Immerse yourself in nature at `Primrose`, designed for nature lovers looking to experience peacefulness and serenity in-between the Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake areas of KY. The complete window wall on both sides of the cabin will allow you to fully be at one with the nature surrounding you. Or close the curtains for ultimate privacy! Slide into the bubbly hot-tub and forget all your worries! Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake are approximately 45+ minutes from this very secluded property.

Non-smoking, pet-free.
Kitchen: Stove, Microwave, Regular coffee maker, toaster and other necessities to make cooking breeze.
Living: Comfortable seating, WiFi, Roku TV, fireplace.
Bedroom : King Bed
Bathroom: 1 Full Bathroom
Outdoor: Spacious deck with outdoor furniture, private hot tub, propane grill with grilling utensils, and firepit. Please note that the gravel driveway is very steep and narrow. Make sure to check out the drone pictures of the driveway!

- Fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! (Starter packs include: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, shampoo and conditioner, bar soap, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge.) Please purchase firewood locally.
- Please Note: 4WD is HIGHLY recommended. Primrose is located up a long and steep gravel driveway. Please review drone pictures of the driveway to determine if this is doable for your vehicle. Limited parking.
- Very secluded location between Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake. Close to a multitude of adventuring opportunities such as hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, ziplining, boat tours and more! Natural Bridge State Park in Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake in Morehead, KY are both approximately 45 minutes away.
- Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds or date modifications within 14 days or less of your arrival.
- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in our area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.
- Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year’s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

There is no pool. Did not use hot tub. The driveway is unacceptable. It requires a Four Wheel Drive vehicle, and there is no turnaround at the top, making backing down in low light/rain a bit treacherous, with steep hills and an open ditch from runoff, just unacceptable. This should be noted in the listing. When we arrived, the code did not work, nor did the internet. We waited outside for a while, but the property manager finally called and got us in. I personally reconnected and reset the internet router/wifi and provided the manager with a new PW. Not a fan of so many windows, feels like a fishbowl.

It was a very cute place Tucked back in a forest area Plenty of privacyUnfortunately, it rained during our trip so we did not get to utilize the full amenities of the placeWe enjoyed our stay The host was very responsiveThis is not a complaint on the place just a heads up if you’re using Google maps or Apple Maps it puts you approximately 100 yards short of where the driveway is located and if you arrive when it’s dark, it would be easy to messWe reached out to the host and they responded very quickly with some good directions

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We loved the secluded and quiet location. My only critiques are the steep gravel drive needs some attention, the refrigerator is quite noisy at night while trying to sleep, and the overall housekeeping could be better. The ceiling fan in the bedroom is very dusty, and cobwebs in several places.

Absolutely such a fantastic getaway! This is our second time here … spent three days here for our 10th anniversary. The cabin has been so clean both times. The layout is lovely, the hot tub is fantastic, the decorations are perfect. Really makes for an enjoyable time! I knew from our first stay that restaurants aren’t too close, but that’s okay since we really just wanted to hang around and enjoy the cabin. The kitchen had everything I needed for basic cooking, even including some spices. We are already planning our next stay!

Bought steaks for dinner but grill was not useable. Other than that our stay was amazing. Love opening the curtains and letting the natural light in.

This is an amazing little getaway spot. It was clean and is immaculately decorated with tons of windows and gorgeous views. We enjoyed both the hot tub and fire pit. There are a few things that could be improved. The shower had no hot water, my husband takes cooler showers and it was too cold for him as well. Even though it says they provide shampoo and body wash, the products are very small so I would suggest you bring your own. A list of directions for things would be helpful. It took us forever to find the plug for the party lights in the back. The WiFi is not great but that’s not why we came so it was fine with us. The remote to the TV died and we could not find the charger for it and it didn’t take batteries. So a list of those little things would be so helpful. You’re supposed to wash the dishes but there’s no drying rack or kitchen towels. The cabin and surroundings were both gorgeous and we loved it other then the cold water.

The property is a great getaway, secluded and well maintained. Unfortunately, in the title of the listing and one of the appeals for staying here is "WiFi" and it was unavailable for the entirety of the stay. The property owner did send someone out to look at it, but the issue was never resolved. Due to spotty cell service, it was hard to get messages out to the owner and to receive messages concerning the WiFi and checkout procedures. We also have family who are ill or need to be able to contact us, so our phones stayed in a corner of the cabin where service dropped in and out in case they tried to reach out. While the internet issues may not be the fault of the owner, when the TV relies on internet, there's no way to watch, stream movies, or anything of that nature and cell-phones are nearly useless. As that was part of the advertised amenities, and in the name of the listing, I would have expected some reimbursement for the stay.Otherwise, the cabin is very nice, the hot tub took a while to warm up, but was enjoyable as well. Our entry code did not work, but it was resolved by the owner once we were able to find service enough to send it out and receive messages. I will echo the owner that you have to have a good 4x4 or similar vehicle as it is straight up a giant hill on a rock road. The WiFi was a big deal to us, but if that is resolved, we highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful stay… but be aware of steep driveway

The property was in a gorgeous location in Red River Gorge and the stay was nice. The driveway was very steep. We were thankful to be in a truck, but vehicles that sit lower to the ground would likely get stuck. We could also foresee this being tricky if there had been a lot of rain. I chose this property because it had wifi and the wifi never worked. We tried everything to reset it and contacted the property manager. They said they would try to send someone out, but no one ever came. Very disappointed for that reason. There is hardly any cell service in the area and my door code did not initially work upon checkin. Luckily I had enough service to call and was able to get in. Loved this little property, but wish the amenities listed had actually been available.

Upon check in the code was wrong, then called the number provided 15 minutes (working hour and 20minutes) finally spoke to a lady who gave us a different code to enter.. we attempted to use the WiFi connection, the password didn’t work and couldn’t access during our stay… Called again to ask for assistance The maintenance was being sent out the next morning and never showed up…Other than that the stay was perfect House was a pleasurable experience Definitely will visit again….

Amazing space!!

My husband and I had a lovely long weekend here! The space is incredibly restful. The natural light from the windows makes the whole space so pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub while we were there as well! We were in contact with maintenance while we were there regarding the Wi-Fi and they were very polite and helpful. We brought all our own food and due to a road closure because of historic flooding not long before we came, we had to take a longer way in and didn’t have any close groceries or gas so I was so glad I had brought what we needed. If the road had been open, groceries and a few restaurant options would have been somewhat closer, but still, this was a secluded cabin which is exactly what we wanted. We’d love to come back!!

This was our third time here. It's a lovely cabin but the hot tub was not hot enough. The string lights outside were not functional. I inquired the first day and they said they would send someone to fix them the next day. They did not which was disappointing.

Beautiful Cabin!

10/10 Recommend. This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin itself was clean and modern yet cozy - the floor to ceiling windows provide amazing views. It comes fully equipped with everything you need to grill out or make dinner inside, plus a hot tub + fire pit to enjoy the evening. We'd definitely go back! Side note: the driveway is a bit steep and I would recommend driving something that has all-wheel or 4-wheel drive in case you need a little extra pep to get up the hill.
