This large and beautiful home comfortably sleeps 14. Amenities include a private outdoor pool & hot tub, outdoor gas fire pit, gas grill, large deck, 2 full kitchens, indoor pool table, wood-burning fireplace, and stunning views of the pond and Blue Ridge Mountains. The upstairs living room is a step down and bedrooms 2 and 3 are a step up entry. Pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day and is not heated.

This mountain escape was everything we hoped for—peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning views. The home had everything that was needed for our girls weekend away! The host was friendly and communicated everything clearly. Can’t wait to come back!

Just as great as the listing suggests. We found this spot for an annual trip that a group of 10-14 friends take ever year. Plenty of space for multiple couples, and spread out enough that people do not disturb each other if they go to bed at different times. The property is beautiful, great place to hang by the pool with friends or spread out in the house for a relaxing weekend

Nice big house on a great property

Went for a friends weekend, the house comfortably fit a few couples plus kids and was as advertised - pretty good quality beds and other furniture, a well appointed kitchen, and great views even in winter.

Charming Ladies Weekend Away

We had a lovely time during our ladies weekend at Crest Hill. The house was exactly described - perfect place to enjoy the SPECTACULAR view and just relax and recharge with friends. Connie was a wonderful host for us, keeping in communication before and during our stay. And the whole property was lovely with so many fun places to explore and animals to visit. We will absolutely be returning to for future getaways.

Great stay in the beautiful Virginia countryside

We really enjoyed our stay and exploring the grounds of Castleton. We had 4 families there for Thanksgiving and the home layout worked well us. The house was well equipped with what we needed. The rooms and decor are slightly barren and outdated, but it mattered little to us. With some updates, this property could really shine. The management company was great and responsive to any needs or questions. We would stay there again.

Nice property but needs some upgrades

Although this house was very nice for our family of 15, with a big dining table, big kitchen & living areas, and a nice pool, a few things needed attention. The outdoor furniture was old and falling apart and the cushions were dirty and shabby. It would have been nice to really enjoy sitting outside on some decent furniture. Also, altho the kitchen was very nice and they had plenty of appliances, they really could use some decent serving dishes. Other than two plastic bowls, there were not enough pieces to serve in. These upgrades would have made a huge difference at little cost. It was disappointing that such a nice house would have such crummy outdoor furniture and cheap kitchen items.

Farm House is the only property that is NOT pet friendly.

Castleton Farms is a sprawling, 500-acre compound at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park with a working animal farm, fishing ponds, and gorgeous views.
