Fully equipped kitchen; 3 piece bath; bar counter; living room with propane fire stove. 15 minute walk to the village; great restaurants and shops; winery, brewery and golf nearby; Foley Mountain Conservation area and Lion’s Beach a 5-minute drive.

Beautiful Lakeside Cottage

Lovely cottage with beautiful view of the lake. Very clean. Hosts provided information about local shops and restaurants. Very comfortable stay for a small family.

Spectacular Lakeview cottage

Great cottage with great access to the lake with dock. Location is close to everything. Easy to communicate with owners. Always helpful. Second visit. Hope to go back next year.

Wonderful Stay!

This place was wonderful! Cozy little cottage and very clean! Barbara was a pleasure. The cottage is close to the main house but our hosts gave us all the privacy and respected our space. It was truly a great place to stay and loved being so close to Westport village, Foley mountain, and the public beach. Beautiful experience. Chantal and Brian

Gem on the upper rideau

The pictures did not do it justice. Beautiful spot plenty of outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the lake and also a great dock. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The cottage was just what I was looking for and very clean. Close enough to town that I could walk.

Westport getaway

We felt the accuracy of the online listing somewhat lacking. We were looking for a cottage but this was more like a granny flat with very close proximity to the main house. As a result, we felt overall there was a lack of privacy one would expect in a cottage listing, including a dedicated parking area for the rental so we as guests don't feel like we are intruding on the owners parking area and walking on their property to get to ours. There was ample outdoor space, but we were interrupted with a day (Saturday) of owner's guests (adults and kids) going back and forth in front and behind the property to access an adjacent lot where there was a birthday party going on. Had the host mentioned this to us in advance, we probably would not have had concerns about it. Of course, we want everyone to have fun. But as it was, the owner only acknowledged/apologized for this after our stay. As for the amenities, the living room furniture was dated and uncomfortable; one patio door in particular needs attention as the screen door could not open/close easily; bbq had a rusty grill which needs replacing; and both patio umbrellas needed repair. The location and proximity to the town of Westport was great. We enjoyed exploring the area, local shops, restaurants and hiking in Foley Conservation area. Unfortunately for us the weather wasn't great for swimming or paddle boating. But we enjoyed the evening fire pits.
