Nestled on an active 5 acre farm and event venue, this peaceful cottage offers a perfect retreat for work or play- a place to relax, recharge or find inspiration.

This cute cottage, decorated with the work of various local artists, offers the perfect blend of rural tranquility and modern comforts, from high-speed internet to on-site laundry, your needs are met.

Step outside onto the private deck with your morning coffee and enjoy the nature. You can hear the birds, admire the trees and gardens, pet a cat and observe the funny ducks waddling past.

The entire cottage is available for your use. A key will be left in the front door. Once you go through the green gate, there is space for 3 cars, two on the right, across from the cottage and one in front. Please close the green gate behind you so the deer don't enter and the ducks don't get out.

You will find a comfortable bedroom with locally hand-made cotton bedding, a queen size futon couch in the living room with blankets and pillows and a queen size foamy mattress up in the loft. The cottage can sleep a total of 6 people but there is only one room with full privacy with a door that closes.

It is very cozy with board games, puzzles and books available, as well as a flat screen TV that you can hook up to your laptop to enjoy a movie. Or curl up with a book, cook a meal or order from the Rock Salt restaurant that is nearby, take a bath or visit a nearby lake or beach for a swim, go for a stroll or hike the beautiful mountains and hills that adorn the island, find refuge in the forests, the possibilities are endless.

The farm occasionally hosts musical events and workshops. The energy here is alive, vibrant and harmonious.

Close to the village and ferry terminal in Fulford, the cottage offers convenience with restaurant, café, shops, gallery and post office. Other close venues include the Fulford Community Hall, Harvest Kitchen and Drummond Park. It's a friendly, artistic community with a relaxed pace, beaches, hikes and gorgeous views. Salt Spring Island is magical.

The larger town Ganges is a 20minute drive north and Ruckle Park is a 15 minute drive south.

Very cute cabin. Accommodated 2 adults and 2 teens perfectly! Easy to access from ferry. Can walk to get coffee but have to drive to access everything else. Host was accommodating and kind.

This was the perfect spot to stay over a long weekend while we attended a friend's wedding nearby. Christina was a wonderful and communicative host, who even extended the invite to us to join in a gathering she was hosting at the main house up the drive. The cottage was comfortable, private, clean, and well stocked, and the property was lovely and peaceful with mature fruit trees and lots of shade. We especially enjoyed visits from Paprika the cat on our little deck! One thing to note is that the driveway is a little steep and bumpy, so should be taken cautiously with cars with low clearance. Overall a lovely stay, and we'd definitely come back.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 11 and 7 year old children). It was clean and a cool temperature despite hot weather. The tv came in handy during a bout of rain and we signed into our streaming with ease. The girls loved their visits from ‘Paprika’ the cat, who lets you know you the rent is due in the form of cuddles that are rewarded with loud purring. We would definitely rent again. Thank you.

This place is very cute and cozy. It's very comfortable and clean! The ducks are very cute too. My only suggestion is when you are coming to stay, bring some camp chairs or something comfortable for sitting outside! Other than that it is perfect

Clean, comfortable space in a great location on Salt Spring Island. Hosts were very easy to contact and let us check in early which was greatly appreciated. Highlights: comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great location, space was very clean, fresh plums on arrival was a very sweet touch Areas for improvements/advice for future guests: ill-equipped for 6 people. We were a group of 3, but any more than 4 would struggle (not enough seats around the dining table, sofa only fits 3-4 people max, no additional lounging chairs). Driveway requires a 4WD; it was steep and gravelly Stairs to the loft sleeping space are steep and feel quite exposed. Option to use the futon in the lounge if you get vertigo/scared of heights! Overall would recommend to others and would come again. Thank you!

Loved the cottage but the road access is poorly maintained full of deep potholes. Location & cottage fantastic though. Suggest a second mirror perhaps behind the bedroom door since only a small mirror in the bathroom was quite limiting.Host was very kind. Cottage was lovely but we did use a brown duvet from the bedroom closet that gave 1 of the girls a rash. It was smelly & unclean.

Thank you for your honest comments. The driveway is getting new gravel this week. Sorry you visited before that could happen. And the blanket in the bedroom closet was one a guest had left there that I stashed out of the way. The linen closet in the hallway is where there were extra towels, wash cloths, hand towels and fresh linen with an extra clean duvet and extra set of pillows. There were two fresh duvets on the master bed, one in the loft and a fourth one in the linen closet in the hallway. I should have indicated that more clearly.

We can't thank the host enough. Not only was it as described online, but so much more. This is a magical land that feels like home no matter where you're from. The warmth, the cleanliness, the safety and the care. The host clearly wants you to feel cared for. Our 2 little girls loved it (their loft!) and we benefited from our own room. We also appreciated the use of a kitchen. Walking distance to amazing shops and restaurants, short drive to main town hub. Hiking everywhere close. Enjoy this gem of a find
