***NOTE THAT I AM AWAY OCTOBER 1-20 2023. I WILL BE ON A SAILBOAT IN THE ARCTIC CIRCLE, WITH NO MOBILE SERVICE OR INTERNET. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESPOND TO MESSAGES, NOR WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO BOOK OUR HOUSE AT THIS TIME. SORRY!
A lovely and peaceful escape from city life, this 150 year old farmhouse is incredibly cozy and private. You have the entire house to yourselves: 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, wifi, wood burning fireplace and the house is air conditioned. There is a TV, VHS and DVD player (with assorted movies) but no cable service.
Surrounded by nature, with the entire house to yourself. Beautiful hikes and conservation areas very close by. Perfect for families or couples that crave some time in the great outdoors.
Guest access
Nature in abundance - all for you to enjoy. And the quaint village of Creemore, with restaurants, galleries, a brewery and interesting shops, is just minutes away.
Other things to note:
The stairs to the second floor are steep and narrow. Perhaps not suitable for someone with knee, hip or mobility issues.
This house is generally rented out for seasonal or monthly periods. Occasionally, it is available for shorter periods. Please feel free contact me to discuss.

I am an artist living in Collingwood, Ontario. My family and I used to live in this farmhouse, but moved to be closer to school. As a result, we rent the house out, with the hope to move back there one day. It is a very peaceful and private spot. People that live in cities seem to especially enjoy it as an escape from their urban lives. You will have the entire house and six acres to yourselves. There surrounding 90 acres is owned by a nature conservancy.
