We enjoyed our stay. We would have liked to get more use of the lovely patio but the weather wasn’t on our side. We’ll have to return in the warmer months. Our only complaint would be, we weren’t able to load Netflix on the tv, and some of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Other than that it was great!

Lovely private condo unit and within walking distance of the Vesuvius Bay ferry, and a great little restaurant. Kitchen was well equipped and beds and linen were very comfy. Little garden patio was delightful!

The place was fantastic!! Very clean and tidy, the interior looked brand new - love the private outdoor patio and ocean view. The location was great. Easy to get into Ganges and the rest of Salt Spring. And catching the ferry from Vesuvius couldn't be any easier since it was right next door. We will definitely book this place again when we come back to Salt Spring!!

Accommodation was ok. I feel a few added items would be nice, paper towels, Kleenex, salt, pepper, oil. The beds were ok, but could use better pillows and more blankets. Overall the accommodation did the trick.

The pictures don't do the condo justice. It's super cute, clean, and perfect for a family visiting Salt Spring. I was here for a wedding, and the venue was 3 minutes away! It was right by the ferry that comes over from Crofton, so you would think it might be loud and busy. Nope!! So peaceful. Took full advantage of the patio. As well as being able to walk to the beach. Beds were super comfy as well! I've already passed the listing on the other friends, because we enjoyed it so much. Hope to come back to visit Salt Spring again. 🇨🇦❤️

Unfortunately we only had a peekaboo water view. The instructions on how to access the ‘key’ we learned from speaking with other people staying there as the instructions I was emailed were not complete. There was no coffee, sugar, tea, etc. which I have never encountered in any of the many places I have stayed! Trying to watch the TV was impossible BUT the condo was really nice, very comfortable beds, lots of amenities. There was a great restaurant across the street. The waiting area for the Vesuvius Bay terminal was just down the road. We drove our car down to get in line for the ferry and walked back to the condo. A great little beach in walking distance.

Very nice property, in excellent condition, well looked after and very clean. Only a very minor complaint about lack of supplies - paper towels, serviettes, salt and pepper etc. Overall, we loved our stay.

Spacious and clean place, great for families. Like the easy ground level/patio access. 5-7min walk to Vesuvius beach, especially at sunset, was a highlight. Lovely local bath products. If you plan to use the kitchen to cook, definitely bring your own condiments, paper towels, tea and coffee. TV only worked for cable, the Netflix/YouTube/smart apps weren't working so don't count on that too much.

Vesuvius Perfection

The villa was spotless and absolutely perfect for what we needed. The patio provided a little bit of extra space for our busy toddler and the second bedroom was a perfect place for our baby to sleep. Peaceful, relaxing, short walk from the beach. Would stay again and again!

Lovely stay and the unit is exactly as pictured. The location is super and we loved the patio outside. Unit was clean and well maintained. I was happy to have read other reviews that advised that things like coffee, paper towel, olive oil are not provided, so I was able to bring my own.

Beautiful apartment

We loved our stay at this property. The ground floor patio was very private and so relaxing to sit out on and BBQ on. The condo is very clean and updated and the bedrooms do stay quite cool. Would definitely return.

Amazing stay for a weekend getaway to attend a wedding

My wife and 2 friends rented this property to attend a wedding for the weekend and it was an amazing location close to the venue. It had a large living room, 2 bed and 2 ensuites (which is a major plus) and a huge patio to relax. The place had all amenities except for paper towel but we were able to manage. Would recommend this place.

Perfect weekend getaway

We were here for 3 nights. The check in was easy, everything was spotless. Beds were a bit sacked - could use replacing. Not horrible, but definitely not the best. Kitchen was well appointed, did not want for anything. Nice location. I liked that there was good parking available, the patio was a welcome treat. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to others.

We are Mike McCann and Elaine Buck McCann. Along with three dogs, seven goats and several chickens and ducks, we are Raven Wolf Farm, located on the north end of Salt Spring Island. We are earth conscious subsistence farmers who produce our own food and share our bounty with our community. We live closely with our land and the creatures who share it with us and we truly love this little slice of paradise known as Salt Spring Island. We are committed to living in harmony with the natural world. You will not find any single use products in the suite, so you may wish to bring your own paper products (paper towel, tissues) and condiments (coffee, tea, spices, etc). You will find earth friendly personal care and cleaning products and practices as well as luxurious linens and bedding that is line dried (weather permitting). We hope that you will enjoy your stay!
