This property has a wonderful location! Two minute walk to Holmes Beach, which is one of the best. From the beach you can catch the island trolley and it goes up as far as Pine street and back down as far as beautiful Coquina Beach. The house was spacious and had everything we needed.

The house is nice with a good location. Well stocked with basics, pool/beach stuff and bikes. The property management team was very responsive to issues. The house could use a good walk through to ensure all is in working order and safely attached to walls and ceilings.

Good but expensive for what it is

It was a nice place. Great location. Good host. I would say the cost of the place seemed to outpace how nice the place it. We did have a very good time and stay, however, my expectations of how nice it would be were higher (considering the price) than what I experienced. Had fun. Nice place. Would go back if it were a lower cost.

Great Family Rental

House comfortably accommodated 10 of us with plenty of privacy. The house was very clean. It was great that the beach and Publix were within walking distance. Property management was very responsive.

Great family vacation house

Loved the location! The house was great. The kitchen cabinets don't have handles on them which is kind of a pain. Beach toys and chairs were there and bikes which we loved! Overall great vacation!

Christmas Vacation

Great week between Christmas and New Year's eve for my children/grandchildren. Plenty of space for 7 adults and four children under 11 yrs. Heated pool was perfect for the kids and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. Close walk to the beach and Publix/CVS. Highly recommend this vacation home!

First time to AMI

This home was spacious and meet our needs for sleeping arrangements. The pool area was nice and it's a great locaton. The outside landscaping needs attention both front and back and the inside could use some maintenance. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in AMI.

Awesome Week.

Our family loved our stay. Everything was great. We had an a/c issue which was quickly resolved. Kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean. The house is located in the center of everything. There is a walk to the beach which was not bad. We would stay here again.

Holmes beach family vacation

Had a wonderful time at Holmes beach. We enjoyed our stay and the home was perfect for our family -each of our five children had their own room which of course was much appreciated by all. The house and pool fit our family very well. The short walk to the beach was easy. I am from Tampa and the drive over to relive childhood memories was not a bad drive and we use to spend vacations in AMI so it was also a nice reunion after 30+ years

Family trip

We had a great time at Angel Sea! The house could have been a little cleaner and some of the appliances could use an upgrade. But we didn’t let that stop us from having a great vacation! It was the perfect house to bring multiple families together. The Beach Retreats company was wonderful to work with and had quick response times to any questions or needs you may have! We would definitely return to this house if we ever vacation in AMI again!

Nice stay at angel sea

I loved this place. Gorgeous island. Property management was responsive and allowed us to check in early. Loved the proximity to beach and stores. I was disappointed that we were not informed that the hot tub was not working, the dishwasher top rack was broken, the thermostat batteries were dead, and there were multiple missing light bulbs throughout the house. Upon contacting the management company, they fixed the hot tub and brought batteries for the thermostat.

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

The property was perfect for our celebration. The landscaping was the perfect backdrop from our event. The house was comfortable and accommodating. The elevator worked perfectly for our needs. The only issue I had was that the floors were not clean. If we walked any barefoot our feet were dirty. Otherwise this place is amazing!! Would definitely book again!!!

Great Location

Loved our week at Angel Sea with 5 teens and 6 adults. Pool and hot tub were great and access to Holmes Public Beach across the street and Skinny’s burgers was fantastic for our teenagers. House could use a little maintenance as a shower was leaking into a downstairs bath and the outdoor TV was not working but property manager was onsite immediately when we expressed concern to fix to the best of their ability. We rented a golf cart and bikes and rarely needed a car. We had a great week and had everything we needed. Check in and check out were super easy and considering we booked pretty close to our dates we were happy with the value and amenities of the house. We loved AMI and didn’t want to leave!

Disappointing!

House was not clean, pool and jacuzzi were dirty, bed sheets had stains and dog hair... looked like they had not been changed. The property manager apologized for all the inconvenience and accommodated us in another rental (next door) which was an upgrade. The new rental Paradise Beach House was clean and beautiful. Had a little issue with the A/C at check-in, but it was taken care of.

Perfect location

This home was perfect for our multi family trip! There were 10 adults and a toddler and we never felt cramped on space. The home was equipped with just about everything you could think of. The only recommendation I could possibly make is to have an ottoman for the living room, so it would be more comfortable relaxing. The house is in the perfect location to everything! The beach is a short 3 minute walk, Publix was around the corner, restaurants and shopping were all close by. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed just about every day. This was by far the best outdoor lounge chairs I’ve used. The pool was cleaned twice a week, and they were super friendly and helpful. We loved the open kitchen and living room area so when we were cooking we could still enjoy everyone’s company. The elevator was a huge bonus with all our luggage, made going up the multiple flights of stairs a breeze! I don’t have enough good things to say about this rental experience except that it was outstanding! We made many memories and would love to come back! Anna Maria Island holds a special place in our heart and this just added more love. Thank you for an amazing vacation!

We had a good time, the AC's kept up with how hot it was, pool was beautiful, lots of pool toys and the kitchen was fully stocked, we didn't let the following items stop us from having a good time.Issues we had, there were multiple things in dis-repair. A dresser in one of the master units, 3 of the 6 drawers broken. In that same unit the toilet paper holder was broken and the door knob to the balcony was broken/coming off. The toilet in the 3rd bathroom constantly running. Almost EVERY AC duct had mold/mildew on it and on the ceiling. The AC intake was disgusting too, filter needed to be changed. The fan cover in one of the bathrooms was nearly falling down. Some of the beds were comfortable but some were TERRIBLE. There were 2 porta-cribs, one didn't work at all (luckily I brought a porta-crib for one of the babies). As we were leaving the elevator didn't work (we were hoping to use it to bring our luggage down), and an alarm was going off.They need more garbage cans, we had 7 adults and 5 children (2 babies) and when we left we had to put garbage outside the cans (I hate doing that). I know some of this is minor but paying a lot of money for a place, do better people.

Great Place!

The house was great for multiple families. Good layout and enough restrooms to make it easier for all of us with several teenagers in the house, this was important. The pool is heated which was great and it was cool at night. The pool gets a couple hours of full sun as it's very shaded and private. The patio outside is perfect for gathering a large group. The beach is close and beautiful. The main area is very crowded. Take a 10 minute walk and it's quiet and open and easy to visit. The chairs and bikes were available which helped along with a roller cart to get back and forth. The trolly was easy to jump on and visit other places on the island. Everyone is on vacation there so people were friendly and relaxed. The house needs a little bit of love in some areas, likely due to high rental turn over, a few things didn't work or are broken but nothing we couldn't work around. We let the company know when we left. The house was clean, updated items for most areas and we would absolutely stay there again. We traveled with three families, 12 people and plenty of room for everyone.

Great Vacation Home

We stayed with our adult children and another family member and two dogs for the week of Christmas. Although the weather did not cooperate we still had a great time. We had plenty of room for everyone. The elevator was great for getting everything up to the different floors and our older dog quickly became very comfortable with it! There were too many stairs for him! The hot tub was key as it was too cold to use the pool for most of the week. It was in the 40-50's on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Very close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. You could easily have two families in this house with the layout of the ensuite and second bedroom on the 2nd floor and another ensuite with 3 more bedrooms on the top floor. The management even stopped by with a container with a blanket and hot chocolate and marshmallows because of the cold snap. I have stayed in many ,many rentals and have never had that happen! All in all very nice,
