Nice house, very poor preparation
Quite a hard first evening as there were not enough sheets for the guests (double bed made up but none on the single beds) and no one was available to bring any until the next day. Just two towels for four people. I think this may have been an issue with bookabach details/messages not getting through to bachcare. Not a single spare sheet or towel on the property though. Wifi wasn't switched on or properly plugged in and router was hidden away in a bedroom wardrobe. The hot water cylinder wasn't on, so cold showers for our first night. And the outside taps weren't connected so no ability to rinse wetsuits etc. No reply from manager when I asked them to pass on our poor experience to the owner and have them consider some contribution towards our payment for a poor first night. Not even an apology. Spent nearly $1000 for two nights so I wasn't the really the value we hoped for. Will be a nice place to stay once they get their systems sorted.
