These tiny eco dwellings have been custom built to compliment the principles of “Forest Therapy’ or “Shinrinyoku’ which is a popular practice in Japan. Shinrin means “forest” and yoku means “bath.”

Shinrin-yoku means bathing in the forest atmosphere, or taking in the forest through our senses. It is a researched based therapeutic modality with multi-factorial health benefits including stress reduction and elevating mood; and is impacting the world.

Beautiful and tranquil place - it was so amazing to be surrounded by so much nature. A perfect getaway from busy life. The outdoor bath was amazing especially in this cooler weather - would recommend this to anyone who needs some time away. Thanks Heather!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Qii Lodge. It was so peaceful and cozy in the cabin. The walk on the property was a lovely 20 minute amble through temperate rainforest. Thank you for such a lovely retreat!

Everything about our stay at Kokoro was absolutely wonderful and so much fun. Cosy and cute tiny house. Beautiful setting in the Otways with a lovely forest walk on the property. Amazing trip

My friends and i stayed at this property for a weekend get away and it was such an amazing experience the hosts were lovely and the place was clean and beautiful, i definitely would recommend this place to everyone i will be returning in the future

We had 2 lovely days in our Tiny Eco Cabin. There was all we needed and very relaxing and comfortable. The ourdoor bath was fabulous. We loved our stay.

Beautiful Oasis

We found our stay at Kokoro to be probably the best part of our trip to Melbourne. The outside bath was so lovely to soak in while listening to the sounds of the forrest. It was quite overcast and raining while we were there but it made it even better! If we ever return, we would absolutely stay here again.

True to its name, it is tiny, but very cosy. The surroundings are beautiful. I had a hot bath in the outdoor bath, looking up at the rainforest and reflecting on the fact that it was completely silent except for the sound of birds and wind - something that I had not experienced in all my life.

Romantic getaway in the Ottways

Wonderful tiny house with beautiful surrounds. Heather was an amazing host who drove over an hour to help us out with an issue. Great location only 15-20 minutes away from Lorne town centre.
