Lots of room

Huge house with lots of common area. Property well cared for. Lots of birds, deer, and a mama fox with 2 pups. Quiet neighborhood close to town but not in town. Great place if you have large group. 1 of the 5 bedrooms is actually attached to one of the other bedrooms so there is no privacy between those two bedrooms, would work great for having young kids close but not so good for couples traveling together.

Memorial trip

Property was perfect for our weekend! Loved the great room and the fireplace! The family of deer were amazing entertainment!

Great space for large groups

We really enjoyed our stay with our family! There were enough beds for everyone and having two kitchens was nice. The game room was fantastic and we played pool and shuffleboard every night. Couldn’t figure out how to use the TV in the movie room, though. We appreciated having enough space for everyone. We did have to buy more dishwasher pods to run the dishwasher and three of the four showers had issues (two pelted whoever was showering pretty violently and the other one screeched while it was on).

Accommodates large groups easily

We recently stayed at this property with a large family group and there was room for everyone. Two kitchens were nice and four bathrooms was great. Really the only complaint was the showers in three bathrooms. They either pelted the person forcefully or made a loud shrieking noise while the water was on. However, we loved playing pool and shuffleboard every night. The gas fireplace was also nice after we replaced the batteries in the remote.

Family time

The home was spacious enough for the 6 adults and 3 young adults. Having the lower floor with it's own bedrooms, bathrooms, Kitchen and game room (pool table, shuffle board and large table for cards) made it a great place for our 3 young adults. Upstairs front room was a great gathering place to plan out our adventures and play games. The huge dining table was great and easily fit all 9 of us comfortably. Outside we saw deer, quail and a skunk by the pond. I would recommend this home to others.

Wonderful Family Home

I took 10 family members and we truly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, plenty of fun games and activities in the house and wonderful walks and hikes by the ocean. Can’t be beat!

Fun and relaxing

This home was so fun and quirky. We had an amazing time and hope to stay here again. It had so much space and the game room made it so much fun. Only down fall was the table was no conducive to playing board games. Lots of pans and amenities in the kitchen made it easy to cook all meals in for the entire weekend.

Spacious home for families

Perfect place for family gatherings. Solid home built large and spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Great upstairs kitchen for cooking and visiting. Downstairs kitchen used for extra groceries. Safe and lite stairs for nighttime. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Would have been better if we had heat downstairs but propane ran out. And be sure to ask if the sauna is working before you rent. It’s advertised but unknown when it actually was ever used. Last two things I mentioned the property manager had no knowledge of until we brought it up. Loved our stay!

Wonderful vacation rental

The house was very roomy. We loved having so many different areas to spread out in. Both kitchens were well stocked. Loved having 2 laundry rooms as well. We really enjoyed the game room and basketball hoop. Very quiet location. I did not give 5 stars because the floors were quite dirty (made everyone’s bare feet black) and the inside of the kitchen cabinets looked like they could use a good scrubbing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Perfect Family Getaway House.

My family was in Mendocino for my daughter's wedding weekend. This house was just perfect for mine and my sister's family. We had a total of 9 staying at the house and there was plenty of more room, if we would have needed for anyone else to stay. The layout of the house was nice and roomy and everyone enjoyed the game room downstairs. We had a Shuffleboard Tournament one night. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Wonderful multi generational property!

We had so much fun! The fantastic game room (shuffle board, pool table, and big round card table for cards is located downstairs so if you have littles they are not disturbed by the laughter as they can be upstairs and our monitor had no problem receiving the transmission. Big kitchen/great room for hanging out. Our family brought their gaming gear and had multigenerational competitions in the den/tv room. Fun, fun, fun!

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

Awesome place to stay that has lots of room. We had evening dinners and game nights there. The table held room for 12 adults playing Phase10 or Uno Flip, we had a blast. The younger kids had a great time playing pool, theirs tablets or watching TV on the first floor while the adults played upstairs. We look forward to doing this again in the future

Clean and spacious

We enjoyed our stay, celebrating a 50th birthday. The house was very clean and large. Plenty of space to be together and separate. The main living space is upstairs and well appointed. Lots of dishes and cutlery and a HUGE round table to dine at. I felt like it was a tree house. The property is very private and expansive. We loved the pool table and shuffleboard and very surprised to find a basketball hoop and balls! The beds were mostly comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioners. My only negative is that the downstairs area was COLD. If you are renting during the winter, bring a jacket for any nighttime fun downstairs. It was an 5 minute drive to the closest beach and about 8 minutes to downtown. Overall it’s a perfect choice for a large group.

Family Night's rest

Loved the two kitchens and the adequate cooking ware, dining ware and accessories. We shared three dinners there with a group larger than were staying and I think the layout was very accomodating.

Great for families

Great location, secluded on beautiful property but close to town. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own room. Little hard finding the property at first.
