We’ve visited this property in multiple seasons, and it never disappoints. This visit, we were welcomed by twinkling holiday lights perfectly complementing the retro charm of the farmhouse. It’s the perfect place for a long weekend getaway—or for as long as you can stay.

We got to meet our host, Chad, when we arrived. He was very responsive and the house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook and the home was comfortable. My only ding on the house, and this is a design issue, is that if all three bedrooms are being used and you’re not in one of them, you’ll have no access to a bathroom as there is no bath open to the den/kitchen/sitting area in the house. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this home for your visit to Hendersonville or as a home base for exploring the area.

Beautiful Vacation Rental

Spent several nights and can’t say enough about this beautiful home! Nice quiet location with comfortable deck with plenty of pretty flowers! The home was super clean and had absolutely anything you may need during your visit! Also Chad was always available and accommodating!

Quite a Farmhouse! More like a mini-resort.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home and peaceful surroundings throughout. Our host person and host canine were as accommodating as can be. We can't wait to go back for our next visit.

What a great place to stay!

We wanted to find a nice play to call our base while we explored Hendersonville, NC. This was an amazing choice! Minutes from downtown, in a quiet area, very roomy with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Amazing farmhouse!!!

This place has it all. We visit the carolinas for the past 15 years every winter and summer and there is always something off with our stays. This time everything was perfect..from the kitchen to the bathrooms..the size of every room. We will for sure be back

Incredible Stay!!

We were looking for and couple nights stay close to the Flat Rock Playhouse that was quite and clean. The Featherstone Farm House was incredible and exceeded all our expectations! Furnishing we incredible, the kitchen was had all the utensils we needed, etc, etc. We will be back!!

Getaway

This was the 5th time I have stayed at one of the Featherstone properties. They are immaculately maintained and a comfortable place for a relaxing getaway. Convenient location for day trips to many sites and Hendersonville has many great restaurants! We will be back!

Home away from home….

We’ve just returned home from our third stay at the Farmhouse in the past year! The home is comfy and extraordinarily clean. It’s close to town but set back away from town on 3 private acres along with the owners quarters and 2 other rental units. Chad is a joy to work with and checking in is easy! We absolutely love this place!

We were very comfortable and relaxed at Featherstone. The house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well-stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Great location, close to downtown, but private. Chad was a responsive host. We hope to come back soon.

Nicest house we've ever stayed in!

Featherstone is tucked away on an expansive piece of property, giving it a rural feeling. The spacious house is beautifully furnished, equipped and decorated, and our interactions with Chad and Izzie contributed to our enjoyment. If there's a downside, it's that we would like to have had walking trails close-by, but there's plenty of hiking and walking a short drive away in every direction.

Ringing in 2023 Family Style

The property was beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. It is a close proximity to downtown Hendersonville, Dupont State Park, Pisgah National Forest and Asheville. Chad and his dog Izzy are wonderful hosts and available to answer any questions you have about the property or make recommendations for restaurants/things to do in the area.
