You've just found your new favorite beach house! All is Whelk is a semi-oceanfront home located only 100 yards from the beach and is conveniently located to all Avon Village has to offer. All is Whelk boasts 4 spacious bedrooms, a hot tub, and expansive ocean views.

Ground Level: Ground Level Amenities include a private driveway for parking up to 6 vehicles, a charcoal grill, an outdoor shower, and 300 feet of shared beach access.

Mid Level: As you enter the home, you will find all four bedrooms with Smart TVs, a laundry area, and a covered hot tub area. Bedroom #1 is a King bedroom that shares access to a spacious jack-n-jill full bathroom with Bedroom #2, a Queen Bedroom. Bedroom #3 is furnished with a King bed and Bedroom #4 is furnished with a Twin and Full bed-- both bedrooms share another bathroom off the hallway.

Top Level: As you make your way to the top floor, you are greeted by stunning ocean views from all areas of the Great Room. Enjoy the Smart TV and PlayStation 2 in the living room. The chef's kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, plenty of cookware to prepare today's catch, a breakfast bar that seats 4, and a dining area that seats 6. You will also find a wet bar with a mini fridge, sink, and seating for 3. A half bathroom is also located on this level as well as a pool table in the game room located off the dining area. Step outside to the furnished sun deck to watch the sunrise with your morning coffee or stargaze after a long day in the sun.

Extras: Hot tub, 5 flat screen Smart TVs, WiFi, traditional coffee maker, charcoal grill, deck furniture, outdoor shower, and a pool table. No Smoking/Vaping. No Pets. Distance to beach access: 300 feet. Beds: 2 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full, 1 Twin. Key Type: Keyless Entry. Check-in Location: At the property.

Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Immediately after booking you will receive an email with instructions to electronically sign your lease agreement to complete your reservation. There may be additional optional fees charged to your reservation that may not be able to be listed on this site (examples: pet fee, pool heat, early check in, security deposit, special events, etc.). Travel insurance can be purchased through VRBO or directly through Generali.

Lovely vacation home!

Great Location!

All is Whelk is the PERFECT spot for a beach house! We were just steps away from the beach entrance. The upstairs was very spacious, and was great for hanging out each night. We had an amazing week and would highly recommend!

Wonderful facility for the whole family!

Great location. Avon is perfectly located near the pier, restaurants, stores and great beaches. The facility was perfect for us and our two teens. Hot tub, pool table, multiple TVs and short hop across the street to the beach. Very clean and wonderful neighborhood.

We loved this place!

My husband and I stayed at All is Whelk with his parents (in their 70s) and our 3 teens in August. The view from the main living/dining/kitchen floor is just gorgeous. The house was clean, bright, had a well stocked kitchen and the living area layout is great. We love that it had a pool table right in the main living area too. We did some puzzles, read some books and felt very at home! The bedrooms were comfortable and the location is convenient (close to Food Lion and shopping center as well as the drive-on beach access). The walkway to the beach was right across the street, and the street itself is very quiet and residential. The Kona Ice truck made a regular appearance and always drew a crowd. :) For the older crowd: My husband's parents were happy about the second set of stairs being an interior stair, which was helpful for older, less steady legs and the exterior stairs weren't too steep or overwhelming either. All in all, a very relaxing vacation in a very comfortable and beautiful place :)

Great beach access!

This property is directly across from a wooden walkway for beach access. Extremely convenient for beach goers. Although it was not mentioned in the description. There were 2 beach chairs and plenty of sand toys available. The house was spotless upon our arrival, beds were made, there was plenty of bath towels for everyone. Most everything you would need is there. The only thing you may want bring along or rent as we did is beach towels for everyone.

Another Great Year!

This was our second year staying at All is Whelk, and we had another amazing beach week. The house is the perfect location to the beach (including the beach access) and the restaurants in Avon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at All is Whelk. It was a perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. The home is not overly decorated but that's a good thing. Very safe and kid friendly. The outdoor shower made it very easy to clean off returning from the beach and the mini fridge and bar upstairs made it easy to entertain. Kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils you would need. Our first stay at the outerbanks and the beach access was right across the road. Very sad to see it's already booked for the time we would stay next year and double the price. I would give five stars ⭐️ but there were some unwanted pests outside on the deck.

Great Week at the Beach!

House was clean, comfortable and furnished nicely. Fantastic view from the living level! Linens and towels were good quality, clean and fresh. Beds were very comfortable and loved how the bedrooms all had ceiling fans. It was really hot the week we were there, so the hot tub was only used once. The teens enjoyed the pool table and loved the outdoor shower. We thought since the listing mentioned a grill, that it was a gas grill, but it's charcoal. We made it work for the few times we needed to use it. The only thing I would suggest providing for renters would be beach chairs. I know they can be rented, but it would have been nice for a few to be provided with the house, especially with the close proximity to the beach. One other thing, no fault of anyone.... there was a water main break at the edge of the driveway during our stay. I called Shore Details and they made sure it was taken care of right away by the appropriate town personnel. Overall, a great week away. Thank you!

It is an incredibly convenient location - with a direct walk across the street to the beach and easy access to the stores and restaurants in Avon. Everything was clean and as advertised, and check-in was very easy. The pool table was a big hit with everyone. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful family gathering at “All is Whelk”! It is a very nice house with a great location. We love Avon and the community!! I would have given 5 star but we had to clean when we checked in… the dishes were dirty, kitchen dirty, floors needed vacuuming and the shower curtains were filthy and moldy (we bought new ones), hot tub was neglected and yard was not trim and kept. It is a disservice to this lovely location and to your guests not to attend to these important details. We would go back but only if I can be assured that it will be clean at check in.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at “All is Whelk”. The house was clean when we arrived, the ocean view was beautiful, the path to the beach was right across the street, and there were restaurants and stores just minutes away. The house is decorated well and the kitchen is fully stocked. I only give it four stars because the internet was out from Wednesday through Saturday, which made the smart tv's unusable. We called, but they were unable to resolve the issue. Otherwise- everything about the house was perfect for our family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
