Conveniently located in Duck’s Colony by the Sea Complex. Sun Kissed is just the right Outer Banks vacation home for you and your family.

The condo has been completely renovated! Everything is brand new inside and so tastefully done! Also a new bar top is on the outside deck rail! This oceanfront condo features a community pool, tennis, basketball court, park grills, picnic area, and playground along with a boarded walkway to the beach with a dune-top deck. Within walking distance to all the activities which have made Duck one of our nation’s greatest family vacation destinations.

Sun Kissed also features nice ocean views from the balcony of this attractive 1st floor condo. Unit 109 Bldg B

The property was clean and inviting. Access to a pool and the close proximity to the beach were exactly what we were looking for. Close to shops, dining, and markets, we could ealk or easily drive and park.

Sun kissed very nice.

Perfect place for my wife and I to spend a week. Great location for the OBX. Not too far to go anywhere. Place was very clean on arrival and as nice as the photos on the website. Highly recommend for two people.

Great for small groups! It’s a nice, clean place that looks exactly like the photos. Nicely renovated. Great location, short walk to the beach. I don’t think it will be comfortable for 5 people as there is only one bedroom. It was great for 3 of us. Also, be aware that you would need to put on and strip all bedding as well as provide everything from hand soap to bathroom rugs. Not a dealbreaker but sharing in case someone is considering this place and not aware that it is a bare rental.

Lovely Recently Remodeled 1 BR Unit Close to Beach

Very nicely newly remodeled with great furnishings; needs to be listed as ONE bedroom with small bed in hallway; it is in no way a 2 BR; great location; easy beach access, nice pool; nice kitchen wares; really needs some lamps in bedroom - only an overhead but otherwise terrificEven though listed as keyless entry which it is, had to go into town to pick up code which is waste of time and unnecessary time in traffic. Should not say it is keyless entry if that is required.

Perfect getaway

This property was fantastic for the 2 of us. It’s clean, bright, and nicely updated. It’s definitely small, but for 2 adults it’s perfect. We had a view of the ocean from the deck, perfect for morning coffee. A quick walk to the beach with easy access. We stayed for 2 weeks and hope to return.

Stay at Sun Kissed

We absolutely loved our stay at Sun Kissed! It was the perfect place for us and our almost 2 year-old daughter, right on the beach and newly renovated. The floors were a little dirty when we arrived, but Carolina Shores has great customer service, and they offered to come clean them ASAP. We have loved staying at Colony by the Sea for the past few years and this particular condo is now our favorite. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Condo in Duck

Nice unit, but defiantly not a 2 bedroom unit as advertised, a narrow 5' long at best bed built into a wall is not a bedroom. Issues with the internet always disconnecting from our tablets and computer daily and a neighbor who was the unit owner chain smoking on his balcony every evening mad it almost impossible to sit outside, it was posted as not smoking on the balcony's, however no on-site property manager was available.

Lovely Condo with Minimal Complaints

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I, along with our 5 year old and 5 month old. The listing is inaccurate with regards to the number of bedrooms -- there is only 1 bedroom; the second bed is in a built-in in a hallway. While this worked for our 5 year old and his white noise machine, this would not work well for anyone needing personal space or with a different bedtime than the rest of the group. The renovations in this condo are lovely and no detail was missed. We felt very comfortable during our stay. The ocean can be seen from the deck of the condo - it was so close and easy for lugging all of our beach equipment and kids to the beach. The complex is very well maintained and taken care of, especially the pool, which can also be seen from the deck of the condo. The location is the perfect walk to all of our favorite places in Duck. Our only other complaint about the amenities is that there is a posted no smoking policy for the entire complex, but the condo owners above our unit (or whoever was renting it) were chain smokers and were smoking on their deck literally all hours of the day and night (and were quite loud). This made it very difficult to sit outside on the deck, especially with children.

Our Stay in Sun Kissed D-109 (8/10/2024 - 8/17/2024)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was excellent because of its proximity to the pool, the ocean, and the town. However, the accommodations were disappointing for many reasons including:1. King size bed was too big for the room and too high off the floor and totally unnecessary. Because the owner kept a locked closet for himself/herself, and the other closet was full of blankets and pillow, we had no place to put our suitcases so a small room became even smaller. The bed was so far off the floor that we needed the step ladder (the owners left there) in order to get into the bed. No chair to sit2. Storage in the master bedroom was almost non-existent.3. Ceiling fanning blades in the master was dirty.4. Needed to go shopping right away for toilet paper (1/2 roll left in master bath)5. 2nd bedroom was like a coffin; high off the floor with no safety retainer to prevent falling. It would have been better to have advertised D-109 as a one bedroom with a pull out couch.6. The mattress on the pullout sofa bed was very thin and uncomfortable. My 15 yr. grandson had to sleep here because the advertised 2nd bedroom was like a coffin and made hm feel claustrophobic.7. One of the king pillow cases was too narrow nd could not for the bed pillow.8.The wifi was HORRIBLE!. Every single time we closed out an app. or let the phone of iPad idea, we needed to re-initiate the wifi each time or our electronics reverted to our data plan!9. In the very first few minutes in the rental we had to call the property manager contact (Belle) to report the refrigerator's door gasket was coming off.We have rented many many vacation properties but by fae, this one welcomed us with the least number of things we could have used to start our vacation with our having go shopping right away. The property mamager's goody bag not only included an outdated coupon booklet (2023 to may 2024) but we laughed to ourselves that it include a roll of paper towels UNTIL we arrived on si
