The Space:

Welcome to our beautiful mid-century ranch home in the woods! This listing is for the upstairs only.



This stunning home is newly listed for your next vacation or getaway, recently updated and stocked with everything you will need for an enjoyable stay. Three bedrooms with queen beds sleep up to 6 people comfortably. Also featuring a fully appointed kitchen, a beautiful dining room, a ping-pong table, plenty of outdoor space, and so much more! This listing is for the upper level of this beautiful home, you will have your own private entrance, washer and dryer, living space, kitchen, bedrooms, and restrooms.



There is a downstairs long term tenant at the property. The do not have access to the upstairs.



Within walking distance of Andrews University, this lovely home is also a convenient launchpad to the many attractions and scenic delights of Southwest Michigan. Notre Dame University is about a 28-minute drive down US-31, and the South Bend Airport is about 25 minutes away. Don’t miss the famous dune-lined beaches of Lake Michigan to the west. Take a 5-minute drive to downtown Berrien Springs to check out the local restaurants.



Don't forget to bring charcoal and a fire starter so you can make the most of our complimentary charcoal grill.  And bring some wood to enjoy evenings around the fire pit.



This home is surrounded by woods, so insects and other creatures are part of its natural environment. Bug-phobes need not apply. :)

We liked the house. There was an incident where the basement tenet played their instrument at 10:30pm which woke us up.We complained and it didn't happen again. Otherwise a great stay.

Quiet get away.

It's a beautiful property in a quiet spot, the house is Beautiful We had relaxation in mind and found plenty. And if you like to cook, the kitchen is great. We had a wonderful family stay here.

Basecamp for St. Joseph/Lake Michigan fishing trip

Perfect spot for my Dad and Brothers to bunk for a trip of a lifetime out on Lake Michigan. 23 minutes to the Marina and the little college town had everything we needed. We put the bbq grill and fire pit to good use. Well stocked with clean linens and everything worked without issue.

Wonderful and convenient get away

This worked out perfectly for our family. As an added bonus the house is located close to Andrews University, which allowed us to take advantage of all the walking areas and trails around campus. Apple Valley store had everything we needed if we had to grab anything for a meal. Our location was quiet and tranquil. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I might suggest is new dining room table chairs and a can opener for the kitchen.

Nice - quiet, clean, decorated.

We enjoyed the stay. It was quiet, clean, and nicely decorated. We needed to make sure we didn't make too much noise as to affect the people downstairs. I wish we had seen a sign or label saying that there was a laundry available to us downstairs.

Great experience!

We were just looking for a quiet getaway for the weekend and we were not disappointed. Quiet location. Loved the view out of the back slider. We got to see deer multiple times. The kitchen had everything that we needed to make a wonderful meal. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great experience.

Very Clean

I would most definitely stay again it was very clean and beautiful. But the ppl in the lower level were very loud and slamed there door when leaving which i didn't care for. But over all i loved this home and my stay.

Quiet and beautiful

Very beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. In good condition. Easy communication with management. I didn't realize there was a second unit downstairs and there would be people there. They were quiet and respectful, but it was still a surprise.

Such an adorable place!!

We were looking for St. Joe homes, but with our last minute planning, we were coming up short. This little cutie kept coming up in my search, so we make went for it, and we were PLEASED!! The house is on a small university campus, the area was clean, and felt safe. The home itself was just the cutest place, and we were just ready to move in for life!! It was close enough to St. Joe, and it was a nice place to retire to at the end of each day at the beach. The beds were so very cozy, and Sage was so responsive and wanted to ensure our stay was perfect, and did not disappoint…I will say, the listing is not kidding about the bugs in the woods, but don’t let it be a reason you skip booking this place…I would definitely stay here again…I recommend :)

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOME UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHARE STRANGERS.

When we rented this home, the listing states you have the option to rent the lower level as well, which consists of another bedroom and kitchen. HOWEVER, IT DIDN'T STATE that if you only rent the upstairs they will rent the other space to additional guests. I went thru VRBO because they advertise that no sharing is allowed. We were quite surprised when we heard other voices and slamming of doors. We thought someone was breaking in. We immediately contacted the property manager and she said, yes, in fact, that other people were staying on the same property. They advertise a fire pit, but seem to forget to tell you that you need to share it with strangers. Once we looked at additional reviews, this is an ONGOING Problem. The next day, more people showed up and thought they had rented the house we were in but were then told they only rented the lower level. They partied until 3 am and we didn't sleep the entire night. It was a disaster. Along with sharing, there are no curtains in the living area, living, dining and kitchen, so the people at the fire pit could see in. NO PRIVACY WHATSOEVER The property manager is beyond polite and is quite good at listening to your concerns BUT DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT. I'm sure she will make it look like it was our mistake and that we were hard to work with. She told us there is no way we would get all or part of our money back. I did complain to VRBO, they state they don't allow sharing. i have not heard heard back yet.
