Other than the wasp by the side door (nest in window frame of window on hinge side of door) was great. The view was amazing, the farm house was clean, and our dogs enjoyed the farm animals (city dogs). We would recommend to our friends.

SXS riding stay

The house sits up a long narrow road outside of town. Beautiful view and nice porch to sit and see the view. Plentiful parking for our truck and trailer. Was nice to have access to washer and dryer for our stay. I would definitely stay there again if we decide to come back to the area.

We had a great trip. The farmhouse was very clean and had plenty of room for four people. The view from the front porch is awesome. The house had everything we needed and was about 10 minutes from the main highway. I would recommend to groups looking for seclusion, space, and comfort.

Perfect place

Went their to ride the trails with friends. Ended up cruising down to the marina one night for dinner. Love how there are ATV approved streets in town to hit the trail heads. Property has an awesome view itself. Will totally stay again.

Farmhouse

Nice and very quiet place to stay. View is amazing. Lots of different games for family to play if not sitting and enjoying the swing, firepit, grill, or patio outside. More than enough cookware to fix a big meal. Comfortable main bed. Can be in town in under 10 minutes. Dogs loved staying there. Our choice of place to stay when we visit the area.

Just what we needed

This is our 2nd time staying at this property. We come here to ride SXS, and we can drive to the trails from the property. The home has all the essentials needed to make for a good time. We appreciate it being out in the "sticks", there isn't any noise other than the noise you make yourself. Plenty of parking room for vehicles and trailers. Kitchen has everything needed for meal prep. Washer and Dryer are much appreciated. Being able to bring the dogs with us is a bonus. Thank you!

Not good

Im sure this wont be posted. Maybe 10 houses from the property is at least 5o roosters chained in the sun, more in 2x2 cages with top on them on otherside if house. Then couple houses up theres caged dogs barking and fighting. The property is private nice house nice u have to make the beds but at night dogs are barking nonstop all night if u have tv on windows closed you wont hear them. Vrbo told me the birds are 2 miles from the house idk maybe but u drive by the poor things is the point we left days earlier due to the barking dogs and house hunting and driving past the other animals was sickening but the house was fine. If this makes the reviews ill be shocked oh u dont get anything made right for listening to barking night dogs when we left i forgot to tell them dogs 5 at least chased our truck and we had to drive 2 mph so we didnt hit them 3 houses down

Perfect for us

We were there to ride our SXS’s. The owner provided us with a map so that we could legally ride our SXS’s to the Tank Springs Trailhead. The property is located out of town and has wonderful views. Traffic on the road past the property is almost non-existent, there aren’t any streetlights, it’s just you and the stars at night. Just what we wanted. If you are looking for exciting nightlife, this wouldn’t be the place for you. If you prefer quiet, solitude, and privacy, this is it. The home was just as described and had everything we needed. It was very nice to be able to do our laundry every day and not have to pack dusty/dirty clothes back home. The couple of questions we came up with while there were answered almost immediately by the owner. We enjoyed our stay, thank you very much for sharing your home. We hope to be able to return again in the future.

Nice place to ride and boat. Close to both. The cat meows all night but we all enjoyed the stay.

Perfect spot out in the country but not to far from town. Easy access to the trails at Tackett creek and the royal blue side.

Home on the farm

We absolutely loved it! It was very secluded, peaceful and quaint! Loved all the decor in the house (old farm style), brought back many memories for both my husband and myself from our youth. It was a simple, unexpected joy to reminisce on pleasant memories from "grandma's house!" It is very convenient to town and the trails. We are looking forward to staying there again :) Oh, and the board games were a nice touch, we played yahtzee half the night :)

Perfect vacation spot

Location was great for accessing Tackett Creek through Pudge's and also great access for Ride Royal Blue. House was furnished well and beds made for a good night's sleep so you were ready to ride the next morning! Only thing it was missing was more time for me to be there! We're already planning our next trip and this house will be hard to beat.

Riding Get Away!

Awesome for our family group to go out on our side by sides. Owner was easy to get in touch with and answered all our questions, helped us with a map to get to the trails legally. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook, fire pit, grill, outdoor patios. Well loved it! Hopefully will be back sooner than later!!
