Great stay

Our second stay at this property. Has everything you need for a home away from home. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of everything. Communication with property manager/owners very easy. The area is beautiful and unique, down a little side road but is close to everything. Definitely will be back.

Highly Recommend

This was a prefect rental for our group of 6. Check in and out was very easy. The house and property was very nice. It was raining our whole stay so we were not able to enjoy outside very much, but the house had a ton of room and entertainment options for us. Highly recommend!

Great, central place to hit the Bourbon Trail

We had a fantastic stay at this charming home! It was perfect for our group of three couples as we explored the Bourbon Trail during the day. The house had plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind in the evenings. We especially enjoyed the cozy campfires outside and game nights in the living room. The location was convenient, and the peaceful setting made it easy to recharge after a day of distillery tours. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and fun retreat!

Amazing Property!

Kentucky Bourbon Festival

The property was great we could not have found a better place to stay for the Bardstown Bourbon Festival. Plenty of room for 9 adults to stay plus so much to do on property we never got board. Fire pit with smores at night fishing in pond (caught 14 fish released them back). Every morning woke up to deer in the yard just a wonderful time.

Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful cabin, quiet retreat for our family reunion event. Loved the screened in porch with a Fabolous view of the pond, fire pit and well. Maintained back yard. Perfect place to unwind.

Look Nowhere Else

We took five of our grandkids (ages 10-17) on a mini spring break, and this A+ property exceeded our expectations for comfortable accommodations, the variety of amenities, convenience, ease of access, seclusion, and value. The property is so well designed that it provides many great spaces to stretch out, gather, play, or get away by yourself regardless of the weather. Excellent!!

Beautiful house and property. Lots of supplies and amenities that made out stay extra enjoyable. Kitchen was well stocked with trash bags, paper plates, spices and everything needed for cooking. We would have benefited from the baby gate being installed properly and a hair dryer but we definitely would give 5 starts across the board. We enjoyed the fishing in the pond and the kids loved the kayak. We even caught a few fish.

Beautiful and peaceful property

This home is tucked away off of a tiny one lane road and next to a car repair shop. Don't let that dissuade you -- it is beautifully kept, spacious and well equipped. Sitting by the fire pit was my favorite activity, and listening to all the sounds of nature. They have thought of everything here - if you forget to bring something, don't worry about it because it's here. I have been to many other VRBO rentals and this is right up there at the top. Extremely comfortable beds, plenty of towels, kitchen tools, dishes and everything you need to feel right at home. On top of that, super clean and lovely decor. Importantly, everything works as it should. The property manager is only a text away and reached out to me to check if everything was as I expected. I thought this was a really nice thing to do as it's never happened with another rental. Attention to detail is always appreciated. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Home Near Bernheim Forest!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Overall a very peaceful location, though there was some light noise from a neighboring motorsports business and the main road. Lots of wildlife and amazing stargazing at night!The booking and check-in process were seamless, and the guest contact went above and beyond by accommodating early check-in and late check-out, which was so appreciated since I was running a marathon and we could only stay two nights. The listing was spot-on, and the house was clean, VERY spacious, and well-maintained.Beautiful decor throughout and house was not full of clutter. There was plenty of room for a larger group, and we especially appreciated the large dining table in the Florida porch. The beds were very comfortable and more than enough space with huge closets in every bedroom.The kitchen had plenty of dishes and every spice imaginable. The house also has some thoughtful touches like a built-in gate at the top of the basement stairs (great for pets or kids!) and tons of firewood for cozy nights by the fire. Our group really enjoyed the pool table, dart board, and fishing as well!The master bedroom had a ton of ladybugs and the upstairs queen bedroom is directly above the downstairs bedroom, which can be a noise issue due to the hardwood floors, but neither were a deal-breaker for us.There's plenty to do without ever leaving the property and we definitely would have loved more time to relax and enjoy this place! Highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

Bourbon Trail Wilderness Lodge

We ABSOLUTELY loved the lodge. The host was so gracious in all their special touches. I can't imagine a season that this lodge wouldn't make every visit special. Our family is forever grateful for our memories shared this special Christmas season. Our 5 year old Granddaughter has decided she is moving there. ; )This place is truly a beautiful. We LOVED it.

Great location, great house!

For this trip we had three couples visiting the bourbon trail. The house set up perfect for us, each couple had their own full bath attached to their bedroom. The house is fully appointed with everything needed for short or long stays. There are wonderful outside spaces and the basement made for fun times shooting pool. The decor is very nice without being overdone. The location is also terrific. It’s off of a busier road, down a quiet private drive. It happens to be right across from the Four Roses Bottling Plant. We had no idea this even existed and were able to get an unexpected tour there. It’s also super convenient to Bardstown, about 15 minutes away, where we had dinner twice and nightly stops at the liquor store. We had a great time on our trip and having a great house to go back to at the end of the day made it even better.

Beautiful and peaceful stay

This home is tucked away on a little one-lane road next to a car repair shop. Don't let that dissuade you -- it is very quiet and secluded. The decor is lovely and it is extremely well equipped. There are multiples of everything - towels, dishes, kitchen gadgets. You name it and it is here. The property manager is only a text away. She actually reached out to me to check if everything was as expected. I have stayed in many rentals and that was a first for me. There are many things to do in the area but I was perfectly happy to just sit on the porch or by the fire pit and listen to the frogs and birds. Also extremely clean and new feeling. My only complaint is I am not a fan of the Nest thermostat but I understand why people use them. I highly recommend this property.
