JJ’s small town country retreat

Take a step back in time to this old farm house. Located on the corner of our little town called Badjeros. This house was built in the 1930s and it’s been in our family for over 80 years. Since then there has been numerous upgrades to the house as well as a large 1200 square foot open concept addition built onto the existing house. While out in the country, this house is central to many attractions in the area 1.5 hours south of Toronto/GTA. Blue Mountain/ Collingwood is 30 minutes north.
The space
This house is best described in 2 large areas.

The large open concept addition with a tall cathedral ceiling lays host to a large games and party room that includes, a large bar, pool table, 86 inch smart tv, piano and a beautiful propane fire place. This room also has a large sectional couch for relaxing and sleeping on as well as a 2 piece bathroom. Out the patio doors is a large back deck that has a hot tub (brand new as of December2023) bbq and seasonal dining and lounging furniture. Underneath this room is a finished basement with an arcade and darts area. Arcade games include Buck hunter, packman and street fighter2. All arcades have multiple games and player modes! Also In this finished basement is a large bedroom with a queen size bed. There is also another chill and relaxing area with a sectional couch that pulls out into a bed that overlooks another 60 inch tv with a fire stick for all your streaming needs. There are also extra pillows and blanket’s provided. Past the arcade room is the sauna room theres a short hallway that leads you to a relaxing 4 person sauna!

The old part of this farm house starts off with a good sized walk through open concept kitchen where you can make many different meals or appetizers with this fully stocked kitchen. Through the kitchen you will be greeted by 2 dining rooms that have stayed the same for many of years keeping our old fashioned way of life. Dining room can seat up to 10 people at the 2 tables, the wood fire place adds character but is not for use due to a fire hazard. Around the corner is a small bedroom with a single bed. Up the stairs to the second story of the house you will find a full 4 piece bathroom with shower and a soaker tub. On either side of the bathroom are bedrooms the large master bedroom has a king size bed as well as 2 double beds one on ether side of it for extra guest. This room also has a large electric fire place to keep you warm on those cold winter nights. On the other side of the hall way you will find a simple bedroom with a double bed as well. This house does have a large furnace that heats the entire house as well as some electric heaters in rooms and basement for added heat. This house is located right on the corner of Badjeros just to the north on grey road 63 you will see a very large Wide paved driveway that can hold up to 10 cars. I even offer 2 parking spots inside the garage to keep the snow and any other elements off of your car. Also for added convenience.

This house is a 30 minute drive to blue Mountain/ Collingwood area.This house is also a short 15 minute drive to Creemore and the famous Creemore brewery. A short 5 minute drive to the Bruce trail for a hike. Singhampton and devils glen are a short 5-8 minute drive away which offers a restaurant gas and convenience there is also beautiful hiking trails and the famous Singhampton caves
