Secluded location on a cul de sac & creek, near amenities, mountains & beach.

Our home is on a quiet cul-de-sac. We are minutes from the Park Royal Shopping Center and local transport. We are also close to restaurants and specialty stores, the North Shore mountains as well as the beach. There are also golf courses close by. **Please note that the times listed by VRBO to and through Vancouver and other locations are not accurate and are dependent upon the Lions Gate Bridge traffic.**
The beautifully remodeled Cape Cod house is on a 1/2 acre property with well-maintained gardens and a secluded backyard overlooking a creek. The backyard is partially fenced as well as a low brick wall above a drop to the creek.
On the top floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a large 6-piece ensuite and a private deck. The main floor has an open plan gourmet kitchen with a large island and eating area with access to the front patio and a back deck.Watch the hummingbirds while enjoying breakfast at the island counter bar. The main floor includes a dining room, living room with deck access, and a sitting family room with TV and the powder room. On the lower floor is a third bathroom with a shower, a media TV room with a pullout sofa bed and access to the backyard. The large deck off the living room has an outside table with umbrella and seating for 6.
Sit on one of the decks in the back yard and enjoy the peace and tranquility while listening to the sounds of the creek. Or enjoy the beautiful garden and the goldfish in the small pond on the intimate patio in the front yard.
Take a short 20-minute walk along the Capilano River down to Ambleside beach or take a short drive up to the local North Shore mountains to enjoy all the available activities. Vancouver city-centre, less than 5 km away, is easily accessible by local transit or car. You can catch the ferry to Vancouver Island at the terminal at Horseshoe Bay, which is only 15 minutes away. Also, the drive to Whistler Mountain is less than two hours.
Two mountain bikes are available for use by arrangement. Netflix & Amazon Prime are available on the TVs.
Length of stays can be adjusted by contacting the host. For longer stays the daily rate can also be adjusted.

Great stay! The hosts were very welcoming. Excellent neighborhood very peaceful along with creek running thru the backyard couldn't ask any better. Only 15 minutes away from the ocean side. Highly recommend this location, Spacious home with the traditional vancouver vibe and modern kitchen

Beautiful house! Beautiful property we had 5 adults and there was lots of room for everyone and no one was “ tripping” over each other. Sherry and Larry were very attentive and quick to respond to any question or need that we had.

Delightful stay

We had a wonderful stay in West Vancouver. Larry and Sherry welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. Although the online pictures are very nice, their home is even nicer in person. They take very good care of the house both inside and out. It is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The location is very convenient.

Delightful West Vancouver Retreat

We had a wonderful time exploring West Vancouver, Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria from this lovely property. Check in was easy and any communication with Larry and Sherry was prompt and helpful. Loved the location as it was easy access to downtown and highways to explore the area but the property was quiet and secluded. A beautiful home equipped with everything needed for a delightful stay. Huge entertainers kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and lovely gardens to enjoy. Couldn't ask for more!

Great home to relax and recharge

Pros: * Huge home with plenty of space for the whole family. * Quiet and safe neighborhood. * Food provided on arrival (enough for a quick breakfast) was a nice touch. * Very close to grocery stores & shopping mall making it easy to stock up the fridge. Cons: * Traffic to/from Vancouver can be busy at times. Overall, great hosts and a great home.

Family trip

Lovely spacious home in an excellent neighborhood. Beautiful gardens and easy access to shops, restaurants and beaches. Traffic over Lions Gate bridge challenging at times, but expected. Well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. For us as a family with small children a few concerns were steep drop at bottom of garden down to creek, numerous ornaments and antiques within reach of little hands! Also be aware there are no coverings on bathroom windows. Sherry assured us that neighbours cannot see because of trees, but I still felt uncomfortable as I could see neighbours in their house and our family in the garden. Overall a lovely property but probably better suited to families with older children.

Amazin vacation house I've ever been.

I've got so many vacations house from the other websites, but this was my first time I got through Vrbo. Let's talk about the house. Honestly before we arrived I thought either the pictures were fake, but when we arrived I was shocked, the house was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. Larry and his amazing wife, they had everything ready, clean house all the things that you need to cook and staying there. She gave us tour and showed us everything. Easy to communicate with them. We already told them we will come back again for next year. Thank you for everything

Our neighborhood is quiet and peaceful away from traffic - a cul-de-sac off a cul-de-sac - but close to amenities and downtown Vancouver, and the north shore mountains.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We are in a unique location with many special attributes. It is quiet and peaceful even though we are minutes to main arteries to downtown Vancouver, shopping, and the North Shore mountains. The protected creek along our backyard is a constant ever changing attraction. As a result, there is an abundance of wild birds in the area. Sometimes you can spot Herons, Eagles or Hawks. (The salmon bearing creek is for viewing only and not accessible).
The house is warm and inviting and painted in warm colours to reflect the style of the Cape Cod design.
