. So cozy. The kitchen is nicely stocked for preparing meals (pans, Tupperware, serving spoons, bowls). We were happy to have a greater range of dishes than the previous place we rented. Sadly we couldn’t get the gas grill working, but it wasn’t a problem. Overall, highly recommend!

Great Property in a Convenient Location

My family and I chose to stay here during the State Wrestling tournament to be away from all of the busy hotels. It was a very nice property in a quiet neighborhood that had more then enough room for all of us. This property had all of the necessities and than a whole lot more to make the stay more enjoyable. It was beyond nice to end a 12 or 13 hour long day with being able to relax in a living room drinking tea and watching TV while the kids were in the loft and everyone not being on-top of each other. The Property manager was very responsive and made the stay easy and process pleasant. The full size refrigerator and the washer and dryer are something that you take for granite and are nice to have on a longer stay. This property will be our first choice, before any hotels or other houses, when we are in Des Moines.

Not Clean

We were very excited when we arrived, the place is much bigger than in the pictures. However, the house was not clean. The beds were made, but the sheets were obviously dirty from the previous guests. There was hair and crumbs on the sheets. Next to the bed the previous guests had spilled coffee on the nightstand and the sticky coffee stains were still there. The shower was not cleaned after the previous guests, obvious hair that was not ours was all over the base of the shower floor. We are not picky people, but clean sheets is a pretty standard expectation.

Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is so beautiful and well stocked with everything you will need. We stayed with our 2 kids and it was very family friendly. The hosts were amazing, helped us immediately and answered all of our questions when we reached out. Can’t say enough about how kind they were. It’s really close to a grocery store, cute local coffee shop and lots of restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!
